I have just made a claim for my leaking geyser, in which under my policy contract, i do not have exclusions. Now the plumberr came out to assess the damage and tried to tell me few things that i didnt mention and prior to making a claim the geyser was assessed privately by myself. The geyser itself is leaking terribly and not warming up my water also the pipes attached to it are leaking. also my insurance is telling me that they do not cover the leaking pipes but there are attached to the geyser. This company is the worst as their plumber doesnt want to listen what the issue is and make their own assumptions. they do not deserve to even have a star for them. they are terrible. I should have went with my private plumber for this and everything was going to be sorted.

I recently made a claim for a leaking geyser which unfortunately after assessment the plumbers said it needs to be replaced and for that I needed to pay R2000,00 excess no problem that was arranged. I called the appointed company Big6 Build and Plumbing. I explained to them that there's no one at home during the week only on weekend and the reception lady (Ivy) said it's fine they will come Saturday. They came Saturday the 12th October replaced the geyser and they tested and said everything was fine. Since then the geyser doesn't work we don't get hot water, the tap will pour a litre or less of hot water and then cold water and then it stop no water comes out whilst doing that there's air pressure that comes out. I am not sure if the geyser receive water or what. My attempt to reach out to the company in question has been in vain. All of a sudden the plumbers are not available to work on weekends however before I could pay the R2000,00 excess they "can come at your most convenient time" Ivy said they will only be available after 4 weeks (In not so many words that Ivy lady told me to go to hell). Even after I told her this is unacceptable after a day of picking up the problem, when i told her i will have to a complaint she said "its up to you Sir". It's been a week now with no hot water. We were better of with a leaking geyser atleast we had hot shower and bath. I have small kids and this is worrisome to me. The don't care attitude of the reception or is the secretary it's scary.

I had a burst geyser over the easter weekend. Big 6 Plumber and Build were assigned to assist with the damage to my daughers room. This contractor came out to my home when I was not there. Did an evaluation and came with different doors to the existing one. They also caused further damage which they denied liability and said it was pre existing damage. They are not upstanding contractors. I would avoid dealing with them.

Pathetic service to say the least. They never keep to their time and lack basic communication s****s. How Outsurance would recommend them is beyond me. They have arrived late three times for their appointment and I had to turn them back one time cause I also needed to go to work. I told them to come tomorrow and was told they have been overworked and are too tired to come work (install the basin) on a Saturday. Now that is service on another level. I would not recommend them to anyone but maybe they choose who they go out for best in terms of service delivery. Outsurance tried to call them and follow up but they did not respond to their calls as well. I hope they don't get paid for this kind of service. Basically i now have had to wait for almost a month to have my basin and tiles fixed after my claim.
