Very upset with HGPF
I'm really shocked by Borwa provident fund. I app**** for my hard earned money since September 2025 and I am still waiting for my payout when you call them they tell you the fund is on payment stages when you emailed them they don't respond. I contacted my employer and they emailed them as well but the same answer payment stages. I can't give this company 5 star after been treated this way. My balance showed that the fund is withdrew. Now I think to escalate the matter to the relevant organization.

EXTREME POOR CLIENT SERVICE
Its a pity employees dont get to choose their own provident fund, the service is horrible and speaking to a supervisor serves no purpose irrespective of the the stipulated time frames. From 60 days according to the Court Order to 120 days and the supervisor says they will try and speed up the process as if they doing a favour. The bad reviews here say a lot about below poor client services, at one stage my number was blocked by the rude receptionist and for your information............ THEIR SERVICE IS WORSE THAN HELL!! Cant wait to wrap up the claim and never set a foot in their business N***!

Its a pity employees dont get to choose their own provident fund, the service is horrible and speaking to a supervisor serves no purpose irrespective of the the stipulated time frames. From 60 days according to the Court Order to 120 days and the supervisor says they will try and speed up the process as if they doing a favour. The bad reviews here say a lot about below poor client services, at one stage my number was blocked by the rude receptionist and for your information............ THEIR SERVICE IS WORSE THAN HELL!! Cant wait to wrap up the claim and never set a foot in their business N***!

Mxm not helpful but taking advantage
This people they are taking my father for a ride ...my dad may be illiterate but we are here to assist but they really taking him for a ride I hate their services as if it was a white person I am quite sure they were going to treat them with respect but because it's a black person mxm I am passed we all are by how they do things....when you call Karabo she says this and when you call Tshego she says this kore it's all round and round as if we at the creche but at the end of the day that's my dad's funds....

Bad Service I Got.
Why do people need to wait for to long yet Old mutual has sent payment to you guys . The service is bad so bad..it's been more than 6months yet no payments.. Pay my money as you got it from old mutual so why you dragging to pay me or do you guys steal people's money haha ahhh.... fix your things or if i don't get my money by tomorrow I am taking that step of gettingvEx-Repo involved.

Borwa is the best administration which is 100% owned by hgpf trust me
I was a representative of an employee in the restaurant, members joined hgpf on the 01st May 2021, on the 02nd May 2021 a members child died, and in according to their product sold to them, the child was covered for funeral at an amount of R25 000. Without a cent paid by the member and employer, the child was buried fully with payment done within 7 days and thanks to Nolubabalo Masilana who demonstrated care during the process

They do not pay back provident fund money
I have emailed Bulelani the fund Manager in Pe many times. He responded saying the money was paid intoy account. He also gave me a date. When I checked my bank statement there was no money paid in from them. I have sent him the statement. Never heard from him again. I called the number in the PE office they don't pick up thir phones. Emailing them has been since 2020. When I did get through to Borwa,the lady said she will sent me a statement of money due to me but she has never sent me a statement.

Terrible terrible service . No one wants to take responsibility
Don't wanted to press any star ! Can't comment without star ! Court order claim submitted 30 days again. Received email documents received submitted to claims department. Followed up nothing received . even after my attorney sent mails and documents were re sent - they just reply will advise next. I want a positive reply now ! Not next week. Payment needs to be done !

Followed up nothing received . even after my attorney sent mails and documents were re sent - they just reply will advise next. I want a positive reply now ! Not next week. Payment needs to be done !
