Dawie Krynauw, please help. Your Kenilworth Suzuki branch is slow, uncaring, poor at communication. We have had to hand hold every step of the process and beg them to do their work, calling every few days to get updates, to chase documents and information that was promised. Their comms with insurance was suspicious and the length of time it's taken to repair the car (four months) does not match the promised or reasonable delivery timelines.

"Huge shoutout to Shannon from the sales department at the tygervalley branch for the excellent service! Super friendly and professional. I’ll definitely be ordering from Suzuki again — highly recommended!"

Have a problem with the wire less charger in our Grand Vitara GLS. Has never worked. Been to the dealership five times, sat with the DP, Sent four emails, not one response. What more must one do to get this item sorted out 😡

Useless is not even the word, I bought a new Suzuki Swift in 2023 at Suzuki Tygervalley and a few months after my Fuel Gauge was faulty, I took the car in twice they didn’t take me serious, just said they’ve put petrol in and it worked fine again, I ran out of Petrol next to the highway as the fuel gauge said its half full, took the car in again and they said the tank needs to be replaced, took two days off for that, had to take off another two days to bring the car in again just to be told they ordered the wrong tank, I can’t take anymore days off, this is not my problem it’s Suzuki’s, the guy in the Service department didn’t arrange transport for me as he didn’t come into work, I am struggling to get hold of anyone in that service department, now I have to use money that I don’t have for transport to get my car. The most pathetic service I’ve ever had.

While their communication has improved in recent years, they remain hard to get hold of on the phone, and whenever you take your car in for a service there is always a paperwork complication - you wait about half an hour in the morning to book the car in. You'd think they'd be able to scan licence number and mileage and be on your way, but their systems are not able to keep track. The worst however is when I stupidly took out a service plan, extending my honda plan from 3 yr to 5yrs at a high cost. Our car was damaged and had to go to the panelbeaters, who kept the car for a month. As a result we were late for our final service, and the service plan refused to cover us. We were not warned of the service plan expiry, and to date, as expected, they ignored our emails. Mekor says it is Traficc's problem, not theirs, despite the service contract saying Mekor at the top. DO NOT TAKE A SERVICE PLAN, it is a ****.

These complete ***********s told my daughter to come and fetch her new car today. When she got there, had both keys in her hand as well as a gift, the sales manager walked in and said she can't have it because they don't yet have the original NaTIS document. I understand this procedure, but the sales manager also told me that his staff were "trained". DP refuses to call back. In general I have spoken to 2 very rude people and had the phone dropped in my ear 3 times. Just stay away from these rude people!

I bought a Mazda from Mekor Tygervalley in 2021. Upon trying to re-sell my car, multiple dealerships pointed out that my car has been re-sprayed and a poor job was done about it too. So much so, that I cannot settle my car as no one wants to buy it. With 31 000km on the clock, my gearbox packed up. Still under warrantee I took it back to Mazda to fix. My car has been standing there for over a month. I had to phone Celeste over 10 times to follow up and she did not seem to have a clue each time not was there any urgency to get my only mode of transport repaired and back to me. Instead, i was met with deceit and lies about the status of my car.. After reporting this to Mazda SA, things started happening. I got my car back after a month and after multiple follow-ups, and the car was given back to me dirty, full of dust, so I had to get a full valet done myself. And to top it all off, they did not put back the protection plate under the car and left it in my boot. So I am driving with a new gearbox, exposed to all the road elements. Very poor communication, uphauling service and their care for customers and their belongings is absolutely shocking. NEVER buying a Mazda again because of this.

Good morning, I bought a brand new Suzuki S Presso this year March. Few issues from the start as per below: 1. The day of collection the roof light did not work, it was quickly rectified on the spot. I did think this is something that needs to be checked. Not a big deal. 2. In the first week I discovered my radio is not working as it should. I want back to Mekor Tygervalley (dealer) to test. I then had to return again for them to investigate and they had no curtesy car available and I had to work from home which is very inconvenient. I then had to return again for them to remove the radio, I got the radio back 3 weeks later and had to return again to for them to install. The radio is still not functioning great (Bluetooth) I was thinking this is something that should have been tested before selling the car once again. 3. I then (according to me) realized that the car auto/stop start is not working correctly. I asked that Mekor provide some concrete proof that the car is doing what it should and over 6 months later I still don’t have an answer. The curtesy car does what it should, I asked to test a similar car which was a brand new car and that car’s auto/stop start did not even work at all. I will be happy if they can at least show me that all the cars are doing this, same model as what I have. 4. In the first week of owning the car I got a crack in the windscreen which I replaced. Weeks later it started raining and I found rain water leaking into the car. I called Mekor to report it and I went back to PG Glass who replaced the windscreen. They investigated and advised the leak is not with the windscreen. I then returned to Mekor at their request so they can investigate. They had the car for a week and sealed everything, confirmed they found the leak. I received the car and the same thing happened again. I had to return the car again and they investigated again. They sealed everything again and when I received the car I found water leaking in again. I then found scratches on the car which they fixed, I now have paint stains on my steering wheel, not sure what they did. I returned the car again for the 3rd time for this issue. Mekor called me about 4 weeks later and asked me to come have a look at what they found. When I got there the car was stripped, passenger seat and dashboard removed. They found a leak in the windscreen. They showed me by using a pressure hose blasting water from the outside in, I could see the water coming in. I then called PG Glass and they went to Mekor and replaced the glass. I was told that this is now resolved which I will monitor. Week 5, I got a invoice from Mekor of R12500 for their services and labour. I then said there was no authorization from my side to run these costs and there was no communication that there will be a cost. They then offered to drop costs to just over R10000. I refused again and they asked me to come see them. I went to go see them and they offered R7500. I refused again. I was forced to hand their curtesy car back and they refused to give my car back until I pay. I did not have the money at the time and I had problems getting to work and back for 2 days. I then made a plan to get the money, went back and paid so I can get my car back so I can travel to work and back again. I don’t think this was handled correctly by Mekor. I contacted PG Glass and my insurance and they both said they will not absorb any costs as there was no authorization before hand. I agree PG was wrong here as they did their job incorrectly and confirmed on my return that the job was don correctly which was not the case. Mekor should have made me aware that there is a risk involved and that there might be costs, I was never in a position to make a decision on what the next steps would be. I could have had PG look at the windscreen again should I have known there is a risk. For Mekor to perform work without any form of authorization is unacceptable. They should have communicated this before hand and not after the fact, where do you draw the line, they could have come with a cost of R50000 and expect me to pay.
