I bought a car from the dealership, but it was delivered without the Backboard for the boot. Salesman promised to have it delivered but it did not happen. Then the Sales Manager promised he will solve it within a week. 3 weeks later and still no Backboard.

Stay away from Haval, this branch in particular have no customer service skills. I have dealt with a senior manager, the service manager and the dealer principle who is always MIA. Lodged a formal complaint with "Super group" but the are also not interested in speaking to unhappy customers. Haval has no parts in SA and I have been waiting for 3 weeks now for one part. This is the same part mind you that they replaced in Oct 24 and now it failed again. I have expressed my need for a courtesy veh on a regular basis with explinations of my elderly parents and my working hours but apparently the fact that i have to pay Uber for 6 weeks while they wait for a part is not their concern. I will never again buy Haval or recommend this brand to anyone. The service manager seems to believe bad customer service is an opinion rather than a delivery. Dont waste you time rather buy a car that has parts in SA.

Its sad to give a one star despite the good service received from the sales person, it what happened afterword. We where looking at purchasing a new Haval (and not a cheap one). The sales person was excellent and knew the vehicle. But then then the problems started with the trade-in. We had a understanding that because the vehicle was so popular and had to be order that might take some time a OTP would be sign to confirm our position in the ordering line. This was also acceptable to us regarding finance application. The current vehicle was evaluated and a price was give, a very good trade in price that we where happy with. Later the week I requested that the trade-in price be confirmed in writing because the new vehicle will take about two month to collected. Then the stories started, "no they can't do that" act. despite me having this information on whatsapp. They didn't want to give me guarantee on the trade-in, so once the new vehicle comes then they could offer a ridicules price. *********!! Because I was not happy about this a manager phoned me by the name of Gareth. From the get go there was a attitude from his side. When I told about places I consulted regarding the trade-in he wanted there names and details, where on earth do you ask a customer that. Because of his attitude I got one. I stated that because the just lost the deal, and he was quite happy with that stating "he is the owner". He even contradicted and did not care about the deal made with the sales person. I had a family member that was also considering the purchase of a vehicle there, so because of his attitude (Gareth) he not only lost a client that was going to buy, but also another potential client. Take this as a warning, they pull you in the first time with good service and even the second time. But its the service that happens after the discussion, you find rudeness, dishonesty, lack of knowledge and attitude. All this precented by Gareth "the manager". They will never see a cent from me and never a good word. I will make sure even the man on the moon hears about this. Business must be good at that Haval, the way the treat customer that is serious to buy. The forget they aren't the only dealer in town.

I hate the Haval brand. Moreover, the staff at Haval Northcliff does not seem to know what they're doing. My car has a mileage of 50 000 and had 2 breakdowns already and you are told that parts will arrive within 3 working days only to find that you wait for more than 10 working days. I am done with Haval Northcliff and when I do sell/trade my current vehicle, Haval they will never hear from me again. I am done.

I trusted the dealership to provide me with a new 2025 vehicle. Upon my last inspection today 10 Feb 2025, before I wanted to make the purchase, I looked at the brake discs, and they had ridges. How does a new vehicle with only 54km (of which I test drove +- 4km) get brake disc ridges? Nobody could answer, not the sales person, not the service advisor, never heard from the manager. In fact, the service advisor was just as baffled as I was. How could I pay all that money (and in cash) for a new vehicle that didn't have flat, smooth brake discs (in other words, new ones)? When I asked for a justification of the condition of the discs - the response was that nobody could explain, nobody could give an answer. So then, when this vehicle was brought on the carrier to Pomona and driven from Pomona to Haval Northcliff (which I've googled could be either 51, 56 or 67km - interesting when 1 starts using math to justify scenarios), was there no quality check done when receiving the vehicle into stock? Does the branch not check what they receive? I also want to mention that the vehicle chrome and plastic was actually dull - does this happen to new vehicles in storage? When I negotiated to say, change the discs to new ones and I will consider the vehicle - it was for my own cost! Lastly, when I asked to see other New vehicles to check their discs in the lot at the back, they were all smooth - I literally ran my fingers across 3 different vehicles discs. None of this makes sense. Please don't contact me and ask me what happened - kindly read the above summary before doing so. I really hope this is not a case of gender ************** - that I can be duped because I'm a woman. Sadly, for many service providers, I have a great deal of knowledge, and, because of my knowledge of cars, among other things, I was able to make the right decision today to not make the purchase.

