Horrible service after sales amd service from Benoni citi vw / Mastercars. Our car went in for a oil leak ( black oil / engine oil ) When we took the car back to Mastercars it took 2 weeks to repair the car and work was done on the rear main seal ( gearbox that takes red oil ) After receiving the car back they said the oil was dripping and is comming from the belly plates, it will be cleaned. Took the car and the next day it was leaking more oil ( black engine oil ) We went to our booked holiday and took the car back for the same oil leak from the engine area. We have received a call information us its the tapped cover gasket / seal that has a issue and will be replaced. Its another 2 weeks down the line and only received a call to inform on the issue, not a call on updates of estimated date on collection. Once a car is off their floor and sale is done, the after service is horrible. I will not recommend the dealer to anyone. Shaun

I called in to make an appointment to service my car. The lady I spoke to was rude and had no patience. She insisted on me giving her the VIN number and I explained I'm driving can she try search for my info using my reg number which she said was not possible. I had to stop in the middle of the road to give her that info. My car was booked for the following day. I took it in at 7:30. By 12:50 when I decided to call them I hadn't heard anything from the service centre. My car was in for 15000 KMS service which is a minor one and shouldn't take that long. I was told my car had long been ready and that they tried calling me, when I asked on which number only to find out they had the wrong numbers but didn't bother to try the alternative number I gave the lady i made the appointment with. I asked them for pick up, I was told it's not possible at that moment as their driver's aren't available one is in delmas and the other in Pretoria stating they only have 2 drivers. I was told I'd be informed on when a driver would be available when I asked for an indication. A couple of minutes later I was called and asked for directions stating a technician will pick me up, who came 40mins later and it only took me 13 mins to get to them in the morning during traffic. To sum up my experience the driver played loud house music and drove at 130 was just the cherry on top. For a first time experience with VW South Africa as a whole I'm utterly disappointed and disgusted with the awful experience iv had.

Very disappointing, if the franchised dealers treat us just like the non franchised then where should we purchase? Picked up a car from the sales man David at master cars I signed OTP and paid a holding deposit on the 6th of June 2019, collected on the 11th of June 2019. Only to fined the vehicle with the following faults: - License Disc expired 2018/12/31 -Plastic sweet wrappers in the vehicle -spare wheel just thrown in the back and not fastened underneath the vehicle -Loose vehicle covers -steins all over the vehicle inside and seats (Some even looked like oil steins) -Scratches on the rear -Fuel was on empty

It breaks my heart that after buying the car that I loved on the 13th October 2017 at exactly 12:02 I am still waiting to enjoy the car. I took delivery of the car from Benoni citi vw dealership and drove to Polokwane(my home town and work town). My joy was short lived as on the 05 March 2018 the car was making rattling sound. The noise worsened and was accompanied by steering vibration and clicking squire noise on the rear suspension when going over speed humps. The vehicle(POLO TSI 1.2 GP COMFORTLINE) was booked in at VW Benoni citi (the selling dealership). Rattling concern was brought to attention of different VW approved dealership after approximately five months of ownership, this falls within the parameters of the implied six months warranty provision of section 56 subsection 2 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Although VW Benoni citi maintains that there are no mechanical defects on the said vehicle, the job card I have indicate that this concern has been investigated several times which is indicative of possible issue.

I am writing to express my frustrations with a recent experience I had at Benoni City VW. On Tuesday the 14th August 2018 I brought my car (2014 Polo TSI) in for a service at Benoni City VW for the first time. It was 105km minor service. First, I was a bit disappointed when I was told that a driver cannot drop me off at work in JHB city. I was then dropped off at home in Gelukdal which is 21.6 km from VW Benoni City. Later in the day a service adviser Mavis Manganyi called me to give me an update regarding the service and the findings. We then concluded the conversation regarding what can and what cannot be done on the car. At exactly 16:48 Mavis called me to tell me that the car is ready for a pick up and ended a conversation. She didn’t asked me whether I needed a pick up or how I am going to get to VW Benoni city since I was dropped off at home. I then got a lift from someone to take me to VW Benoni City to my shock that THE DOORS WERE CLOSED AND MAVIS WAS GONE FOR THE DAY. The security guard got hold of her mobile number & I called her and asked how on earth does she leave with my car inside the workshop and without handing over my car. The sales manager who was still in the building spoke to her & she drove back. She walked in & gave me such A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, VERY IMPOLITE AND SHOUTED AT ME FOR BEING ANGRY AT HER. I couldn’t believe that she was shouting at me as a customer and the lady at the sales environment also witness the shocking site. Surely Mavis Manganyi does not know WHO THE CUSTOMER IS and have no respect for her job to leave a customer’s car inside the workshop after calling me at 16:48. How on earth was I supposed to get to Benoni City VW if she called me at that time of the day. Clearly she needs to go for customer service training and learn how to treat and value customers. She lacks knowledge and s****s to perform her duties. I honestly would never recommend VW Benoni City to anyone and would never set my foot ever again there due to this pathetic service. I suggested that one of them visit Barons Bruma and experience best customer service there and they will feel DIGUSTED by VW Benoni City. Dissappointed VW Customer Regards Bonisiwe Maseko

I am so disappointed. I bought a car at Benoni Citi VW not so long ago last year 2017. I went to go service my car at Lindsay saker Fourways after they had confirmed my Vin Number and car registration number and booked my car for service. After taking my booked car for service, It was found that my new car registration number had been fraudulently duplicated, and someone had already taken "my car"for service, however with a different vin number and had already "been to service". It was then confirmed that I no longer have a service plan whereas I had been told my car is purchased with a service plan.
