Electricians on call
We moved into out new shop and wanted to add plugs as well as have 2 replaced. As we were desperate I asked them to go ahead and do the job. They put wiring everywhere that looks like a 5 year old did it and one of the plugs is skew. When I asked why the plugs was skew and why they cant fix it I started getting threatening answers. I also asked why they didn’t use trunking? I was told that I should have asked if that was included in the quote. All of this terrible experience cost me R5000. What recourse do I have? If any?

Electricians on call

Electricians On Call
William Bilali from Electricians On call came to my premises to sort out a tripping problem I had with a pool pump he proceeded to tell it was damaged i asked him to remove it which he did then he went and turned off the power from the db board to the pool area I had the pump tested and found out it was not faulty I phoned Electricians On Call and explained it to them I wanted my power reinstated to the pool area and I was not going to pay because obviously he had made a mistake the electrician phoned me and told me to go to hell he was not going to help me I have tried phoning the company but they won’t awncer my call so what I am saying is in my experience you will not get back up or help from this company called Electricians On Call there number is 0839726009

Thieves
Had an issue on Saturday 09 Oct called the company and waited a bit after an eta was given. 20 minutes later they started explaining what they will do and to me water and electricity don’t go together but they had to remove this circuit breaker from the earth leakage and connect it straight. Needless to say at 4am the lights tripped and I messaged them of the incident. They arrive at 8:30 and request 3 minutes and now I have 24/7 gate lights. I was promised that they will be back on Monday but to no avail and when I called on Tuesday the answer was” how much you going to pay to fix your light” before apologising for not coming or returning my call on Monday as promised.. they are liars and thieves they have charged 700 rand for illigal connection.. they are abunce of electrical thieves!!!

Electricians on Call....Totally unreliable
Called Electricians on call out to replace a faulty geyser timer. nEeded up being told i needs to replace my entire DB board. When the geyser timer still kept tripping, they replaced that too. When the geyser continued to trip, they found the geyser heating element burnt out -- which was the main problem all along. Now the timer has also lost its backup facility....cannot get them to come and repair despite being in the warranty period. WORST AFTER CARE SERVICE IMAGINABLE. I must strongly disourage anyone from using this company.

"Electricians On Call" must be reported to the police for their shocking and scary so called 'customer service'. make sure you do not use their services! Each inquiry I made for assistance with the plug point (in the entertainment area) was met with ridicule. The man on the phone laughed at me and was very rude to me (I was trying to explain the issue, not knowing that I was signing up for abuse, he shouted at me and threatened me, no excuse for such service from any company). He also threatened me via sms saying he will find me and my address, when I told him that I was going to review him via Hello Peter. People like this are a danger to society, I imagine what would have happened if I allowed him into my house. His company is registered under Yvette Candise Kark, and the website mentions a Harry and Dirk. I believe the man I spoke to is Dirk Koekemoer (cell number registration name - 084 472 4674). Other companies associated with this man are "Plumbers all hours" and others all under a Wielewale Street, Boksburg address. I urge any one, especially women not to use his services as I have reason to believe that he is a threat to your safety.

Shocking Service
This company by the name of Electricians on call ( on their invoicing ) installed an electric fence at our home, soon after the fence did not work. I called them to arrange for a technician to come through. The women who answered me on whatsapp said they dont do service - I still offered to pay for the service. I was told they cannot help us and she blocked me . I then got someone at our offices to call and ask for their email address , and the women who answered our offices call said her name is Chantal and this is a private number they do not do fences. She knew it was us calling. ( I only have a mobile- as their details were given to me by our neighbour - who had the exact same problem with them after installation his fence required fixing and they ignored his calls too). I have the messages as proof and the invoice, they literally took our money and we never heard back from them once there was a problem they blocked me.

Overcharging a customer
an electrician came here he got to the DB he than showed us that the wires were burned, he then started work on the DB without giving us a quotation, when he was done he then wrote us an invoice. the electrician took advantage coz he saw that we were only young adults in the house without and adult/owner who would hold him to account for the overcharge amount. I have already paid Leander the amount.

BAD ATTITUDE, THREATENING and RUDE
I sent Electricians on Call a web request for a quote. This guy telephoned and spoke to my wife. He had such a bad attitude that she told him to rather leave the quote as she did not like his attitude. He then started getting rude on the phone so she put it down. He then constantly started phoning back saying all sorts of things and basically verbally harassing us. Eventually, I picked up the phone and made it clear that we were not interested in his service. He then said that he knows where our business is and he will be waiting outside to teach my wife (named her by name) a lesson. I told him not to be a coward and come as I will be waiting for him. He put the phone down. Then he repeatedly phoned from 3 different numbers, calling us, including my staff that answered, names and using some really bad language. His main number on the website is 084-472-**** (look out for that number) Each time we said, come over and lets sort this out face to face and each time, he just wanted to "sort our E****", who is my wife. He would rather take on a woman than a man. This is the worst electrician company we have ever had to deal with and the rudest and is now threatening the lives of my family. He refuses to give his name as I want to open a case at the police station. We will also report him to the ECASA who he claims to be a member of.
