I have an older vehicle Polo vivo 2011. My vehicle was booked in as the battery light was not illuminating on the dashboard 2 May 2025. I took it in the morning just after 7am,around 1pm they sent me a quote for further testing and coolant flush. Before going ahead with the further testing of the cluster i told them i will need a report for my warranty and i wont be doing a coolant flush as i did replace my thermostat in December 2024 so this was suppose to be done during this process,after hearing this technician told me quote is wrong and its a break fluid flush. 5pm the Friday they told me the cluster is being taken out. Saterday after 12pm i messaged them to ask for an update only to be told the place that needs to test the cluster is closed on Saterdays which was not previously communicated to me the Friday at 5pm. Monday they sent 2 updates they have been trying to get hold of the place the cluster was sent to. Tuesday , 6 May 2025 they said the cluster was cleaned and the battery light is now working BUT i asked what was the problem cause i need that report for my warranty, they couldnt give me an answer and the technician said dont worry about the cost i will cover it with my salary because its too much admin for R1800. He will just continue with the coolant flush then i said NO i replaced my thermostat in Dec24 and this was supposed to be done that time and he said sorry i meant break fluid flush and i said NO since clearly you just trying to make stuff up at this point. I know i dont have the latest car but if you did not want to work on my car then tell me! My airbag light is now on after taking out the cluster and everything but i refuse to take it to them or even call the company about this cause the service i received this time around left a BITTER taste in my mouth.

I recently took my car in for a service, and before that, it had no noticeable noise or performance issues. The day after the service, I noticed a strange noise during start-up. When I took it back to the service center, they couldn’t identify the cause but wanted to charge me extra for addressing a problem that only began after they worked on my car.

Op vakansie. Chris het belowe die part is môreoggend 10:00 hier en dan sit ons hom vinnig in. Daarna verdwyn Chris sonder om iets te laat weet. Kantoor kry hom vir 2 dae nie in die hande nie. Nee wat. Slaapstad is 'n geskikte bynaam.

I had a very pleasant experience when dealing with the staff at VAG Spec Centre Cape Town. They are a bunch of professionals. They kept me up to date about my car every step of the way. The workmanship is pleasing.

Two weeks ago I came to this forum for help with the issue displayed in the picture. VAGSPEC Cape Town was amongst the suggested places to take it and I did. Was welcomed warmly, Chris diagnosed the car and identified the issue. Took a short drive around the block just to check if any others issues existed. I am glad to say that it's back and drives quite nicely. I also appreciated the time he took to answer all my questions however dumb they might have been. Dare I say I have found a place to deal with my car for as long as its under my possession. Thanks to this platform as well for providing a place where assistance is at our finger tips... On to the next.... we are even preparing for our annual 4 province(W/C to KZN) marathon in a day. Should be fun 😋
