Worst experience I have ever encountered. Maybe your dealership is only for people that are buying new car with credit. I have never been so 😡 ****ed. Got my money and not delivering the car no matter is a used car. Everyday it's a story. I'm really disappointed and ask myself why did I go there.

Volkswagen Bidvest Acardia **** to me about the contract. I bought a car from them and told them I wanted a fixed rate, but a person named Surprise told me the contract will initially come as a linked rate and then a fixed rate later. Weeks passed, and I called them; they promised to sort it out with the bank and that I would have the fixed rate contract within 48 hours; however, I did not receive anything. I called Surprise, and he informed me that the bank's vehicle division is experiencing technical difficulties. Then I called the bank and was surprised to discover that the dealership **** to me, there is no such thing as a contract starting with a linked rate. Now they're not returning my calls. I would not suggest this dealership; they are ****mers.

On the 8th of January, I transported my 2021 Polo Vivo vehicle to Bidvest McCarthy VW Arcadia for a check-up due to a power loss experienced while driving. The vehicle was still under guarantee at the time. Regrettably, I have yet to receive a comprehensive diagnosis of the issue to date. I was charged R2000 to examine the vehicle, a fee that I assert should have been covered by the guarantee. As of writing, four days have passed since I relinquished possession of the vehicle, and I have no alternative means of transportation, resulting in a loss of income.

I bought a car in september on the dealer ship and they told me its in a good condition,they reviewed it and when i released that my brickpads are finished and i bought the car in september ,i saw the problem october i told the dealer about the issue.the manger said he can not replace them i must buy my own brick pads.the warehouse manager said they will not reach another six month, but later on changed his mind and he said if i drive carefully it will reach the next service which is in 12 months,im really sad because i bought a demo car i not expecting to be expending so much money on it already.i feel like the dealership was not honest with me

Took my car to Bidvest VW Arcadia today 31/10/2023 for a service. Can honestly say that the service is received was the worst ever. The service advisor James Viviers doesn’t give updates nor answer his phone. The driver never showed up, Ended walking to collect my car from the dealership after trying to contact him 10 times. he didn’t even have the decency to give a invoice to sign and just ignored me as i set there waiting for my car. Will never set my foot back at the dealership again or advise anyone to go there.

Took my car to Bidvest VW Arcadia today 31/10/2023 for a service. Can honestly say that the service is received was the worst ever. The service advisor James Viviers doesn’t give updates nor answer his phone. I am honestly not happy with above company especially the service department and the guys name is James. I took my car for service for the first time and my kilometres were 75k after that he told me there’s no need to bring the car for service at 90k we can bring it at 105k. Now my car it’s due for service he is being rude and telling me that I don’t have proof of him saying what I said and now my service company doesn’t want to pay for the service cause I missed the 90k service. I am honestly disappointed ☹️ on how James is treating his customers and how he spoke to us, I hope I will get help.

I am honestly not happy with above company especially the service department and the guys name is James. I took my car for service for the first time and my kilometres were 75k after that he told me there’s no need to bring the car for service at 90k we can bring it at 105k. Now my car it’s due for service he is being rude and telling me that I don’t have proof of him saying what I said and now my service company doesn’t want to pay for the service cause I missed the 90k service. I am honestly disappointed ☹️ on how James is treating his customers and how he spoke to us, I hope I will get help.

On 20th of December 2023, I took my vehicle for service at McCarthy Vw Arcadia major service was done, with both the water pump belt and cambelt replaced. Sunday the 5th of March 2023 started experiencing erratic idling, have the vehicle booked for repairs on the 6th for the 13th of March 2023. Their findings were a broken steel pipe on intake to turbocharger. Unfortunately the manager refuses to replaced the pipe, citing it's rusted. During a major service someone broke the pipe whilst replacing the belt for water pump and concealed it with insulation tape which of cause started loosing adhesive properties due to heat and sucked on more air and creating moisture which resulted in the rust he picked up on the steel pipe. the only hands that worked on the vehicle it's theirs, I haven't taken the vehicle anywhere for any repair whatsoever since the major service. https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZtJ8Tr5Znj0&feature=shares
