They have no customer service at all. I took my car for minor service and when I fetched it, the car was still dirty. I was told they only clean the car when is major service, this didn't make sense to me as cleaning is part of "customer service". Furthermore, my minor service was more than than the major as I had some replacement. I've went to a lot of workshops before but is the worst!

🚫 WARNING: DO NOT USE WACKERS VW & AUDI SPECIALISTS 🚫 Hey everyone, I had a ********** experience with Wackers VW & Audi Specialists in Cape Town, and I feel compelled to share my story to protect others from making the same mistake I did. I paid over R65000 to have my gearbox fixed, and what did I get in return? My car was leaking gearbox oil daily! 😡 After countless complaints, they finally admitted to damaging the seals during their so-called "repair" and charged me for the oil they had to refill – total injustice! 😤 Bottom line: Their service is TERRIBLE! Stay away from Wackers VW & Audi Specialists unless you want to throw your hard-earned money down the drain and deal with endless hassles. 🙅♂️ Spread the word, and let's protect fellow car owners from this nightmare! Share this post to save someone's time, money, and sanity. #WackersNightmare #BadService #AvoidAtAllCosts

My car was book in on Monday for my water pump, the claim was approved, my car was done on Wednesday, they wouldn't release my car before they get payment from the warranty people,no disregard of how they inconvenient me as the client, my car just had to stand there at the workshop, I didn't even test drive the car after repair, Yesterday the warranty people send through proof of payment and that wasn't good enough for Deidre(Manager Director)and needed to talk to the boss 1st. this morning just after 8 i got and email that i can pick up my car money is reflecting in they account, on the invoice they even charge me, for the cloths that they wipe they hands on what a joke, just to claim the full amount what the warranty people pay out. i will never use this place again after what I went through for them #WIN#

These guys pretend as if they understand and care about their customers up until they have received the money. They overhauled our engine on a Polo 1.4 Trendline and two weeks later, they claimed nothing was wrong with the car that they needed to fix whereas there was clearly something wrong due to the sound of something being lose when the vehicle is being driven. Stay away from Wackers as they are specialists in denying and dissociating themselves from their own shoddy work.

Read Carefully: this is not a negative review. I towed my car to Wackers this morning for a non-start issue. I was called later and told that my vehicle had a stripped cam-belt and that valves could be bent. I asked for a ball park figure which landed at R18K but I was told it would depend on the inspection and what they find. So I asked them how much for the cylinder head removal and inspection and I was quoted R3100. To my knowledge, cylinder head removal would take about 5hours max if you don't have the special VW tools needed. Removing the obstructing parts around the cylinder head would take most of the time. I assume Wackers have the special VW/Audi ninja tools and experience to remove the cylinder head in say 2.5hours max?! Meaning they were going to charge me R1 200/hr. for a 2005 Jetta TDi?! Its either they: 1. Were simply trying to take advantage of the fact that my vehicle is a tow-in, assuming I have no option but to pay whatever they come up with. 2. Are genuinely more expensive than the Volkswagen/Audi Dealer. 3. Had other bigger jobs and were using high prices to get rid of me. I kindly refused and told them to not proceed with anything else. I appreciate that they told me before removing anything. Norman was very friendly but good lord the pricing is through the ceiling. Just my opinion.

I was advised telephonically by Wackers that they provide free quotations. Afterwhich I took my vehicle to Wackers on 17 Jan 2018, for a faulty clutch and motor oil leak. I was then contacted on the 18th Jan, advising that they need to charge me 2 hours of labour in order to determine the cause of the issues (+-R1300 later). I was then called a bit later with a quote, which as as follows: Clutch kit replacement-R6270 (this is double what other providers charge), Input shaft seal-R210, Grey Cover-R360,5th gear housing-R2500, push rod-R898.10, Totalling R10200 (which I had to negotiate to R9200, by convincing them how unreasonable their costs are). Which I believe is a complete ripp-off. I wish I could cancel everything, however was advised that certain items broke when they tried to determine the issue with the car, and that I would still be liable for their labour costs as well as have to tow the car home. They clearly operate by getting their customers in the corner, with no reasonable alternate choice. Anyway, would definately not recommend Wackers to anyone.
