Dear Toughees, Beginning of the year my cousin purchased a pair of school shoes. The transaction was made at Ackerman's Stanger. The school they only opened on the 14th of January in KwaZulu Natal. But by the 14th of February there were already torned. I suggested she takes them back to Ackerman's Stanger. Where she was not assisted actually the blame was put to her. There are reason's as to why we still by Toughees instead of the other brands. She no longer has the receipt. I have the picture with the barcode if you need to investigate the full patch

I ordered SCHOOL SHOES online on the 5th of January, unfortunately I had to process a return on the one pair of school shoes. It is now the 11th of FEB and I have yet to get my money or my new pair of school shoes. TERRIBLE SLOW SERVICE

Bought a school shoe online on the Toughees SA website. The strap is way too small and it is not adjustable, don't even think a quality check was done as I have bought the exact same shoe the previous year and it was perfectly fine. I logged a refund on their website over a week ago and to date I have not received any feedback. Pathetic service, no customer support whatsoever. The email confirmation of my request states 48hrs, it is now over a week.

Bought a school shoe online on the Toughees SA website. I have tried on 3 separate occasions to get my online order exchanged. You are promised within 1-2 days you will get responses/contact but nothing. I've never received such terrible service from such a large consortium. I've had Shein orders exchanged and refunded in a quicker time frame than this.

Good Day, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of assistance regarding my order. My order was delivered on 08 January 2026, however the school shoes (size 6) were too big. I immediately logged an exchange, and the package was collected on 09 January 2026(changing it fot a size 6). To date, the replacement order is still showing “fulfillment in progress” with absolutely no updates. It has been a week, and my daughter is currently without school shoes because of this delay. This is unacceptable and needs to be urgently prioritized. I have tried to resolve this through your live chat, but only received one response from a human agent, which reflects very poor service. I work in email support myself, and this level of customer service shows a complete lack of customer satisfaction and urgency. I have also emailed the alternative Toughees email address with no response at all. I am requesting immediate assistance, clear communication, and an urgent resolution to this matter. Please advise when the replacement will be dispatched, as this delay is directly affecting my child. I expect this issue to be treated with urgency. Regards, A very frustrated customer

Please save yourself from this nonsense store with bad customer care. I purchased school shoes on the 09/01/2026 its the 16/01/2026 shoes are nowhere the pargo delivery service with their tracking system it’s ******* and clueless workers when I phoned them on the 15/01/2026 to track parcel they told me the using Skynet courier which I have no info about and themselves cannot access them to trace the parcel. Online the parcel track info it says they failed to deliver because no contact on the parcel. If you want to purchased these weak shoes try in store rather then online.
