Professional, Communicative and Reliable Conveyancers
We recently had the pleasure of working with Faurie Nell Attorneys(Shira Bloch) for both the transfer of our new home and the sale of our previous property. Their team demonstrated professionalism, efficiency, and excellent communication throughout what could have been a complex process. They managed two transactions simultaneously with great care and attention to detail. Where unavoidable delays arose—caused by third-party processes outside their control—they kept us fully updated and ensured that our interests were always looked after. We particularly appreciated their calm and professional approach, which made the process much less stressful for us. We are also mindful that conveyancers are often unfairly blamed for delays in transfers, when in reality these delays are dependent on external parties such as municipalities, homeowners’ associations, and deeds offices. In our experience, Faurie Nell Attorneys were transparent, communicative, and always acted with integrity. Very slow attorneys
Furie Nell, the conveyancer, operates at an extremely slow pace; were it possible to assign a rating below 1, I would do so. The entire transaction which is a cash transaction was sluggish and seemed intentionally prolonged, as the seller is trying to move to a new home. This urgency was not reflected in the Offer to Purchase, and now, after three months, the property remains unregistered. Despite my explanation of the urgency to relocate and my proposal for early occupancy, they declined that option as well. When I inquired about the delay in payment for the rate and tax clearance certificate, the sellers informed me that the seller is not in a hurry, which I find unprofessional; this has also resulted in a month-long delay.

Faurie Nell needs to be investigated by South African Law
Beware people and never ever ever pay them a deposit if they are doing a transfer for you. Please don’t trust this company I have complained to the law society but I bond was not granted and upon instructions from the seller who is an attorney and his wife as well they are withholding my deposit and asked me to vacate the unit I paid for upfront because the seller was callous I paid 2 months rental. He’s an attorney the seller and I was faced with relocating to a place with mould, no toilet as it was leaking broken cupboards, filth and grime and the attorneys were informed say 1 the disclosure is incorrect. They were as callous as the people I was going to buy from. Doors wouldn’t lock there were no keys. No shower enclosure but a fitting. My point is my bond was not granted and they are deliberately withholding my deposit. The police came today because of the performance of a male agent from First who said it’s my problem about the mould and issues was screaming and shouting and I was alone with my helper. Thank god the bond wasn’t granted but Faurie Nell please people don’t give them a cent of your money trust me. Rather a bank guaranteed letter is safer. They are withholding my money. The police listened to the abuse by the agent and asked me to not open the door again but call them first. They were the only people that gave me support when I told them the seller is an attorney and I’m a single female. The police has my back strangely in this scenario. And I won’t leave without my hard earned money.

Conveyancer that really care for their clients
Faurie Nell represented by Jacques Terblanche helped me register my first property ☺️. Very pleased with their services, after a very complicated transfer where there were several challenges from the initial transferring attorneys and the seller. BAD AND RUDE SERVICE
Fourie nel attorneys we appointed by standard bank to do my transfer as i bought a house through the bank. The process started on May 12 2021.i paid them all the money in mid June. And when i contacted the to get an update i was told by Sina Apane that process will be finalized mid August. This after there was no communication from them to me unless i asked something. Today i went to their offices and i will never forget the experience. There is a lady called Maryke de Vet. She was rude shouting at me from the corridor telling me the delay was with the council and she does not work for the council so i should see what i do. I told her i have no place to stay as i have to vacate the room am renting by Saturday 31.07.2021. She asked what do i want her to do with that. All this time she is shouting and we are in the reception arrea. I am so disappointed in the way they treated me. When i went there to sign they were so welcoming and promising. But now that i paid them am treated like nothing. When i told her i will take this matter further she said i should do so. Maryke de Vet is rude and don't care about anyone. The sad thing is now they have taken my joy of at last owning my own house and threw it in the drain. Am so saddened by the experience and i feel cancelling the whole process couse all it has brought ti me is pain, stress and sadness.

Guy Gillespie Properties & Faurie Nel Inc
I would never recommend any seller of a property deal with this conveyancer and the estate agent who nominates them as conveyancer of choice, in my case Guygillespie properites with whom they have a buddy buddy relationship. You are bound to get shunted from pillar to post and given peomoses they have no intention of fulfilling. I was promised payment on the business day following registration and this position promptly changed as soon as registration was effected and Guy Gillespie was then in the superior position of being the registered owner. In keeping with the agreement I relinquished posession through submission of keys to Guy Gillespie within 24 hrs of transfer. This still did not let he nor his colluding conveyancer place the purchase money in my account. They will choose when they pay and how they pay who they pay. The combination of Guy Gillespie and Faurie Nel Inc is baaad news. Stay away. Do not use.
