Telkom, D-Link & Compromised passwords. Telkom provided me with a new router Model DSL-G2562DG. I have had it for two weeks and the Admin password has been repeatedly hacked. The D-Link admin password should be the most secure. If it gets hacked as has been done to me tonight then that gives hackers access to the D-Link App that manages the D-Link router. My password was 14 digits. And still got hacked. Telkom needs to provide a more secure internet router. D-Link does not offer the right level of security.

I bought 20GB of data but they told me that I bought it for the wrong number but when they send screenshot the number is correct, so I guess that's the way of scamming people start by giving them the good service then boom they scam you. Don't bother yourself about this company and the customer service is not good as well

D-Link routers are to easily hacked and manipulated by those who wish to access your computer and give up your data to hackers. Even the most expensive D-Link routers in my experience can be repeated broken into and changing the password does not help. My Apple Mac repeatedly warns me that the D-Link password has been compromised. No sooner have i changed the password and a day or 2 later i get another warning from my Apple Mac telling me password has been compromised. I contacted the D-Link SA help line and they did infect say there is not much they can do about the problem. I paid R3,000.00 for a D-Link router.

Although Telkom sells the D-link Dwr-730 mobile hotspot modem at their stores, their support and how to connect to your telkom ftth account is a total waste of time..... do not even try to get support there. Instead, call D-link support for this product, and here I came across a real support person by the name of Sarel, who, withing a few minutes, identified the issue, and gave clear, easy to follow instructions on how to resolve the issue.

Instead, call D-link support for this product, and here I came across a real support person by the name of Sarel, who, withing a few minutes, identified the issue, and gave clear, easy to follow instructions on how to resolve the issue.

I would like to complain about D-link router support. We phoned about our router not being able to connect to the internet and receive insultingly rude service. I would never refer them to anyone ever again.

I bought a D-link Router extender DAP-1360 from Firsthop. After 9 months, but still under a 12-month guarantee, it started to intermittently lose signal. Firsthop advised me to take it back to Rectron and they send it to D-link for repairs. I was told that it will take 6-7 days for it to be repaired or replaced. 3 weeks later and after several calls to Rectron, I am still without a router. Could you please fix my problem now?

I wish to compliment D-LINK specifically Miguel for helping to get the DWR-730 working again. I was impressed by their friendliness, their timeously delivery and the consistency of the feedback on where they are at in the process. I certainly wish/hope that other organisations in South Africa would keep the same standard in customer service. As a side note, I sent this compliment using the device they had fixed for me. Thanks again.
