Dear Lisa you have made my cancer journey so much easier when buying a wig at Fascinations. You sold me a short wig which I love and a long Wig which I absolutely love. Very friendly and pleasant people ..from the front desk to the actual assistant who was professional but the most helpful and friendly person. My experience with Fascinations Blouberg CT was only positive. I will definitely buy my next t wig through them again ...regards Delene Kleyn

After many emotional months of contemplating and shopping around for a wig, I eventually decided to go for a human hair wig from Fascinations Hair through their agent in Irene, D’or Wigs, I opted for the Positano human hair wig. Not once was I told that this expensive wig has very specific handling requirements. I was told that you wear it and wash it with the shampoo and conditioner that they supply. You must style it when you wash it. No brochure or guidelines indicating what kind of styling will be required. Nothing was mentioned about the way you are supposed to fit it when wearing it. Five months down the line the front of the wig was fraying, and the hair was coming out in bunches. I took it back and after two weeks were told - sorry your problem. We only guarantee our workmanship for 6 months. Now they tell me I am not supposed to touch the fringe or for that matter any part of the wig when wearing it. Warrantee of 6 months only is a shame to say the least, after spending R20,000 and this is how easy they step back from their responsibility, is shameful! Stay clear of this company. You spend a fortune on their product and then all you get is NO GO we will not replace or mend, fix or whatever to support their customers.

It is best to share my Google Review and edits here: I give the 2 stars purely for the 5 star service we received from Cheryl. We bought a R30K wig for my 17 year old daughter with Alopecia. The first (dark brown) wig turned red within a month and with only one wash. They replaced the wig at no cost and we were very thankful for that. The second wig turned red after 2 months and 2 washes. Jon Renau is not interested in helping us to solve the problem or a return as they have done a return already. I should've bought cheaper wigs from cheaper outlets and we would've been far better off. As if going through high school wearing a wig isn't enough stress, you get teased for "going ginger" as well. Do not buy Jon Renau wigs. Edit: 26/07/2022 Thank you for your reply Margaux and thank you for the offer. We do have a synthetic wig though (similar to what you are offering us now) which Dirlize included in our deal. The problem with that is the fact that her classmates doesn't know that she is wearing a wig, that's why we spent R35K with you in total, to get the best. Not only does the long haired synthetic wig retain a lot of heat which is uncomfortable in class, but her classmates will immediately notice that she is wearing a wig. The shiny synthetic hair is easily noticeable in close contact. So as easy as that option sounds, it won't work for us. Just a thought: The second wig is doing exactly what the first wig did. Why haven't you sent the first one to the factory back in January already? Surely we would've then had some answers by now? As we told you, we are trying to wash the wig only when needed in order to preserve the colour. For some reason they loose a lot of colour after the first two washes, making the brown wigs look reddish orange. From there it turns more orange after every wash. Please send the first wig back to the factory. The teasing at school is under control. At the rate that the second wig is losing colour, we would have to make some decisions soon and would like your feedback before that. Jon Renau is an international brand and one of the best brands out there, renowned for their quality, versatility and colours. I know you purchased your wig from one of our agents and it was replaced with the first issue that arose. The reason we did not replace the wig for the second time is because we felt it necessary to send both wigs to the factory to let them advise us on the colour change. It is highly unusual for a wig to turn orange, it has not happened once with you, it has happened twice. We therefore really need to inspect both wigs and send them to the factory to determine the cause. Especially since we replaced the wig with a darker shade and the same thing happened. We know that the agent has also gifted you with another wig because she wanted your daughter to be able to alternate. We understand that this wig is a costly purchase and would like to get to the bottom of the colour change, however we need to send both of the faulty wigs to the factory for their inspection. As we have not had this happen before on two different colours, the same wig and the same client… I would like to offer you a replacement wig at this time for your daughter to wear so that we can send both wigs back to the factory for their assessment. This will be a complimentary brand new wig and will match the colour and length of the wig that you have purchased. I will get Cheryl to contact you to make arrangements. I went into the Blauuberg store to buy a wig after suffering hair loss due to trauma. We travelled from George to do this after seeing your business online. She explained to the young lady that she would like to see wigs with a fringe to hide her hairline. An older lady at a desk shouted across the room at me wanting to know if she had an appointment. She was bemused as she wanted to view and buy. She said no and the lady said she couldn't be helped because there were only two consultants and they were expecting a lady named Wendy. There was no one else in the store! She started an interview asking about the nature of the hair loss making me feel uncomfortable and kept moving into her personal body space. She tried to touch my hair that was wrapped in a scarf saying she needed to check my hair colour without asking if she wanted the same colour as my own natural colour. She also disputed a choice of wig versus something called a topper. At this stage I asked if she could see a selection of wigs with a fringe as that is why we had come there. She was refused and so I left. Quite astonishing that a client can't see what you are selling. And as for the unpleasantness! An email was sent to the Managing Director about my terrible experience, he has chosen no to respond, or even acknowledge receipt of the mail.
