The service at Renault Kempton Park is absolutely unacceptable. I will never take my car there again, and I will strongly discourage anyone from doing so. I took my car in on Friday, 7 November 2025 for a routine annual service and was assisted by Nonkululeko Mabona. Later that day, she called to say the wiper blades were worn and needed to be replaced. I agreed and informed her that the car is covered by a maintenance plan. She requested the details, which I emailed to her at 9:30 AM. In the afternoon, she called again to say the car was ready for collection but claimed I had not sent the maintenance plan details. I disputed that, and after checking, she admitted the email had come through. She then said they didn’t have wiper blades in stock but promised to call me the following week to bring the car in for replacement a process that would supposedly take only thirty minutes. She never called. On Wednesday, 12 November, Renault Head Office contacted me for a service rating. I told them I could only rate them a four because I was still waiting for Nonkululeko’s call. I also mentioned that I had called her on Tuesday, 11 November, left a message, and never received a callback. Within five minutes after that call from Head Office, she suddenly called to apologize and asked me to bring the car in on Thursday, 13 November for the wiper blade replacement. I agreed. However, she then insisted I pay a deposit, even though I had already sent her the maintenance plan details. When I reminded her of this, she claimed she had not received it and asked me to resend it which I did immediately. Shortly afterward, I received an SMS confirming my appointment for Thursday before 8:30 AM. I arrived at 7:50 AM, only to find that they had not done the required administrative work and had not even contacted the maintenance service provider. I was told to wait while they tried to make contact, but was also informed that they would not work on the car until they were paid and, to make matters worse, they still did not have wiper blades in stock and could not say how long it would take. At that point, I had had enough. I took my car and left. The level of incompetence, poor communication, and disregard for customers at Renault Kempton Park is disgraceful. The staff are disorganized, unreliable, and completely indifferent to customer satisfaction. They are, without a doubt, the worst service centre I have ever dealt with.

This is the worse Renault that I have ever dealt with. I have been in contact with them since they have open to assist with my car including the night before when my malfunction happened. I kept getting told that someone will call me. I receive an email 15 mins before closure that they will be closing at 12 pm. How is a year-end function more important than providing a service. How is it that none of the people I spoke to informed me about it. Then when reaching the Service manager, she stays persistent that I will not be assisted because they NEED to go to a function. Where is the client services. I explained since my first call that its urgent. But CLEAR Renault Kempton Park value function over clients. It seems this brand is all about selling and not service thereafter. If there was a rating less than 1 star I would of selected it. WORSE RENAULT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Last year December i took my car for 90000km service at Renault kempton park. To my knowledge everything on the car was serviced as per manufacturer specifications for major service. Normally if there are thongs that the service plan do not cover, i get notified for example, changing a battery, break pads, fog lights n so on, i would then authorise or decline the quotes. So my car started a very noisy sound on the interior fan after the service, okay i kept on driving the car hoping the sound will stop. So the car gave me engine warning lights, i stoped the car, called the warranty line and they towed the car to Renault Kempton Park. The following morning they told me i need to pay for a V belt R3250,i paid it as i wanted my car back. They never washed the car after fixing it, they ignored the funny fan sound and told me i need to book for fan to be cleaned😭😭😭😭of which i am still gonna pay for it. The service advisor Jerry called me privately telling me, this car is going to give you problems, let me give you sales consultant fro Nissan, the next thing it's gonna break a certain parts in the engine. I don't wanna mention the lady who is the service manager, she has no manners and she is so unprofessional, she called my car, a rats car!! So my question is, how come i am experiencing engine problems if my car is serviced on time?? Renault Kempton Park is a scam!!!!!!!!! I want my money back. I am taking this further. You are going to do 90000km on my car for free like it or not!!!!

Good day On the 15th of February 2022 I took my car in for service at the Nissan service centre in Kempton park. I was one of the first cars to get there at around 06:50 in the morning. I dropped my car off and waited to be taken home by one of the drivers and that was done. I advised the service consultant that I would appreciate it if the car would be done by 12h00 noon as I had to report for duty at 12h30. He said he would advise the technicians. The service consultant called me after 14h00 to tell me my car was done and I should come collect it. I then advised him that the driver dropped me off at home in the morning and if he could come and fetch me to come and collect my car. He said fine he will contact the driver and get back to me. This did not happen I had to call him after 16h00 to find out what was goi g on as Im still waiting for him to come back to me. Only then he told me that the driver was busy and couldn't come fetch me. So I basically waisted my time waiting for him to call me and call the driver to collect me. I don't know what was going on that day but normally when a customer requests for transport they offer it. I got so upset and told them how disappointed I was with their service and how this messed up my whole day because I was supposed to be at work at12h30. They didn't care! I stead the phone was passed around amongst each other - one minute I'm talking to the service consultant, the next minute to the driver that blatantly told me he didn't know anything about fetching me and that he was not told and that he wasn't coming as he was going to Birchly. So he would rather go past my residence and go to Birchly - wow! 😠 All in all, I ubered myself to the Nissan kempton park service centre to collect my car. Paid the R9731 and some odd cents for the service and drove to work. Arriving at 17h13 mind you. No apology offered for the inconvenience they cause me. I don't know what kind of people are employed there but one thi g for sure is that they don't deserve to work there. Very uncultured! They don't deserve to be the face of your brand. Never going back there for anything! Regards N. Peter a very dissatisfied customer

If I could give them zero I would. I took my car for service in October after spe ding the whole day at their dealership they phoned to say service hasn't been done cause they don't have a cambelt and I must fetch the car just before 17:00 as to why they kept it the whole day if they couldn't service it I don't know. I was then given a date to take it back which I did on the exact day and again I was phoned to say the car has been serviced I can fetch it but the cambelt was not changed because they received a wrong one therefore I'll need to take the car back again for the third time. I did just that took in for the third and they changed the cambelt. Drove the car in November went to maternity leave in December and started driving again in January when school reopened. The car had a funny noise which I ignored and then it started getting worse I took it to a different Renault center when the mechanic told me I was lucky to still be alive and not have died in a car accident as the front left tyrer was totally loose. They tyrer was not properly fastened after the service which led to 3 studs coming off and rim getting damaged. I phoned Kempton Park center to lay a complain, spoke to their service manager who told me it's not their fault as I couldn't have driven so ma u kilometers post serivece if it was their fault. My question is whose fault is it the seeing they are the only ones who serviced the car and there was no work done on the car by anyone else after them?. Now I have to pay a huge amount to fix their negligence which almost cost me and my kids's lives.
