Very very disappointed in Take a Lot. Is already a customer today one down. With my last order I ordered Eucerin day cream which cost R399 and I received Nivea care oil worth R75. They tell me that everything was delivered according to my order after how many emails to Shaaiq.

I have a huge love for biltong and every now and then I spoil myself and buy my biltong specially at Boer en Butcher. Yesterday I was there and had to stand at the front table for a while before I could be helped. Someone came to help me and was quite quick and with his bare hands he weighed the biltong and put it in the bag. I asked him where his gloves were and that it was a bit unhygienic to which he then very rudely rep**** to me that they don't have gloves and are still waiting for them. It put me off completely and I will now have to drive a little further for my biltong , Joeys just around the corner. I reached out to the company but it looks like they are not really bothered.
Have been with Outsurance's PET department for over 5 years. Within one year they jumped R300.00 in access fee. They adjust your cover as they see fit. Fixed access rates applies. The claim I had with them on 23 September 2025 worked out at R2660 for full bill. They charged me R900 access which means this is a 33.3% OF CLAIM AMOUNT. They see this amount as a small claim. I dont have almost R3k to pay out of pocket expense. This is crazy.
What happened to your quality of fruit and vegetables you sell FLM? Its a very nice store to shop at but your fruit and veggies are not up to standard. I prefer to rather go pick my fresh fruit and veg at Checkers Willowbridge. My mince I also buy at Checkers/PNP as FLM mince I think needs to go to the dog section :(
I decided to treat myself to a Friday lunch at Jackson and Black, Tygervalley and had the Rump and braaibroodjie combo lunch special. This was a spur of the moment decision as I normally go to the Boer and butcher in Durbanville for a nice piece of steak. (so worth it) I was very disappointed in what I received, the meat was definitely not A grade and it was full of tendons which made it hard to cut. The braaibroodjie was a real let-down. Cheese spread with fried onion and pieces of tomato :( Was actually so disgusted that I have waisted R180.00
Took my Renault Clio in to Auto station Bellville with a quote I got from Bosch Services in Durbanville. Auto station quote come to R7000 cheaper, they offered excellent service and the ladies at reception are a real bonus to this company. They also didn't charge me inspection fee. I got my car back in a day and half spotless clean. Would recommend this service station to anyone. Thank you once again Auto station Bellville
I would actually like to give no star, but this option isn't available. HORRIBLE SERVICE! NO COMMUNICATION AND NOT EVEN TO MENTION THE OVERPRICED ITEMS THEY CHARGED. When you ever decide to take your car into Bosch Services Durbanville be prepared to : 1. wait untill after 14H00 to receive a quote 2. which are far overpriced than the other place in and around..i did my homework :( 3. no driver to collect you at the time you have scheduled with them to take you back to the workshop 4. horrible client service 5. no communication 6. wait for your car until 18h00 in the evening because they didn't put the correct parts back into your car even though you didn't except the quote 7. do not make you aware of the upfront costs when you pull your car in for inspection They will never see me again, even though they offered to do my brakes for R1500 less then what they quoted me.
One star isnt even worth it. This is now the second time I bought a men's Bewell watch and very disappointed in the quality of these watches. My husband wore his watch a month and one of the steel pins keeping the watch face connected to the watch band, broke. The first watch did the same 3 years ago and we thought maybe this was just something that happened and therefore we bought another watch end of last year. BUT,,,the same thing happened. Trying to return these watches...oh golly gosh ,, what a waste of time. No one every comes back to you or try to even sort it out. R1200 down the drain.... ILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM BEWELL AGAIN
On Sunday 2 October 2022, I had my 40th birthday party at Bossa Meerdendal. We opted for the set menu option 2 which included starter, main and dessert. Two weeks before the function we already settled the food bill. The drinks were for everyone's own account on the day. When my husband and myself arrived there the Sunday we met up with our waiter Yolanda and the manager on duty, Neels. We informed Neels and Yolanda of the fact that the guests will have to pay for their own drinks and therefore we would like to run separate tabs on the table but was told its not allowed. They did however assured us that they have a system in place to sort this out at the end of the day on who paid what and no need to stress about this as they got it covered. We had a lovely time around the table with friends and family and enjoyed the main course. The starters wasn't that great as it was too spicy. We had to wait quite some time for our desserts to arrive especially the Don Pedro's. As the day came to an end we left and only realized back home that we were overcharged on the champagne (R85 per bottle) which was on the table and the payments which my guests made towards the bill for their drinks, was not deducted from the total amount on bill (have proof of the payments) I then send out the invoice with my query that Sunday night to Clara (who made the booking) and she said that they will recon this slip and get back to me. After many telephone calls from my side, emails and even driving out to Meerendal to see Neels face to face on Monday 26 October 2022 , and having the proof of payments with me , they still haven't had an answer for me. Today I received an email from Clara saying that they will refund me an amount which is not the correct amount even though I have all the evidence showing payments made. No Bossa will ever see me again.