A complaint was forwarded to Gareth.mccarthy@supergrp.com and Udo.paro@supergrp.com of Haval Northcliff/Supergroup on 2025 Jan 24. I was sold a pre-owned vehicle without roadworthy tests/certificate and I only found out when I visited the post office to renew my license disk. They also advised I was driving with an incorrect license disk, upon change of ownership a new license disk was issued but the salesman (Ronald Jones) told me I would receive one upon renewal of the expiring one (2025 Jan 31). Subsequently, I visited a Dekra testing station and produced a document received from my salesman as proof of Dekra inspection, only to be told; what I had was a condition report to outline any damages but the vehicle didn't under-go any inspection. Bear in mind I have had to replace cv joints within the first 3 months of the purchase. The vehicle's insurance is null & void because the vehicle is not road worthy nor that the license disk information tie up with Enatis document. Since I submitted a formal complaint, I have only received an email back that the manager would investigate & revert in 24hrs and I have not heard from them since. It is now 4th Feb 2025. I was rather contacted by the salesperson (Ronald Jones) a week later and he stated he would collect the vehicle to sort out the paperwork. I have made clear that the stated control arm bushings on the condition report were never replaced as the report suggests. Ronald Jones has collected my vehicle to sort the paperwork and perform a wheel alignment instead of replacing the aforementioned parts which he concealed at purchase time bearing in mind I did not engage in a voetstoots deal. I am very dissapointed at how the matter is being handled; 1st, I have been refered back to the same individual who deliberately misinformed me, concealed critical information about the vehicle just to make a sale, to address my complaint. Haval Northcliff's management sees it right that I must trust the same person that deceived me about this sale to sort the matter out. As is, he has deliberately ignored my request to address the mechanical issues clearly stipulated on Dekra's condition report and swaying me with stating that a wheel alignment has been perfomed. I have travelled 3000 kms with a damaged front axle (left & right) risking my families life over dealerships and sales personnel that do not observe protocol, breach license conditions, treat customers unfairly, false advertise their products. There is no honesty and integrity at this dealership. I have also requested them to furnish me with the ombudsman contact information and I am still waiting. Nobody is taking initiative in any form. I have not had a vehicle since I discovered this on 2025 Jan 22nd and lodged a complaint on January 24th. Neither did they show any urgency to resolve the matter. I cannot drive a non-roadworthy vehicle, the insurance is null & void on vehicle and the vehicle is not mechanically fit use. And the salesperson continues to deceive me and not address my issues. I have specifically chosen to do business with them as a trusted dealer but what a WOW.

I bought a demo in December last and it was already on 5000km. The sales guy never explained or told me that the dealer had bought the car in October that year and therefore all warranties on the car are subject to that date not the date i purchased the car. Had they made me aware I would have extended the warranty. Also the finance lady never advised that i need to take the extended warranties as the purchase date is recorded as Oct. The warranty book doesn't even have any purchase details on it for the original owner. To my surprise I took the car 2 weeks back as it was making a funny noise. they told me it was wheel bearings and that they will check warranty and sort it. Only for them to come back that its out of warranty because the car was bought in Oct so its over the 20000km which is covered up to. I then brought to their attention that was news to me. They now are refusing to sort this out and I must pay out of my own pockets!!

So last week I was contacted by one of their people by the name of Tumelo Xolani Shanbangu and he provided me with information about a vehicle, he later called and suggested we meet out of the office so he can do a favur for me and cut cost we agreed to my surprise he initiated he can come to my residential address so I test drive the car around my area and I agreed, he did arrive and while we drove he started touching me in an inappropriate way and said he can get me the car cheaply if I let him "tap" and refused but he kept forcing himself on me I had to run out of the car in the middle of the road.
