Paid but did not get room. No refund.
I booked and paid online for. When I tried calling them several times to confirm my arrival they did not answer, the phone just goes to voicemail. I tried emailing them and they dont respond, just quick to take your money online! When I arrived there at Bayside Hotel Suites in Durban on 6 June 2025 I was told that all their rooms are fully booked. I was left stranded in Durban CBD at night and I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK. This hotel contravenes basic South African Consumer Protection laws! When you call all their numbers they don't answer back and the hotel receptionist was so awfully rude, showed zero Empathy!

Lethabong Lodge, a jewel in LImpopo.
I visited this lodge on the weekend of6 to 8 September 2024 with my caravan. The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff were amazing. No staff member would pass you without a heartful warm greeting. The caravan stand was quite large, and the bathroom/kitchen unit allocated to each stand, well maintained and clean. Cleaners also came and clean these facilities as well as our dishes, every morning. The swimming pools and waterslides are in excellent condition and there are lifeguards that keep a watchful eye to ensure that guests using these are safe. I want to compliment the owners and staff of Lethabong Lodge with their outstanding hospitality towards their guests and I am looking forward to in future, visit you again.

Worst, worst, worst of the worst accomodations in this country
The worst of the worst ever lodge I have ever seen or been to. No, order noisy, no respect for clientele, no consideration whatsoever. I had check out a 23:15 just merely 4hrs after checking in and go sleep in the car after paying R615 for night because it was impossible to sleep. What made it worse is that I am not Zulu and that staff to not assist in whatsoever way, instead they looked down on and never any of my concern seriously and they were not bothered whether I leav or not. They refused to give me details of the manager or anything to that effect. I paid for room I could not use . Simple because I am not a Zulu origin. Never will I ever , ever sleep nor anyone I'm associated with. Infect this place need to be closed down because you cannot run a tarven and a hotel/lodge in the same premises.

TRAP OF A "LODGE"
Completely misleading and horrible. Only did they not inform me of their move of address and also did not confirm the way their rooms/"lodge" is arranged. Sharing bathroom, sharing kitchen. NO privacy at all. Their were people making noise, intoxicated people roaming the property. Totally felt unsafe and had no sleep whatsoever. Kids running around, crying. This gives "DevilsDorp" a new meaning. If you like Brothels, this is the place to stay!

Disappointment at Beyside 116
My girlfriend and I have been going to Beyside 116 for a very long. Today we were told that we cannot book a room because my girlfriend is a squirter. What must she do if she is born that way? I'm very disappointed and hurt that an establiment such as Beyside would say such a thing. I started using them long time ago, back when they had ****ty beds but I never said anything, but they have the decency to tell us this bull****.

Pathetic Racist Place
The worst place to be in. Black owned yet racist to other blacks. They surely think black people do not afford their creepy rooms with dirty bathrooms. Phila Zulu who claims to be one of the family members is worse. She would make a show in front of other customers shouting at you because she feels you haven't paid. They lie about having wifi when there's none. There's always loud noise and if you complaining they tell you the other customers paid too. This is a 0.5 star place. Upon check out they would make u park by the gate to confirm that you haven't stolen anything. Worse place ever.

Left out in the cold
So I booked a room online. Bayside Pinetown accepted my reservation and yet when I got there I was told it was fully booked. No empathy whatsoever was shown. The lady in reception calls this other guest house to check availability. She does not not care how I get there or even I have funds to pay for another guest house since Bayside still sits with my money. Long story short, I was left out in the cold. No one has made contact with me since Sunday.
