ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Innovia Properties & Newberry Properties think they can hide away like ***ards after taking people's money and giving them houses that are a danger to live in! My parents house is caving in on them! It is dangerous to live there! Their ceiling is falling down because of leaks from terrible workmanship and cutting corners! They don't answer calls, they ignore all the residents who have purchased a house in Vino who are living in horrible conditions! STEPHAN, ARNO AND DUPREE! Don't ever buy a house from these 3 names, they take your money and don't give a damn if your house falls on you! And they probably think they can change can just hideaway! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! Taking people's hard earned money and causing them emotional distress and physical harm. ***ARDS, ******, CHEATS, AND HORRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS AND COMPANY!

Innovia properties is a shocking disgrace - do not use them. The only person that ever came back to me was the accountant that was outsourced. The house in Tanglewood that I bought has a 5 year guarantee from them. It's only 3 years old. What they do is fight you on the things they need repair until the guarantee expires. The latest is that they asked the accountant if I was the original owner, which therefore determines whether or not they fix issues like roof leaks, balcony leaks, sliding door leaks etc. Nowhere in their contract with the original owners does it indicate that this is a factor. They are legally bound to repairs until the guarantees expire but, alas, as everyone in this complex has experienced - the worst workmanship, the worst aftersales service and the worst ethics from the owner and his managers. I wish I could give stars on a minus basis and that would probably go into eternity. I await the accountant's reply from the owner

Stay away from any Innovia Properties developments!!! They are con artists that are dishonest, manipulative, useless and only care about how much money they can put into their own pockets. We were suppose to move into our house in April 2020, but we could only move in at the end of November 2020 due to the house not being finished. The day we got the go ahead to move in the house wasn't even finished with the stair railing standing in our living room and the upstairs shower leaking onto our downstairs ceiling. Plumbing issues with showers and sinks, waterproofing issues and water damages, structural issues and just plain sloppy finishes. 6 months later and with no effort to fix any of these issues we had to take further steps against them.

We bought a house in Tanglewood estate and I am absolutely disgusted and dissapointed with the lack of service you offer. You are quick to sell a house but no where to be found once you have your money. Blame gets shifted and we just have to accept the fact that you are "just not getting to it". It was a continious struggle finally get the house done, and we were fine with the fact that it was 4 months later than the date agreed upon, but the amount of time it takes for you to complete the smaller projects and snags you could not manage to finish with the house is unacceptable.. Not even mentioning the fact that our calls get ignored or that the people dealing with (one they do answer) keep giving dates not met... With the amount of complaints regarding poor service and substandard building I have seen today, this complaint will probably go unnoticed and I think the only way to get you attention is probably to take to the media

Innovia Properties - shame on you. I am currently having premises built in Tanglewood Estate and so far, it has been dismal affair. Just to name a few: lack of urgency, slackness, dont listen to the clients, throw their hands in the air when you want information, blatantly lie to you about building work is in progress just to see that no work is being done. Quick to want your money, but slack to deliver. You as a client, have to keep chasing these people and all they do is stall, stall, stall. I just would like to warn anyone wanting to purchase new development properties, STAY AWAY from Innovia Properties. Better off without them.

I live in a relatively new house in an estate that was developed by Innovia. I won't say the name of the estate but it is situated in Langeberg Ridge. For over a year now, I have been sitting with a garage roof that leaks like a Land Rover's oil tank every time it rains. This rainwater carries mineral deposits with it that landed on mine and my wife's vehicles and permanently damaged the paint on both vehicles. The total amount of damage caused to our vehicles by this leaking roof is well over R30K. It was so bad that I decided to sell and replace both vehicles instead which caused me to lose even more money in the process. Despite reporting this issue continuously for over a year, NOTHING has been done to fix the problem and recently my wife's NEW vehicle got damaged once again because of unexpected rain. So now I am paying for a double garage that I cant use, not even for storage. Perhaps I should seal up the garage door then I can turn it into my own personal water park every time it rains. We have now paid to have a certified contractor come and take a look and, guess what....The roof is not built up to standard, not even close. If you saw the contractors face when he saw what Innovia did you will understand the absolute mess that they have made of this roof. I have been in contact with Innovia to claim damages and have the roof fixed but of course all they do is stall stall stall hoping that I will give up and pay for the damage myself. Oh, and what's more I know of at least 10 other units in the complex that have the same issue(and much much more) that has already caused significant loss to the owners of those units, so it is not as though Innovia messed up once. Incompetence is one thing, but intentionally cutting corners to save money, then having that corner cutting damage your customer's personal property, then refusing to even acknowledge that the problem exists and purposefully using stall tactics smells like pure fraud to me. To anybody who was thinking of buying a unit build by this company, please don't. It will be the worst mistake you ever make. I sincerely hope that the directors of Innovia read this message and decide to do the right thing...close down the company and join the circus, believe me, it is better for everybody.

My friend has been struggling to get her newly built house just in the condition to live in for almost 2 year since buying a house that Innovia Properties built. It has been a 2 year struggle with Innovia Properties to fix snags on the house, to fix a roof that was not built on standard. During the Cape Town rains, the roof started leaking causing immense damage to the interior. Independent people came to asses and confirmed that the roof was not built on standard. Innovia Properties acknowledged their errors but their is no effort or commitment to fix any of it. How can they sleep at night knowing they are defrauding the people who bought properties from them. Absolutely no honor or pride in the work they do. Innovia Properties is an untrustworthy company that builds sub standard but charge a premium. Do not use them or support them.

This is my umptieth review on this company who claim to develop property in the Brackenfell and Durbanville area.Recently, after three years I had a claim for a leaking geyser. The geyser was still under warranty and was replaced. The attending plumber informed me that future claims in this regard will be voided because my geyser was installed not according to specifications. He listed the errors as against the law.Theae errors were that a pipe extending vertically was not the prescribed 300 mm;that the bends in the pipes were not 45 degrees and that a pipe running from a valve was not from copper but a galvanised pipe.I immediately informed the owner of Innovia,Du Preez, who after a month of promises never reacted again. After three years I am stiil not in possession of at least my plumber's certificate. What is more is that a neighbour who sold his property recently on inspection, discovered that heis geyser too was leaking and he had to personally pay for the abovementioned errors to be corrected. It does seem that all the geysers in this estate was installed in this "unlawfull" fashion.
