I visited Prisonbreak market on Wednesday 3 January with family visiting from the UK (including 2 small children). Unfortunately many of the shops were closed. The only place we found open to eat was the 'Noble Experiment' at the Pour House. Only pizzas and lasagne were available for order. We ordered pizza and drinks, but the pizza never came. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, and going inside to enquire where our pizza was FIVE TIMES, and the children getting very cranky as they were hungry, we demanded our money back. We were told we should have gone in and asked for our order (after we did exactly that five times!). There were not many people there, so it could not have been a matter of being too busy. People who came after us, got their orders. There were 5 employees working in the kitchen and serving. We barely got an apology. I was embarrassed to have taken my visitors there.

What should've been a lovely Mother's Day Lunch at the Prison Break Market was almost ruined by walking into the Noble Experiment. The Owner completely overreacted to us bringing beers into her area even though we had already ordered pizzas from her. She has poor customer service and didn't make an exception for first time attendees to the market and the fact that it was Mother's Day. Looking around other guests in her restaurant were allowed to bring in food and drinks and she justified their actions by saying they're her family and could do as they pleased. It's impossible to not conclude that she gave preferential treatment to her other guests and when we did the same we were called aside and spoken to. How is that not racist?! She asked us to leave, which we did and for the remainder of the afternoon we watched as her different guests were served food from other restaurants. She didn't move an inch to address this with them as she had done with us. I was truly disgusted in the manner that she had treated us and was unapologetic for it! An establishment like the Noble Experiment need to understand the market concept of a business which is different from exclusive shopping centers/malls. Customer service was appalling and l would not recommend this eatery. Buns Outs saved the day with friendly service, delicious burgers and wings!!!

What should've been a lovely Mother's Day lunch at the Prison Break Market was almost ruined by walking into The Noble Experiment. The owner completely overreacted to us bringing beers into her restaurant even though we had ordered pizzas from her restaurant. She has no regard for customer service and didn't even make an exception that it was mother's day. Looking around other guests were allowed to do the same. (She justified that they were family therefore could do as they please) Anyone would understand how this looked suspicious and racist. She went further to ask us to leave even though we had ordered pizzas from her establishment. We left and for the rest of the afternoon watched as guests in her restaurant were served food from other establishments and she didn't move an inch to correct them or speak to them in the manner she had done with us. She was blatantly racist! An establishment like The Noble Experiment needs to understand market concept of her business she's not in an exclusive shopping Centre she's in a market. If she has issues serving people of colour she doesn't need to be at the Prison Break Market. She needs to learn customer service and not be so rigid especially to people of colour. This is not Apartheid! @BunsOut saved the day with their friendly service, delicious burgers and lemon and herb wings.

We visited the noble experiment at the prison break market for mothers day. Before we sat down we specifically asked if we could buy drinks from outside as they had run out. The establishment gave us the go-ahead and we proceeded to sit down. It turned into not such a great afternoon as after we'd settled down and ordered pizzas from the noble experiment as we had been advised to do we were very specifically targeted by the owner and told to vacate her restaurant as we could not bring in those drinks. We were a bit shocked as other people had drinks and food from other places. She mentioned that all the other people in that place were her friends and only there were allowed to bring food/drinks. She was rude, hostile and quite a disturbing individual. Patrons sitting next to us were also taken aback at her approach and choice of words. My advice is to stay well clear of The Noble Experiment.
