After 15 years as a loyal VW customer, this was my final straw. I dropped off my Touareg (Reg JN19XYGP) on 25 March for an oil change only yet ended up with unauthorised repairs, a week-long wait for o-rings, and then three weeks without my car (only one courtesy vehicle day). Each return introduced new warning lights and an ECU limp-mode fault that risked permanent damage. Seven weeks of follow-ups, formal complaints, escalations to “head office” and German customer care all yielded only excuses and monitoring. No apology, no compensation, no expert inspection. If you value your time, your safety and your money, stay clear of Alan Hudson Motors Mbombela and think twice before trusting VW South Africa to stand behind its brand. Took my car for minor service(oil change) at this dealership, 30 minutes after pick up i notice that oil level has not been updated, there is a park assist error and a steering mulfunction error, the batter needed a jump start a few minutes after the car stops, mind you my car is less than a year old and the battery is still fresh for malfunction. I take the car back and they tell me that they had an electrical fault and could not reset and update the car after effecting the service. from that day, every second day the battery needs to be jump started, i get errors such as; steering massist mulfunctionining, park distance control, hill park assit malfunction etc. Alan Hudson motors keep saying they are detecting no fault but i have a car that needs a jump start almost every second day.

One of the worst and worthless dealership i ever came across in my entire life. Arrogant and very careless staff, poor service level and outrageously rude management, absolute nonsense. I am a Mozambique national, i delivered my vehicle for repairs in March 2024 and the intial repair timeline was 3 weeks. However, i only managed to pick up the vehicle in February 2025 with faulty brakes and nonefunctional windows all this deemed to have been repaired. I own a VW Tourag 2006 model which i booked in for repairs. Since then, i was called in 4 times to collect the vehicle and eachtime i got there, there was always something wrong with the vehicle and i wasted money in traveling and accommodation costs. They refused to take responsibility for their failure to repair the vehicle and to cover my costs eachtime they called me in collect the vehicle. At last, the ****** dealership principal (Dirk) told me after i spent R110k, that they are not taking any responsibility and he told me that was the price i paid for buying an old gray import vehicle, very rude, pathetic and incosiderate. I asked him why he accepted to fix an old car as he rightly said and he just couldnt answer my question. I had deposited trust and hope in Alan Hudson to fix my vehicle, unfortunately all my hopes were dashed and frustrated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL, ALL MOZAMBICANS OR ANYONE GOING THERE, PLEASE DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

Worst dealership ever Bought a car in July 2023 a second hand Opel corsa at their Nelspruit branch ,3 months down the line the car started experiencing mechanical problems Reported the matter without any assistance The car it’s been in and out of mechanics since I bought Sent emails ,calls and everything without any helpful assistance I wouldn’t advice anyone to buy second hand cars from them

I took my vehicle in for repairs on 21st December 2024, and my service advisor was Vineshree Harangee. This young lady she's extremely unprofessional and not customer friendly. The technician who was assigned to my vehicle was going in for a leave and she didn't even bother to assign the next available technician, instead she told me my vehicle will be delayed due to the technician going for a leave. I called her manager Sonja Meintjies who quickly arranged for repairs and she was very professional and easy to talk to. I was also able to speak with the technician and his mechanics, one named David, very much professional and they worked until late hours just to finish assembling the engine of my vehicle. I give the business a 3 star, Service advisor = 0, Manager = 5 and Technicians = 5, (5+5+0)/3=3.3

This dealership is one to avoid. <div>On the 20th April 2023,I had taken my Volkswagen Tiguan in for servicing of the Sunroof.I was then appointed to a Service Advisor called Vineshree who then told me that it would take at least 4 days for the sunroof to be replaced and that she would update me via WhatsApp on the progress of the vehicle. The last time I spoke to her was on Tuesday 25April 2023 and I’m still waiting for an update. The problem is that she now avoids my calls and never returns my messages. When I called in today I had to complain to one of her Managers first and eventually got put through Vineshree. As soon as I advised her of my frustration and her poor service delivery, she somewhat didn’t show any sense of urgency or empathy towards my complaint. She somewhat rushed the conversation and never listened to what I was trying to bring to her attention. What also concerned me is that I advised that I wasn’t happy and that I’m going to report this matter, her response was simply that “It’s okay Mam”. This shows that the employee has no care towards Alan Hudson’s brand reputation nor the impact her arrogance has. I kindly ask that Volkswagen looks into this matter and avoid giving such roles to people who have no interest in assisting VW customers.</div>
