SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE FROM LIFESENSE !!
We submitted a retirement for a client to transfer her provident fund from Lifesense to Allan Gray on 02/10/2024. Since then, Allan Gray has followed up with Lifesense every 6 days from the 14th of October requesting the ROT and Tax directive with no response. No feedback or progress on the side of Lifesense.

SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE FROM LIFESENSE !!

******* financial services company, with the poorest service ever
This is the worst company ever, they don't take calls, they don't reply to emails. They promise to pay in 6-8 weeks, but it actually takes way longer than that. It looks like as we pay our contributions they are spending our monies in bad investments, and when it is time to pay they have to collect from other people then pay after a long time. They could be running an unsustainable establishment that might just close down with people's monies, people must investigate that company.

This is the worst company ever, they don't take calls, they don't reply to emails. They promise to pay in 6-8 weeks, but it actually takes way longer than that. It looks like as we pay our contributions they are spending our monies in bad investments, and when it is time to pay they have to collect from other people then pay after a long time. I don't even know where to start but this is the worst company ever. First of all the money I have been contributing for the past 5 years towards my pension fund doesn't add up! And Noone knows why! I submitted my withdrawal on 30-06-2022 and I have been following up every day none of them has the courage just to call me and update me. Everyday I get a different story infact every agent seems to thumb suck a response... However I must commend Patsy Turnbull only one who actually tries but I'm at a point where I really don't want nothing to do with Lifesense financial services because they are pretty much useless and have zero regard for they clients!!! I need to get them reported to the financial services board they license must be banned!! I HAVE CLAIMED FROM OTHER INSTITUTIONS BEFORE AND MY PENSION FUND WAS SORTED WITHIN A MATTER OF DAYS. WHY THEY MAKE SO DIFFICULT I DON'T UNDERSTAND AND I WON'T STOP UNTIL I GET THEM CLOSED DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE USELESS I HAVE 3 DIFFERENT RESPONSES FROM THEY AGENTS ALL WITH DIFFERENT DAYS OF EXPECTED PAYMENT!!! THAT JUST TELLS ME THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELLL THEY DOING AND WHO WANTS TO TRUST SUCH PEOPLE WITH THEY MONEY??? I AM JUST WAITING ON FSB TO RESPOND WE NEED TO CLEAN UP THIS COUNTRY COMPANIES LIKE THESE ARE TAKING OUR PEOPLE FOR A RIDE!!! THIS TIME AROUND THEY MESSED WITH THE WRONG GUY!!!

Non-response and dishonesty
I'm shocked at the fact that no single review is positive about this lifesensefs company, I was told it takes roughly 8 weeks for them to payout. And yes after so many years of poor service, it's still carrying on with lies and non-response of emails to their clients. I have also been wasting money on calls, eventually I had to stop. I guess they want to earn a little bit more of interest from people's money before they pay out. I tried looking for their CEO's email on the internet but I couldn't find it, but I saw his profile on LinkedIn, I guess the next step for me is to escalate to him on LinkedIn. This does not make sense, I have worked for companies that pays out within 2 weeks or less and now lifesensefs takes so many months pay. Good luck to all those who's provident fund is with lifesensefs.

PROVIDENT FUND PAYOUT
The company I worked for has send in my Provident fund withdrawal to UMBRA in August 2020. Apparently UMBRA has switched to LIFESENSE FIN SERVICES. The period for pay out on the former system was 4 to 6 weeks, since 15 August 2020 until now my money is still not paid to me. No one can give me a date of pay out or a reasonable explanation for not paying as yet. So they sitting behind their computers earning a fat salary cheque while I need my money for survival. The service from LIFESENSE is totally pathetic and I am going to inform my former work's CEO about this. I also see there is several complaints on Hello Peter about the same matter. I also want to know do I earn additional interest on the money they are so slack to pay out?

Complain with Lifesense
My name is Mzamani Baloyi , who worked for HCV and our provident fund was handled by Life Sense financial services and company change the scheme to Evolution Corporate Benefit , I left the company i worked for on the 17 January 2019 on which i withdrawn my fund. According to my knowledge the process takes 4 to 6 weeks to handle the claim but nothing been done till today . I phoned the current scheme Evolution company to follow up on my claim and been advised that the previous scheme ( Life Sense ) need to transfer the other amount in order for them to pay the whole amount , on which they had been promised to get the transfer by GERALD PATMORE on the 27 March 2019 . I phoned Evolution today to follow up and still advised the tranfer not yet done, i then phoned GERALD PATMORE myself to find out what would be the hold up and the guy was so rude and not helpful at all taking into account their turn around time.... i need urgent positive feedback .

I recently resigned and began the process of a provident fund withdrawal it has been well over 3 months now. No feedback has been provided on the status of the matter, if anything is needed from me. Nothing... I have tried to contact them through mail with no response. I have tried calling with all my calls ringing until the call gets dropped. I am willing to change this review if Lifesense starts responding as one would expect from a professional organization like this. I am disheartened with the status of the service industry in South Africa to say the least.

Service is atrocious...
<p>I have been asking for my RA to be transferred to my current employer from February 2016. Today is the 21st June and this transfer has still not been affected. </p> <p> </p> <p>I don't know where else to get assistance. The service is atrocious!!</p>
