I would like to express my disappointment from your unsatisfactory level of service. I have expected much more from a prestigious and reputed company of your standard. I took my car in 2 weeks ago to BMW Constantia Claremont as it had a water leak. After doing diagnosed it was established there was a oil leak as well although I took the car for a service 3 weeks prior to that and hardly drove the car but nothing was picked up. As my warranty is with Liquid Capital the paper work was forwarded to them. as I heard nothing further a day or 2 later I had to phone back and was informed that Liquid Capital need SMG tax number as there was a shift in ownership from Auric Auto To SMG. To date nothing has been forwarded to Liquid Capital. Can it really take almost 2 weeks for a piece of paper to be delivered from SMG head office? Every time I phone back the one party is blaming the other due to lack of interest. Companies are preaching about Treating customers fairly, however in this case its surely lacking, not even the service manager is responding. That is BMW Constantia for you once they sell you the car, then customer care flies out by the window

The sales side of Auric Auto are great to deal with but find somewhere else to get your BMW serviced. On a recent visit with my vehicle they spent over R12000 without any consent on my side. When I refused to pay I was escorted to the dealer principal's office (Matthew James) for a "discussion". It was very clear that I wasn't getting my keys back without presenting my credit card. In fact they threatened to "undo" the repair if I didn't pay, even though they accepted their breakdown of communication as the source of the problem. They didn't need to worry about undoing it as the "fix" that they outsourced didn't solve the problem that I took it in for anyway. After 4 weeks of haggling there's no sign of an apology or refund - just excuses. Very disappointing for one of the top vehicle brands.

My journey from 06/06/2019 to 12/09/2019 with the same problem in the car but every time taking it to a dealership new charges but the problem does not go away or get fixed. 1. On 15/03/19 took the car to Auric Auto BMW Claremont for oil service and the car was serviced according to the service provider and as I am a student who was traveling from Saldanha to Simon’s town as my fiancé was working at Simon’s town. The Friday of 15/03/19 car was fetched from BMW by a friend and he took it to my fiancé in Simons Town and I arrived later than Friday as I was gone leave with it Sunday. On the 19 of May Sunday, I was going back to Saldanha, the oil light came on and I was surprised as the car it was from service, then when I reached Saldanha I stopped bought oil replenished the car. The 5th of June as was traveling to Pretoria with my fiancé then at Springfontein 80km away from Bloemfontein the oil light again came on we stopped at the garage n poured. 2. We slept at the Kroonstad garage, we drove to JHB on the 6th of June, then went to Brits Jericho. As I was driving to Rustenburg, the Drive train sign popped up on the screen, in the morning I took it to BMW Rustenburg as it was shaking now, on the 8th they diagnosed it and it was released on the 13th then went to Jericho on the 15th for a wedding. On the 16 again drive train came on again on the 17 Monday public holiday I took it to BMW Rustenburg again which it stayed there from 17-21, I got the car Friday 21 and left for Cape Town. In Beaufort West the oil light came on, we arrived in cape town I went to Auric Auto I told them about what had happened they said I must bring the car to be checked to rule out if the service that was done in March, if it has nothing to do with it, then they diagnosed the car with something else in July now the 8th. Something about the oil light coming on while the oil is fine something was replaced. 3. The Car needs brake fluid services in August I called them asking how come you did not pick up the car will soon need brake fluid I was told others stories. It was scheduled for the appointment of brake fluid on 15th August two quotation were send to me via email but the final amount was 11 thousand extra which was not communicated to me and they refused to give my wife the car saying if the money is short they cannot help her, we had to pay. 4. On the 5 September from Fishoek, I was traveling with my wife to Pretoria, when I reached Beaufort West the oil was low but the light was off they switched off the oil light, from there I drove 450 km and check the oil and pour the oil until reaching Pretoria. On the 12 of September, the drive train light on the car popped on the screen and the car started shaking I called Auric Auto BWM Claremont and the service manager told to tow the car to the nearest dealership, since the car was in Jericho I towed the car to Zambesi BMW dealership. Zambesi BMW told diagnosed the car and said the engine of the car is being damaged for some time now it needed replacement of the engine. I told them Auric Auto BMW Claremont was the one u have been fixing the car all this time. 5. I called BMW SA and to ask for assistance concerning the matter they open the case and investigated which was the 12/09/2019 and I kept calling to check the status of the investigation I was told a gentleman by the name of Titus was handling the case. He told me BMW SA cannot help me with the repairs of the car, as the car needs to be repaired I should try to contact the ombudsmen of the motor industry or take the legal route. All these services I was paying cash and the total amount is R79, 407. Now the Auric auto does not want to pay for the repairs as Zambesi called me with an update after a week the car was there and they said the car needs a new engine. The last repairs done by Auric Auto BMW Claremont in Cape Town cost me R56,400 and they said Drive train will never come again 1 week later it was back. Ombudsmen failed to assist me because they said I failed to provide them with technician reports and I send them an email informing them technician reports are at Auric Auto I only have payment proof of all the repairs done. The Zambesi BMW was helpful and professional and the technician pointed out the problems which led to the car needing a new engine. 6. Hello peter can u kindly assist me to get my car fixed by Auric Auto BMW Claremont dealership or to be refunded the money for the last repair which costs R56, 400, please, I am without a car for 9 months now.

I decided to purchase a second hand BMW from Auric auto Cape Town. Thinking that this is a BMW dealership the vehicles they sell will be in good condition. I spoke to Raees Martin who is the second hand sales person. He sent me pictures of the vehicle which looked in very good condition. We went over the car on the phone before delivery and the only issue that had been mentioned was the clear coat that was peeling on the front right bumper and the front left mat that was missing from the vehicle which he said he will replace. When I received the vehicle I didnt have a chance to inspect it until the weekend which was within the seven day that I had received the vehicle. I went through the vehicle and found that the smash and grab that I payed for was not done correctly, there were bubbles and holes on all windows. The break light inside the vehicle was coming off. The back left tail light was loose as well. The front of the vehicle was resprayed. I sent emails within the seven days to the sales person with regards to all the faults on the vehicle. I received no response from Auric auto, I further advised vai email that I would like to cancel the deal and I am no long interested in keeping the vehicle. Raees said they cannot and were willing to fix it. I took it to a BMW approved panel beater and got a quote of R20000 and Raees said it was too expensive to fix. I told them that let me choose another vehicle. After about a week the sales person got back to me with much delay, they showed me a few cars. I chose a vehicle and kept asking are there any issues with the vehicle and he kept saying I am not sure. When the deal got close he then decided to check the system and tell me that the vehicle was in accident. I decided to choose another vehicle and that vehicle was damaged as well. I there after decided to take legal action and got a lawyer to sort the issue out. The lawyer issued a letter of cancellation to Auric auto. The dealer principle refused to take the car back. If Auric auto was honest enough to advise me on the condition of the vehicle I would have never purchased the vehicle. I am really frustrated and will not deal with another BMW dealership again. Dont deal with Auric auto. They sell accident damaged vehicles and they are abunch of lairs.
