Car was taken to dealer on a Tuesday and later that afternoon told it would need to be kept potentially until Friday that same week. Between the communication of being told of the time frame and the promised pick up day (Friday) there was no communication of progress/status On the Friday, I call in to follow up on status of work, only to be told that the service consultant (Zukile) that was dealing with my case, is on training until Monday and that my case was part of the handover to a fellow consultant (Wayne). I had called in twice to ask for feedback and promised I'd get feedback, only for 2hrs to pass, without any contact. I took it upon myself to uber to the dealership to find out. Wayne said he did not get any handover of my case nor did he get a request for a call back. Additionally, the parts that were supposed to be fitted have not all arrived. The parts were supposedly only arriving on the Monday (supposedly at midday). Wayne having explained everything, consultated his CRM (customer relations manager), who just reiterated the issue, with no real resolution. Only a "sorry, its out of our hands" was communicated. Furthermore, the CRM then mentioned that there were no curtesy vehicles available (which i dont believe, and sounds like a preferential thing) and offered that a driver take me home instead I had to wait for roughly 45min for the driver to arrive, with no real updates from anyone of an ETA Needless to say, I will not be returning to the dealership, even though the car was purchased and serviced there DISAPPOINTING!

The service we received from BMW Century City was outstanding and in particular from Candice Roelf who received us and then SAADIQAH GIERDIEN who could not have been kinder nor more efficient. Our Mini Cooper S had broken down literally outside BMW CENTURY CITY .....we managed to "limp in" and arranged with Candice that we could leave the car there to be looked at as soon as they had capacity which was only a few days later. SAADIQAH contacted me regularly to keep me informed as to the progress, problem and a quote to repair. As we were about to leave Cape Town for the Eastern Cape I accepted the quotes and gave the go ahead to proceed. SAADIQAH handled everything, told me to go off on holiday and leave everything to her. Upon our return we collected the car, spotlessly cleaned and perfectly repaired. We received excellent service from everyone one at this Centre and SAADIQAH deserves high credit as being exemplary in her Customer service.

I unfortunately am not happy with SMG BMW Century City. I have never expected poor service from Bmw. I am shocked and very unhappy with them. It is a 118i F21 AT My Bmw was booked in 3 months ago for drivetrain malfunction. So they ordered brand new fuel injector from Germany. I took 3 weeks for it to arrive and the car was already there for 1 week so it took 1 month and i got my bmw back. I had the car for a day and same problem again, the bmw went back to them and now 2 months later the bmw is still there and i still don't have my car. A total of 3 months now at SMG and i am not happy with this. I keep on popping in every Friday but I don't really see or hear anything from SMG. They say they will call me back and they will keep me updated but unfortunately they are absolutely useless!! I need my car back asap!! I am paying monthly for my car at the moment and i don't have my car at all. 3 Months total so far!!!!

2 weeks ago I took my car in at SMW Century City as it had issues with malfunctional sensors. I booked the car in, dropped the keys as per usual... didnt sign any papers or nothing like that the car was taken to be looked at by Technicians. I had dropped off my daughter at Creche with her phone in the car who usully leaves it at the back seat. When she got off at creche I took the phone and put it in the back pocket of the front passenger seat. The car was inspected and tested the sensors with the service adviser and the technician and then when I got home I realised that the phone was no longer there, I called it and it was already switched off. So someone at BMW must have taken the phone and to date it is still off. I was advised by BMW that they will look at cameras and fastforward there was no feedback and I kept following up and eventully I was told that they could not find the phone even on their cameras while the car went to their technicians and to their car wash. Nonetheless they do not want to take any responsibility for the phone and told me thats why they make people sign the liability waiver but I didnt sign any such docs, nor was I even told that the valuables could be stolen as I had left some values in the car before?! Fastforward I had to spend almost R600 on a replacement phone cause of this no-longer trustworthy branch whom I am having to really evaluate my relationship with going forward!!! I am utterly disgusted by their behavior couple with no accountability!!! Choose wisely if you go there!!!
