First the truck was supposed to arrive at 7am, but it only arrived at 1:30pm. Second the y quoted an 8-ton truck, but when the truck arrived, it was only a 4-ton truck. Third, it appear the 8-ton truck was to smalll for all the stuff that I listed on the request for the quote, so they miscalculated the size of the move. When they finished loading the second load at 18:30, they still did not load a piano, 2 dining tables, 2 big cupboards, a big TV cabinet and several chairs. So they quoted me another 2 4-ton truck loads to finish the move. Then when they arrived at the offloading point, they didn’t want to offload before payment was made. But I showed the driver that my phone’s battery was at 4%, and I cannot guarantee that the transaction will go through, yet he insisted I continue making the payment. So I started the eft, but as fate would have it, my phone died before I could send the POP. Since the move was on a Saturday, the payment will only show on their account after 2 days, so they refused to offload unless the payment shows on their account. Here we are now 13 hours later still waiting for Mr Masere himself to come and resolve the matter. I am not even sure that the John Donald who sent me the quote int he first place, is a real person, because none of the movers knows a person by that name at Masere Logistics. This is by far the worst move I have ever done. I will rather organize another moving company to finish the this move, because clearly Masere is incompetend. I am just glad that we did not have to be out of our old property yet and we have a few days of grace, otherwise this would have been an even bigger mess.

Very poor after service. They claim to be professionals but on moving day it is totally different story, they handled my furnisher with dirty hands. The couches are dirty after washing them before the move. The Fridge stopped working and it can't properly close, they are now avoiding me to come repair my fridge. They are not what they say they are, they quickly respond when you look for moving company and give the lowest quote with insurance - it is all a lie.

Thank you Masere for moving my household items on Saturday! The move went very smoothly and the team were very friendly and helpful. They were also on time as arranged. This was a great experience if you can call moving 'great' :-)

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. John was quick to respond to our request and even visited our home to provide a quote, which we accepted. However, on moving day, they arrived with an inadequately small van for a five-bedroom, four-bathroom house, resulting in eight trips instead of the four originally planned. Midway through the move, John issued a new quote—double the original price—with additional labour charges. Attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. The movers were unprofessional, intimidating, and provided terrible customer service. They were also careless, damaging our antique furniture and responding rudely when confronted. This company operates dishonestly and lacks integrity. I strongly advise against using their services.

DO NOT GET ****MED! I used Masere for over 2 years with every time I moved. The last time I moved I booked the team for two trips at R3000 per trip. Paid upfront and started the move. When we had to collect the second load, they said they were double booked. John Masere then said he would arrange a refund for me for the additional R3000 that I already paid. 13 days later and everyone from Masere is ignoring my calls and WhatsApps. No one is bothering to get back to me and stole my money. I am a single mother and my child will not have a single Christmas present due to this *****ulent behaviour that I never expected from a company that has been honest and has given me amazing service in the past. Seems like as soon as there is money involved, this company CANNOT be trusted!
