The service was poor; your employees require better training to exhibit enthusiasm. When I called at 10:26 to inquire about my Discovery Medical Optometrist Benefits, the consultant lady sounded disinterested and unhelpful. I suggest reviewing the call recording for evidence of this subpar service. Furthermore, I believe it is essential for your consultants to engage with customers in a more positive and proactive manner. Each interaction is an opportunity to build a relationship and instill confidence in your services. If your consultants do not demonstrate the necessary enthusiasm and commitment to helping clients, it diminishes the credibility of your organization. I urge you to implement regular training sessions focused on customer service skills, emphasizing the importance of empathy and active listening. This not only enhances the customer experience but also fosters a more motivated and satisfied workforce. Please consider taking immediate action to address these issues, as they could greatly impact future business opportunities.

If I could give half a star, I would. Only 1 person tried to assist. I think his name was Richardo. Backstory - My prescription glasses frame broke while I was at work. I contacted Flexicare to find out how do I go about this. They said I should call Iso Leso, I did. I was provided with the optometrist I can go to. They lady expressed that my cover for optometry is R790. I was okay with that and I went. I got there, the optometrist told me that the cheapet frame they had was R990. I was okay with settling the difference as on my license, I am restricted to wear glasses. I drive from the east to the west of JHB. I need them. Decided to pay cash and claim back from the medical insurance. They then advised the cover for frames is R150. I asked why didn't I get the breakdown before as I was told R790. Can they tell me which optometrist has frames for R150, I will gladly go there, I didn't get a response. 4 days later, I receive a claim form, I signed and sent. 3 days later, I then called to find out the ETA of the payment as I would like to cancel my membership because I was not happy with the service I received, that is when I spoke to Richardo, but then a rude girl (she didn't give me her name), took over from him and said I wont be getting my portion for my frame, never mind I was wrongly advised when I called the first time. Instead of them explaining it properly, a representative of the company said I should change my medical insurance, I'm definitely taking her advice as it was in the pipeline. She definitely does not value their customers, she doesn't know their processes and this is my money at the end of the day, Its not a donation. You said you will provide a service but she said I get what I pay for. I have asked for the call recording from Friday, They didn't respond, they only responded with the payment run date. Just because I am not paying a million rand, doesn't give anyone a right from this company to speak to me the way that girl did. She has 0 customer service in her. She has 0 active listening skills and she has 0 etiquette. I have never felt so disrespected in my life.

I don't receive statements from this company , PREMIER OPTICAL claimed R790 from my medical Aid and I went there for an eye-test because according to my knowledge they were supposed to claim R250. When I call Isoleso they just give me the run around without giving me proper assistance. I want my money back to my medical aid except for the eyetest I did.

<p>I called to the Call Centre and spoke with Basil to confirm my optical benefits for my 5 year old daughter. What a waste of time!!! He was unhelpful, unsure and SILENT most of our call. He had no clue what he was talking about and showed no interest in my query. He tells me to look for a network provider because his unable to do so on his side, I provide him with details to assist me and he then advised it's not a network provider that's why they won't pay my claim...I was so confused that I ended the call. </p> <p> </p> <p>I made this call after a consultant at Spec Savers called me to advise that I have no optical benefits available...BUT I HAVE NEVER CLAIMED!!! This was confirmed by Pumi at Iso Leso to the Spec Savers consultant.</p> <p> </p> <p>To much disappointment, no one could assist me as I was advised that my benefit does not allow me to submit an updated prescription to be inserted in an existing frame. I would have to submit a consultation, prescription and frame claim before it would be paid. ( Very confused)</p> <p> </p> <p>My daughter has already been to specialist and got an updated script and I have a frame that is suitable for a 5 year old ( unlike the frames I get to choose from). </p> <p> </p> <p>I ask for an explanation why I cannot only claim for the prescription thorough my medical aid? Because that's not how your benefit works I was told by Basil.</p> <p> </p> <p>Calling back the 3rd time to speak to Kaiya - she asked me so many questions to understand my situation and then to confirm that my claim will be paid. She also advised there is no interactions on my membership of previous calls I made and the people who accessed my account!!! </p> <p> </p> <p>Thank you Kaiya for your awesome service and assistance - wish that Pumi and Basil could have given me the same service.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Shanet Khan</p>

<p>I tell you whats the use of paying so much for medical aid and you have to pay in for almost everything. My 9 year old son needs specs he has been wearing it from the age of 2 years old. He went to the opthamologist on the 1st March 2017 now that we trying to get his specs made i have to pay in almost R800, because Bonitas only pays R150 per lense my son's lenses is costing more than R500 per lense. Now they have to motivate why he needs specs. What the heck he has been wearing specs from the age of 2 yrs. The child cannot function without it my word.</p>
