Good day BMW South Africa. I hope that this DM finds you good. I am very concerned with your after sales. I have been driving BMW from 2013 F30 and currently have a 2023 G20 Mzansi Edition and M3 Competition G80 M xDrive in my possession . 1. Your tires mainly Pirelli’s are no where to be found to a point that your dealers also do not keep stock of them. The question begs, in case of an emergency what do your BMW customers do? Do they bolt/uber (ehail) to their next destination because you do not have stock of tires and i have to order to only get the tire tomorrow? 2.On my way to the Eastern Cape and i hit a pothole do i need to book a hotel/guest house at Bethlehem so that tomorrow i can be close to that nearest BMW where my car is taken to all because that all your dealers have no tires in stock? That makes driving a BMW an inconvenience. 3. I do not even want to start with your BMW On call assistance that has no help. Yesterday i had a tyre problem where the M3 with only 5000km’s on it had a tire burst (no pothole or bubble on the tire) on the N12 near Rondebuilt Boksburg. I advised my wife to drive with the flat tire to Boksburg BMW hoping that she will get assistance, mind you we reside in Witbank which is roughly 100km’s apart. BMW Boksburg like all the other BMW Dealers did not have the Pirelli tyre. I then called BMW on call to assist with a loan wheel (which i have always been assisted with the F30 and once where i fought with the G20 to have the loan wheel). The BMW on call agent was quick to say that there is no loan wheel and cannot assist. I then asked for the Manager. The Manager was also very quick to tell me that BMW on Call is not an “insurance policy” and since the car is at the dealership then i will not be helped and my wife will be left stranded at Boksburg and we must see to ourselves how we going to get her back at Witbank. Mind you that i have had BMW on call driving from Lydenburg MP to come assist me in Kriel with a loan wheel back in 2017 but now all of a sudden that services is redundant. The question than begs if the dealership has no tire spares, the car is broken down on tire puncture and BMW on call cannot give out a loan wheel then what exactly needs to happen? The call to BMW ON call happened yesterday (22/01/2026 at around 14h00. Right now at this very moment, i am disgusted with BMW and actually asking myself why i am driving a BMW after 15 years of loyalty to this best brand. The after sales leave a bitter taste honestly. Your swift response will be highly appreciated.

I want to applaud DALY BMW in klerksdorp with the assistance they gave me on 15.10.2025. I called Jeanette on her cell phone and told her that I was stuck in Flamwood, klerksdorp and I needed help. The call took less than 5 minutes and she organized assistance and the technicians were with me in the 20 minutes. Zakes and Bushy from DALY BMW were very helpful. I was assisted In less than 45 minutes. They advised to book my car in to be analyzed and I will do that. Thank you Jeanette, Makes and Bushy

I was unfortunate to have my tyre burst late at night, 50 km from nearest town. Called bmw assist, they could not find me a tyre to loan. However, the lady that assisted me on the phone was exceptional. Unfortunately I forgot her name but she kept checking on me until me and my car were in a place of safety.

#BIG BRAND BULLYING# Its all about profit and self gain - !!! Very Disappointing Service from BMW South Africa My brand new BMW 4 series didnt want to start when at Oliver Tambo Airport on Sunday evening . They took over an hour and a half to reach me to try and assist me with my problem. I still had to drop of the other 2 passengers, one in jhb and the other in Pretoria and then drive all the way to Rustenburg. BMW on call only arrived after curfew time - 22:00 . If BMW On Call had responded timeously but after waiting 45 minutes more son had to phone again - the lady that assisted, Maureen was unhelpful, lacked empathy snd understanding of situation. It appears were were a nuisance call to her. She seemed “brain dead” as she had no understanding of the situation and treated us with total disrespect and disregard!!!Bmw On call tajevtheir time to respond due to their incompetent call centre agents and then refuse to pay our accommodation and rather advise my son to break the law of the country and drive home after curfew. How ridiculous - is BMW above the law and will they give me protection if I am arrested for breaking level 3 regulations? Bmw employees lack recognition of the lockdown regulations and there attitude “ dont make your problem ours” stinks!! Dont be fooled by the “Wish list” that BMW on call offers - you will be stranded and left on your own. Bmw so called service is badly misrepresented abd misleads customers. Although the BMW cars are awesome to drive, their after sales and customer care is pathetic I’m clearly rethinking and reconsidering if I will ll ever purchase the brand again!! Bmw should hang their heads in shame!! Just a month ago we bought 2 brand new BMW’s? Is this they way they reward loyal customers?? If they carry conducting business in this manner - they will destroy the BMW brand totally and eventually be no more!!

I wish all service providers could be as efficient and helpful as BMW on call is. The service I received on Friday from BMW on call was world class. From a lady at the call centre to the driver - Mduduzi. Both these individuals made sure I was safe, and went as far as making arrangements for a courtesy car on that very same day, I was driven to the airport to collect the car. This level of service is very rare in SA. This is one of the reasons I’ve stayed with this Brand. The after sales service is outstanding. Keep up the good work.

Firstly, I got a tyre puncture and contacted BMW, I got no assistance, but rather I was referred to my insurance. I was very disappointed because that was my first experience, compared to others that was the worse service one could ever experience. Secondly, I took a car to the service recently, but it was clear that tyre monitor was not functioning. This almost cost my life because I relied on monitor system after realising that car was loosing control, I kept driving till my destination, that when I was told that, BMW can't help me therefore I should contact my insurance. BMW must stop deceiving us knowing that they won't fulfil thier commitments.

what a let down from BMW Assist. I was stuck with my 2 year old in the middle of no where. They took 5 hours to send someone. Deeply disappointed and will definitely will be changing from BMW.
