Bought two Astrum PB070 Mini Ups items from them. Both worked for 2 months then both just died i did send it back and i was told on both the batteries was replaced now they come on but do not charge at all this company is taking me for a ride these people are not trustworthy once they got your money the after sale service is up to no good. This is South Africa there is a law protecting us as consumers i will not leave it here if i'm not refunded i will take this matter further .... i do not have time for companys selling no good lifetime items knowingly that it will give problems lying about replacing the batteries send it back to me and still not working. Why do business in this way your company name is at risk.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Astrum Peripherals, and their poor handling of a simple issue has left me extremely dissatisfied. Before placing my order, I made sure to send them the exact battery details, including the serial numbers, to ensure they would supply the correct one. Despite this, they still sent me the wrong battery. When I reached out to resolve the issue, providing all the necessary proof and details again, I was shocked by their response. Instead of offering a refund, they only offered me store credit. This was completely unacceptable, as I needed the refund to purchase the correct battery from another supplier. I had made it crystal clear that I could not use the credit, but they refused to budge. I went above and beyond to make sure there were no mistakes by providing the correct battery information before the order, yet Astrum still failed to supply the right product. And instead of owning their mistake and refunding me, they pushed me into accepting credit I didn’t want or need. Their unwillingness to provide a proper refund and their lack of accountability are simply unacceptable. I’ve now had to spend even more time and effort finding the correct battery elsewhere, all because of Astrum's poor service. I strongly recommend avoiding Astrum Peripherals if you value clear communication, proper customer service, and timely refunds. They’ve lost my business for good.

I have bought two products of astrum. A camera for the laptop and head phones. Purchasing Astrum is fine to do however not for purchasing in sound equipment. As I am not the only one to experience the same equipment issue, do NOT purchase sound equipment from astrum. Everything else seems to be fine

Had an issue with a SN93 watch that broke. Unfortunately it was out of warranty meaning that I would need to purchase a new device. Got the device for less than what I bought it on Takealot! I was phoned back when they said they would.

This company is not trustworthy and should not be supported. One gets inundated with promotional e-mail, but as soon as you complain about a faulty product or return it, nothing happens. Promises are made about refunds, but nothing materialises.

I bought the ET260 wireless sport headphones and they were not functional for use in exercise. The earhooks don't keep the earphones in place effectively, and the wire with mic runs in front of the body thus slaps around during exercise. I tried it for hiit and while running and the headphones simply do not stay in place properly. When querying with Astrum, they said they cannot take the headphones back. I challenged them to try the headphones on themselves at the office to see what I mean. They sent me a video of one of the blue collar workers jumping around with the earphones on. When I enquired as to whether the earhooks actually keep the earphones in the ear or just hanging on to the earlobes, they did not respond. They also did not respond to my remark about the wires getting in the way of training. They simply reiterated that they will not help with a credit on the item. This product is not suitable for general sports use as the manufacturer claims.

Good Day, I purchased nine Astrum branded USB sound cards from Astrum Peripherals in Durban on the 23rd of April, on the 25th of April I call Astrum and spoke to the receptionist and I advised here that four of the nine USB sound cards were defective. I went to Astrum and was advised by the receptionist that Astrum cannot replace the faulty products as I did not have the original packaging , she then booked all four sound cards in for testing. On the 9th of May I called Astrum Peripherals spoke to the receptionist and I enquired about the sound cards, she then told me that the technician checked all four sound cards and found no faults. I went to Astrum picked up the Sound Cards and and found them to still be defective. I initially bought nine so I swapped the USB sound cards in between PC's to fault find, my IT technician and I found that four of the sound cards were indeed faulty as reported initially. I then called Astrum and the receptionist gave me her bosses number. I spoke to him and after pleading my case to him he then called the receptionist and asked to swap the four faulty USB sound cards. The next day the 10th of May I return to Astrum Peripherals and collect the 4 new sound cards, which the receptionist opened out of the packaging and handed to me, the reason behind this was that I didn't return the defective products in packaging. Returning to my office my IT technician and I found that three of the four "new" sound cards were still defective. We proceeded to fault find and indeed 3 of the four were defective. I tried calling and messaging the "boss" at Astrum and he never answered or replied to my messages. Today the 14th of May I return to Astrum Peripherals and ask for a refund or exchange of the product . The receptionist called her boss who asked her to tell me that they cannot return/replace or refund the product, the receptionist then told me that I didn't return the product in original packaging so there's no guarantee. I walked out of the store and then called the "boss" who told me to "get lost" as the defective product is not his problem. I am not his customer. He then cut the call and never took my calls again. I offered numerous times to bring my PC's to Astrum so that they can check that the fault is with their device and not my PC's. I have now made ten 40km return trips to Astrum Peripherals and I still have 3 defective products. The lack of respect for customers from the receptionist and the "boss" was not justified or warranted I believe the CPA should protect me and others in such situations. The" boss" had no respect for me as a customer. Very sad, fustrating experience !!!
