I recently applied for assistance with your company but due to the appaling service recieved by my very close friend and the neglect I am currently undergoing with your consultant Tapiwa who is now not getting back to me with regards to my cancelling my application and trying to address my dissatisfcation clearly indicates that your consultants are only interesyed in making thier sales targets and thats it. I do not want to subject myself to the trauma Tshwarelo went through ove rthe past 4 weeks with Tapiwa. I would like to be contacted the soonest and if not I will escalate this even further till I get heard by the debt counselling association or the ombudsman but somebody will listen.I would rather get assistance from another company that is actually in this business to rehabilitate people

This is about my 10th complain with absolutely no help from Debt busters, even after my complaint registered with the NCR and with the NCR informing me that the debt review status will be removed and I will be contacted by Debt busters, nothing. Not a single call nor any hekp to assist. In ut shell I applied for debt review in 2015/2016, a few months after debt review I was offered help and managed to get enough cash together to settle all my debts at once, I asked debt busters to please assist with the settlement figures, they then said they would assist but would charge me 30% on all the savings they manged to get for me, so what help was that. I waited for 3 weeks and again heard nothing.I had to call all my creditors and ask and plead to et settlement letters myself, which was almost impossible as they would not speak to me directly because I was under debt review,,, After almost 2 months of constant phone calls to my creditors I managed to settle the debt myself and save my 30% myself. Now all debt has been settled accept for Capitec Bank, as the bank wont assist me without a settlement until my debt review status is revoked. Debt busters wont remove the debt review until Capitec is paid but they want 30% of my savings on the settlement amount. HOW DO I WIN? As per the NCR - teh debt review against my name can be removed as the amount ousanding at Capitec is less than R40k and is not a homeloan. But debt busters refuse to have the debt review status lifted. In the beginning when I asked for my court papers I was given the run around for 3 months before they sent it to me. I have called on numerous occasions and no body can assist me, they keep putting me in contact with the team leader who cannot assist me either. She calls me back and has no solution to help me. I dont see why I need to pay 30% of a savings amount that I can get myself and save myself the 30%. I asked debt busters 8 months ago for a settlement on Capitec as full settlement so I can see what I can do and til today I have not receievd anything. The call centre cannot help me. My complaint logged with the NCR was done 3 months ago, I was informed that the NCR has spoken to Debt busters and I shoudl wait 21 Days for the debt review status to be lifted, today when I checked the Debt review status has not been lifted. When I log onto the debt review website (Smart cents) - none of my accounts that have been paid in full have been updated to paid in full, of which these paid up letters have been emailed over 3 times already. I would not suggest that any body signs up for debt review with the debt coucellors, when they need to sign you up, they will call everyday to convince you that they can help you. they promise to give you support and that when you ready they will help you with clearance and help you settle all your debt - Until the time comes, then you hear of the 30% charge and then you hear all the fine print they didnt inform you of. All the small details they conveniently forget to tell you in the beginning comes out when you really need the assistance.

This was teh worse decision I have ever made, as this company has not helped me in any way whats so ever.

And there is no one at there offices that can assist you - NO ONE

I took out Debt Review with Debt Busters in October 2016.

I was retrenched in November 2016 and managed to make two full payments to Debt Busters. I contacted them immediately after I was retrenched and the man dealing with my account said that I was not to worry. I could just wait until my UIF pad out and could carry on paying as normal after that, he also advised that I did not have to worry as I was protected by Debt Busters.

In February 2017 I was asked to complete a change of circumstances form and just to inform my creditors I had been retrenched. Immediately Wesbank came back pulling out of the debt review saying I could not be under debt review if unemployed and demanded the full arrears to be paid immediately. When I tried to get this resolved with Wesbank I was told that I was short R 200 on my legal fees so they could not complete the process of getting a court order in place. Not once did anyone say that I was short of R 200 and that a court order was not in place. My contract with Debt Busters states that the first two payments would be for legal fees and the rest would go to my creditors. It actually not my problem that they could not get the court order done in the first two payments.

I asked Debt Busters what I would need to do in order to get my Debt review process back on track. I was told I would need to bring all my creditors up to date on my own as well as pay the missed Debt review instalments. How exactly does this help me. I was following the advice of your office and now this has turned around and bitten me. When I reported this to the head of the department I was told My case is complicated and that I was in beech of the contract as I had missed instalments however Debt Busters is also in breech as they had not gotten the court order in place with the first two instalments as per there contact. They are completely refusing to take responsibility for this and now my car in the process of being reposed.

This cleaning company knowingly employ thieves, and will not take any responsibility for your loss. I am shocked to say she continues to let known thieves work for her with no remorse or concern for her clients possessions. Do not trust her or her staff in your home.

Good day

I cannot believe that these people rate them as the best as their service delivery is soooo poor. Incompitant staff, you cannot get hold of a manager or superior. They dont rectify the problem nor do they resolve the issuel, instead they close the call thinking it was resolved. They promise to get back to you, but nobody does. I find it hilarious that they rate themselves as the best.
