When I go out for some drinks after a good days work, my safety comes first and that place has very poor security. I almost got my phone snatched away by a ******** during a phone call while standing by the balcony. The dude had enough time to climb from the outside and tried to snatch my phone through unsecured roller blinds. With him noticing that it was going to take some time for me and my friends to go round the counter and through the front door before catching up on me,,, he just jumped down and walked through an open small gate on the side of the parking lot, got in white etios n drove off. I was left with a broken phone ,,, shaken by the fact that this happened while I was standing inside,,, . I then went looking for the manager who was at least helpful in getting me n my friend an uber to get us home,,, hence the one star. But before we left, we took a walk around with the manager looking for security because I had been told there were 2 guys patrolling outside only to find one guy who was responsible for opening and closing the front boom gate and no one else... It's the last place I would recommend for anyone to be during this festive season .

Got to the restaurant 12h45 Waiter took our order at 12h50, drinks and food. At 12h55 waiter retook our order apparently to confirm but you could see he forgot our order. At 13h15 my customer the waiter told is our food would be there in 5 minutes. We got our food at 13h31 which is atrocious for 4 plates considering we were the only people in the entire restaurant. My colleague ordered a medium rump steak, it was so well done, it was extremely hard for him to cut it, even with the steak knife we had to ask for because they had given him a bread knife to eat a steak. The meat was sent back at 13h35, we were told it would take 7-8 minutes to redo the meal, the meal came back at 14h02. It still wasn't the way it was supposed to be, however at this point the rest of us were done eating and we were late for other meetings. I would not recommend any to waste their time and money at this place. If they can't serve 4 people while it is completely empty, what more when it is heavily busy.

This is actually for the 86 Public Pineslopes. I used to love the 86Public in Randburg, especially their wings, had a few birthday lunches there. However this is the worst food I have had at a restaurant in years! Ordered the 2x 500g wings, which somehow against the laws of physics only amounts to 6 wings drums and tasted meh at best and had a funny taste like they had been reheated multiple times already. Then things got worse, the wings were somehow cold as well, we sent them back and they did come back warm, but tasted even worse, it tasted like they washed the sauce off the wings we sent back with soapy water and then just reheated them with new sauce. Will tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague, I'm actually too scared to even go back to the Randburg one now.

Had such a great time, our waiter Nicholas was amazing, he ensured we were good the entire night. And the pizza! amazing, one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted.

I had the most uncomfortable experience today at 86 Public Randburg. There was a staff meeting around, and I had to witness the ops manager disrespecting, belittling and swearing at the staff. He used vulgar language and shouted at them in-front of a customer. Ironically while telling them how to treat customers and how they needed to fix their attitudes, he was the one giving me the worst customer experience. On his way out he asks them to give me a drink on the house, that’s when he must’ve realized how unprofessional he had been. Somehow he thought a free drink would make it okay. 86 Public please teach that guy how to treat and respect people, both customers and staff.

Not even worth getting ANY stars! After waiting so long for the food, we received two quarter chicken meals that was still raw inside, after sending it back, within 5 minutes they bought 2 new plates with chicken that was STILL RAW!! Blood coming out of it!! It made us all so nauseous and sick, none of us could even enjoy the food or the place!! Thanks for making my 30th birthday a memorable one!!

86 public is a very racist and selective restaurant, my experience was not a good one The waiters are very selective who they attend to, one would wonder if there no equality, the bouncers are the worst culprit, harassment of customers is what they do, i suppose they do that because they expect customers to give them money so customers can be treated well, the establishment smells corruption which is an example of private business corruption condoned by the owner, the business owner of 86 public does not take the business seriously perhaps the customers are not seen as the source of sustainability of the business. i think the best way is for people to boycott the rubbish place and let it shut down
