From a Simple Quotation Request to Insults and Legal Threats — My Experience with The Whiteboard Shop
<div>I reached out to The Whiteboard Shop requesting a quotation for 10 projectors that met specific technical requirements — a straightforward business enquiry. What followed was completely unexpected. The first response I received was dismissive, stating only that “we do not sell any projector with that specification.” When I pointed out that one of their own listed models appeared to meet those requirements, the exchange quickly turned unprofessional. I was later called a “retard” by a company representative and threatened with legal action after leaving a factual review describing my experience. To make matters worse, I was copied into an email thread with a complete stranger who had no connection to me, apparently because our companies share a similar name — an unacceptable breach of professional boundaries. A company that truly values its clients and reputation would handle such matters with courtesy, diplomacy, and accountability, not insults or threats. I am sharing this experience so that other customers and businesses can make an informed decision before engaging with this supplier. My comments are factual and based on written correspondence, which I have retained for reference.</div>

Bad Client Service
I am very disappointed in the service I received from this company. Apart from struggling to get hold of the sales team, it took them ages to get back to me on queries I had. After I paid my order and went there to collect they didn't have the amount they confirmed on their order confirmation. When I followed up with Rudi at the sales department he had a very bad attitude and didn't even try to accommodate me, or even just offer an apology. I would NOT recommend them at all.

After I paid my order and went there to collect they didn't have the amount they confirmed on their order confirmation. Great products, customer service could be better
Great products, but they have got some work to do on customer service once products are paid for. They were particularly unhelpful and uncommunicative about promised delivery times and delays/alignment with their chosen courier company.

Misleading advertising on delivery
Parrot products advertise products online and promise "next day delivery". http://www.whiteboardshop.co.za They also advertised "installation" which - when I looked - also shared the promise of "next day delivery". Well that's what I would expect at a price tag of R672.50! The product I ordered was a simple magnetic whiteboard which should be fairly straightforward to install. After I had complained that "next day delivery" was not effected the website suddenly changed to indicate that installation is booked "according to availability" - what does that mean if anything ?? Still waiting nearly a week later. The office lady said they would be coming at 10am today - no sign of them. She has not communicated further to advise of any additional delays. I ordered and paid for the whiteboard product on 12/09/2017. Today is 18/09/2017.
