The worst experience we have ever had with a dealership. Bought a vehicle second-hand. Various items failed their checklist. Wiper blades, bumper and fender arch not lining up and loose. Brake pads that need replacing to name a few. Stone chips all over the vehicle that we were told would be touched up. The bonnet had the worst stone chips and we paid toward having the bonnet resprayed and VPS app**** to the bonnet. The sales person we were dealing with left and the new sales person and manager are refusing to replace and repair the list of items we have asked about. I would not recommend anyone buy a vehicle from this branch. Their service to their clients is appauling. Our vehicle is still with them as I refuse to collect it until the brake pads, bumper, fender arch, wind coming in through the passenger side door, roof lining has water mark on passenger side and not put back correctly. We are being told this is due to the sound system that was fitted prior to us purchaing it. So the water mark just majically appreared. They have replaced the wiper blades and repaired the voltage outlet. How very kind of them. I hope this review is a warning to all future buyers out there.

I caution everyone before buying from Ford Amanzimtoti. I bought a used Ford Kuga in December 2023 for R268 150, 11 days after taking delivery the EGR valve failed. Today as at 05/07/2024 my vehicle is still sitting at Ford Amanzimtoti dealership not repaired while I wait for the MIMOSA outcome. You would never believe that they want me to pay for this repair of almost R40 000. They are the most dishonest and devious dealership I have ever experienced dealings with. Customer service is appalling. The DP Stacey Grace is rude and lacking in every aspect of what a DP should be. Ford Amanzimtoti DO NOT meet the terms under the Ethic pillar in the Hatfield Motor Group, for high levels of service excellence, integrity and respect.

Bought demo model from ford fury toti durban. 7months after buying, car switched off completly. Thinking its my fault perhaps, so i took it to mechanic.. only to find out the shaft of the car was welded.. so firstly who ever had the car before me the shaft broke and was welded in.. and this can only be the agents of the dealership. Called ford, they say they cant do anything, as the shaft is already removed. Obvisously it was removed, how else im going to know that it eas welded. Cost incurred by myself as ford didnt want to take responsibilty for it. One and half years later, car switches of again. Timing belt snaps. Why? It wasnt changed on fords last service. Why wasnt it changed on the last service with ford only god knows. Now i have to cough up money that i dont have to repair cylinder head, bent valves, belt.. and everything else. Ford takes no responsibilty for selling me a car that they messed up and if they did their job and changed the belt like they supposed to. I know they wont even bother and come up with every excuse in the book. Eitherway i will never buy a ford again. They sell u a piece of **** and expect the customer to suffer. Useless

Ford Toti are very strategic I must say. I am now requesting for the last 2 weeks, now going onto the 3rd just for a quote to extend the service plan and to know if its possible. Evertime I call, there is a story, load shedding...lines was down.. cannot find my details...they still working on it..excuse after excuse. Bare in mind whilst waiting, the miliage is running up.. So now i get told I will have to pay for the service. So basically Ford waited until the milage ran up so I have to pay..but im still waiting for the quote to extend the service plan.. How is it that im told to pay but I cant get a quote. Useless. No wonder Ford has such a bad name already. Very dodgey company.

Good Day I have just about had it now with Ford Amanzimtoti branch and Ford SA. I have had endless problems with my car from the day I purchased it. It has been in and out of Ford Amanzimtoti's Workshop for the past 4 and a half years. It works for a couple of month's then has to go back in and then I must still get rude and arrogant responses regarding my concerns and problems I am experiencing. I received my car back 4 months ago after it had once again gone into Ford Amanzimtoti for problems with the engine. As of last week my car was taken back to Ford Amanzimtoti as the engine light had come on. They checked the vehicle and advised me that the exhaust manifold is damaged and they cannot repair it because the car is out of warranty and I will be liable for payment of R14000 to have it repaired. I do not understand how they can say I am liable as they were the last people to work on my car, how is it possible for the car to be having a problem again now just 4 months after Ford Amanzimtoti worked on it. If they were busy with the engine they had to have removed the exhaust so it does not make sense to me how this can now be my problem. I am sick to death of the service I have received from the time I have bought this car and the endless problems I have encountered. I am paying for a car that has spent more time in Ford Amanzimtoti’s Workshop than enjoying the benefit of it. This has been one headache after another and then I must still be told that this is not their problem when they were the people attending to the problems. I lodged my complaint once again with Ford SA only to receive a call from one of the Customer Care Consultants (what a joke), Steven Motala, who was speaking to me like this is my problem and they have already assisted me with the engine problems but now I must bear in mind that this cannot also be their problem. I am appalled. Is this the kind of Customer Care Ford SA offers their clients. I have been inconvenienced from the time I purchased this car, a mistake I will never make again, and then I must still be spoken to rudely and arrogantly by a person who is supposed to be assisting me, the customer. What amazes me is the fact that I am paying for this car, it was not handed to me on a silver platter by Ford. Their products and service is shocking. I want this resolved. Every 3-4 months I must be experiencing problems. What trash is Ford selling to us. When I asked the technician at Ford Amanzimtoti how can this happen after 4 months of them working on these parts he advised that this is a general problem with that specific part on these cars. So please I need to understand how does this become the consumers problem. The job card clearly shows that this specific part was worked on 4 months ago so how can Ford SA and Ford Amanzimtoti say this is wear and tear, after 4 months. I fail to understand this.
