I ordered a music box on the 11th of August 2022. I received the box and was very impressed with all the instruments inside until they started to break. I at the time had a 9-month-old who is now almost 11 months. I am sure you know that children this age put everything in their mouths. Out of the 8 things in the box, only 3 are still functional and I have taken them away from my child out of the fear that he would choke. The Charms came off this instrument and I found it in his mouth this could have been a severe choking hazard The shaker un*****ed, and he can't play with it anymore as the beads come out, which is a choking hazard. The instrument below the stick came out the bottom so It is also broken and he can no longer play with it. The egg shaker split in half after he had played with it and the beads came out again. This again is a serious choking hazard. The harmonica after one session of putting it in his mouth the metal collapsed and now it is unfunctional. I am concerned as these pose choking hazards but I am also sure that you are aware that musical instruments are not ornaments and are not meant to be enjoyed gently as then they don't make a sound. I was disappointed as I then also signed up for your monthly box subscription and received a snail that is like a slinky within the first day the head came off. I am disappointed in the quality of the toys I have received. I cannot leave my boy alone for a moment with any of the toys for fear he will choke or they will break. I have spent a lot of money on these boxes and I am disappointed that many of the toys I have had to chuck away.

Great customer service and friendly people. I have the essential box subscription and I always get more than what they promised! Some of their other items are also priced competitively. You get far more in value than what you pay for monetary. Would definitely recommend!

They sent me 20 emails in 1 morning to remind me about a item left in my cart. I brought this to their attention, they didn't acknowledge my feedback or apologize. Instead they sent me a 1 word email acknowledging my request to cancel my subscription. Arrogant lot if you ask me. Pity because some of their boxes are great

They sent me 20 emails in 1 morning to remind me about a item left in my cart. I brought this to their attention, they didn't acknowledge my feedback or apologize. Beautiful items for my child. From educational toys to blankets to bowls and s****s. These boxes really do grow with your baby. Highly recommend! Wonderful and kind staff with passion. Great way to spoil your little ones every month

I signed up for the toys and books subscription (for a year) and my 4th box never arrived. I have it a few days because I usually got an email from the courier at the very end of the month to say that the packages are on its way but this time that didn’t happen. I also didn’t get any emails from Charley’s Boxes to say that something might be wrong. After many missed emails, they finally responded (with attitude I’ll add. What business uses exclamation marks after every sentence to a client!?); saying that my items was involved in a hijack. No further move was made to suggest how they could fix the problem. Meanwhile, the 5th payment for boxes just went off and I still haven’t received the 4th. I politely asked for a refund and to cancel the subscriptions entirely. I don’t have patience for lack of communication and unprofessionalism. I totally understand if something goes wrong but don’t let me sit and wonder what’s up or chase you for answers. That’s not the kind of service I want to pay for.

I've had a 3 month only subscription with them. They automatically took it further and took off more than was agreed upon. They do not have an option on their website to cancel your subscription. Which is not acceptable. It's a battle to get to cancel my subscription with them. They did not ask nor confirm if they can renew the subscription.
