I bought a necklace from Capeglow with my late sons name on it for my wife for Christmas. It took forever to get here, when I asked if it was coming from China, I was told it comes from Capetown. It was advertised as stainless steel, but now less than 2 weeks later the coating has come off and it's brass or copper or something. I paid over R780.00 for a piece of *******, and now they don't reply to my email.

Hi, Just collected an Uber-placed order from you and Haloumi is missing!!! Yet when we collected the order we asked the staff to double check it. The order had been placed for a 3.45 collection. Worst part, when we try to phone you, the number you advertised doesn't work at all! Why are you guys so disorganised? (Unfortunately this goes to prove that we sometimes blame Uber drivers for the wrongdoings of the store, restaurant or supplier. I didn't choose the delivery option after reading some scary stories about Uber delivery drivers... So, today ee decided to collect the order ourselves. My, my, my!) In all honesty, the rest of the food was, firstly, still very hot! Thanks to the awesome packaging. Secondly, it was amazingly delicious, even the chips.... It was in fact a glorious meal. However, all it takes is some lazy oversight to ruin an otherwise good experience. I describe it as lazy because before collecting the order we asked them to double check it before handover.... And you know, as soon as we noticed this, we wanted to avoid writing a complaint when the service people had already forgotten about the order. So, we decided to phone and inform management so they could resolve this dispute before end of shift because once everybody goes home, the next day they will likely not remember that they forgot to include a small easy to overlook snack item. But all the numbers listed for this branch, I mean, on Google, on their own website, on the Uber app don't work at all. That could have made it unnecessary to come and waste time and energy typing up this review. What a pity. But this is also what I mean by a 'disorganised lot'.

I ordered the prawns with rice via Uber Eats, and the meal is meant to come with a sauce that truly makes the dish—especially at a price of R297.70 each. Unfortunately, both meals arrived with no sauce at all, leaving the prawns and rice completely bland. For a meal for two costing R600, this was a huge disappointment. I would not recommend ordering from Cappello the Glen through Uber Eats. It felt like a complete waste of money and I will not do it again.

Went to Cappello Emarald Casino this evening. Worse experience at a restaurant. We ordered steak egg and chips and 300g rump. Both medium. After 40 minutes both orders were terrible. Both orders were very well done,cold and cold not even cut the Steaks.. after complathey did new steaks. They were raw. We canceled the order. Our drinks even took like 30 minutes to arrive. They were not busy. It looked like the waitresses and bar man were all intoxicated. She could not even understand our order. Even the drinks were wrong. Pathetic service

Cappello at emerald casino served us a hake fish with a terrible smell. It was literally rotten. Had a small bite and suffered terrible stomach cramps. Because I thought maybe that's just how it supposed to smell. Very bad experience.

Cappello, Glen Balad, Glen Marais, Kempton Park. I ordered 2 cappuccinos. One for me and the other for my guest. Then I looked at the breakfast menu and ordered 2 breakfasts. These breakfasts include cappuccinos in their price. Instead of including the cappuccinos I ordered as those which come with the breakfast they proceeded to charge me for the cappuccinos seperately. So I ended up paying for 4 cappuccinos. The 2 we had and the ones which come with the breakfast. I should NOT have been charged EXTRA for the cappuccinos as cappuccinos are included in the breakfast. The waiter should have used his brain. When someone order a cappuccino and then orders a breakfast which includes a cappuccino in the price. Any right minded person and restaurant would consider the cappuccinos he ordered as those which are included in the breakfast. Is this greed or just incompetence?
