Duplicated Loan Account Details on Credit Bureau After Loan was Paid up in FULL!
I had the exact same problem. I opened one account with them and paid the loan up in full in DECEMBER 2021. They duplicated my loan account details closed one account and left the duplicated loan open. To date 28 September 2022, it is almost 10 months later and they have not removed the duplicated account. I get the run around:.. told they’re submitted updates to the credit bureau and I should wait 21 days. 21 days pass and the information is still reflected on my account so I then send emails to ULOANS to query. They tell me they submitted to the credit bureau and I should wait 21 days. This pattern continues for TEN MONTHS!!!!!!! My credit profile still has the ULOANS account when I owe them NOTHING. A fully paid up loan for almost a year!!!

Uloans bad service
Good afternoon am having problem with uloans 2020 December I open an account with them everything went well only to find out that they open another two accounts how I don’t knw of which is affecting my credit score,I called them they told me that they wer not aware of such but they have sended an email to credit bureau’s to resolve this issue,so my concern is how came I have two other accounts with you n you wer not aware of such if I didn check my status when wer they wer goin to be aware of such they told me have to wait 21working days so that there credit bureau can reflect.who gave them my personal information to open another account without my permission?

Uloans bad service

Account in arears
I pay every month and now all of a sudden my account is in arears. Refuses to phone back and if you get trough to them they have a lot of excuses that it is a glitch to the system but give me a bad credit score.

Unaccounted-for Fees
Really disappointing service, took out a loan R15k in 2020, paid a few installments, then unfortunately Covid hit me, couldn't pay back. Pulled my credit report and it had 3x Uloans on it, showing I owe them R40k+ altogether. Phoned them about this and they have 2 of the entries closed, I never had these loans, so it can't be closed, it mustn't even be there. Got statement last month showed with interest and fees for all this time I owe just over R13k. Gathered the money and phoned them today to get final settlement so I can get this off my name and suddenly I owe R17k. In about a month suddenly there was an additional R4k in fees. What fees? All the fees were on the statement last month, where does these come from? I don't have the additional R4k and i won't have it for a while. I am not paying R13k and then have a balance of R4k which end up in R8k in another month because I can't pay it. This is nonsense. Don't use them, they are quick to help you but look at the nonsense they do behind your back.

Awful service experience ever
The service of this credit provider is appalling! I settled their loan on the 16th and they confirmed the payment, only for them to debit again on the 25th. I sent 4 emails already and no one bothered to get back to me. Now their lines are not hoing through

Why after sending my details yesterday afternoon and then my documents this morning am I still waiting for uloans to acknowledge receipt of documents I sent. They are very slow in responding and it seems they dont care.

Review U Loans
I applied for a U Loan last week. I only applied for an amount of R30K and the repayment amount would have only been R1134. I provided all paid up letters. I also provided my additional savings account from which it is clear I have saved funds. I dealt with a very helpful and professional Agent by the name of Phumzile. I also provided the letters of what is outstanding on my current obligations. The total repayment of my monthly obligations amount to R13640.This amount includes my loan and credit card payments and my clothing account and the cleaning services for my parents. Phumzile was unfortunately not in on Friday. I spoke to Bazel and Tirani. Tirani requested clearer letters. I provided same to him and Bazel. I posed the question as to what amount they have on file.He stated R110 000. I never applied for a R110 000 loan only R30K with a repayment instalment of R1134. When I phoned the company again Bazel stated they will phone me shortly. I ten phoned again and asked tospeak to Tirani. The call agent just stated the application was rejected due to affordability. Tirani did not even speak to me himself he conveyed the message through the call agent. The verification department did not even consider my savings saved, the fact that my sister contributes to the cleaning service and not even that my partner shares our expenses. The fact is my total obligations payments are R13 640. Considering my earnings rejected through affordibility. It simply does not make sense. The CEOis Mr Keshan Pillay and I wanted to send him an email. They refused toprovide same to me. If you apply kindly only deal with Phumzile and be sure your application may be rejected as it seems they are not trained in assessing affordibility. Regards, A
