Dear Flight Network Customer Service, On 28 November 2025, I booked two flights for my husband and myself from Durban to Johannesburg for 13 December 2025, with a return on 14 December 2025. The booking reference is 1109-846-117. The booking details were as follows: Outbound Flight: Airline: Safair Airways Date: 13 December 2025 Departure: Durban at 20:05 Arrival: Johannesburg at 21:15 Return Flight: Airline: Lift Airways Date: 14 December 2025 Departure: Johannesburg at 08:00 Arrival: Durban at 09:10 The payment for both flights was successfully processed without any delays. The outbound flight on 13 December went smoothly, and check-in was effortless. However, on 14 December, when attempting to check in for the return flight, I discovered that the booking for the return flight was never confirmed. I received no communication or alert indicating any issue with the booking, despite both flights being booked together. I attempted to contact Flight Network immediately but was unable to reach anyone. As a result, I was forced to purchase a completely new flight at a significantly higher cost—approximately R4,000—to return to Durban. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and the lack of support provided. I have sent the company a email I'm awaiting feedback.

South Africans, and potentially anyone else not booking from Canada or US, please be careful. All currency exchange fees and other charges are not disclosed when booking the flight. I used skyscanner to search for a local flight, selected the flightnetwork price as it was the cheapest, and finalised booking. When adding my card, and requesting final payment it gave me a Visa card fee associated with the transaction. One does not normally pay a Visa or mastercard fee when your card is debited for payments. I went along with this, but this card fee was 12% of the total booking cost which is a fair amount. I should have gone back and checked immediately why this was being charged, essentially I paid more for the flight with this fee, so in the end flightnetwork was not the cheapest option presented. Then lo behold, about 3 days later, I see an international fee cost on my bank statement, and upon researching realised this was a Canadian company and not a local provider. Only select local and compare the prices. Flightnetwork did not disclose the currency conversion cost that you will pay, this automatically debits off your bank account a few days later so they do not include this in the flight cost. All in all, it ended up with flightnetwork being the more expesive option to book.

I booked my tickets via their website and at the time selected my seats for the outward trip. Later i wanted to chnage those seats to emergency exit. On their website it says that you need to contact the airlines. I did and they indicated that the change will cost T220 for 2 seta as they deduct the seat selection fee already paid. Then they said as i booked via an agency i need to do it through them ie Flight Network. They charged r5600 to change the two sats as their policy will not allow them to use the money paid already. I declined as this is a *******. I then asked them to add 1 extra bag. They charged R2957 and when i asked why it was so high they said they have a service fee of R968- for pressing a button!!!I did it on KLM online for R1884. It is a pity that this agency rips customers off in this way. They are not focussed on the customer at all. Best is to book via Travelstart or any other with which i have never had a problem like this before.

I booked from cheapflights website that routed me to Flight Network, I had a change of travel plans and paused my tickets directly with the airline only for this Network to request a refund from the airline on my so called behalf and now they don't want to refund me.

This company is pathetic. I cancelled my flight more than a month before my departure date, they promised a refund in about 10 to 15 days. Their chatbot promises lies, no email, no phone, no refund, only the status that the refund is in process. The departure date even passed a long time ago. Also avoid Go to gate

I booked an online flight for my young sister from O R Tambo to Harare on the 8th of Feb 2025. Money funds were debited from account waited over 24 hours for my E-ticket which was not issued, called them to enquire and was advised that the booking timed out, I should rebook again. But this time I use a different agent. Since from the 10th of February till today I have been calling for my refund which they still advise on 72 hours to be processed. Friendly advice; If you still want to stay healthy and keep sane never book with Flight Network, they are a bunch of ****mers. Bad and professional customer care.
