Absolutely no customer service, Spectra Fibre is worse than the Cellular network offering.

WARNING! This company is a *****, I recently visited a branch in Windhoek and purchased 2 eSIMS. Shortly after the transaction, their system “went offline” and since it was almost 5pm they asked for us to come back the next day, which we couldn’t do as we are staying very far away. The salesperson Mercy assured us they would be online the next morning and they will active our eSIMs but when we tried - there was still an issue.

I am not one of the best Facebook users but am glad that we have platforms like this. I have a problem with one of the business giants of Namibia and need to find out if I am alone. The problem here is MTC our very reasonable and reliable cell network supplier which have declared quite a substantial amount of profit in the last business year. They also have a Code of Conduct which one of the points read as follows: 1.2 Objectives of the Code of Conduct 1.2.1 The primary objective of the Code of Conduct is to ensure that members of the public can use mobile services with confidence, assured that they will be provided with accurate information about all services and the pricing associated with those services. The Code aims to equip customers and consumers with a mechanism for addressing any concerns or complaints relating to services provided by Service Providers, and a framework for impartial, fair and consistent evaluation and response to any complaints made. I also had a look at there Values for a specific reason which read as follows: What we value Integrity (trust, transparency) Customer centricity Stakeholder inclusivity Innovation Ok so now that we know more or less what MTC stands for, I have a Spectra VSAT MTCSpectra-VSAT2Mbps system for 1,751.22 N$ per month of which the installation was also a few thousand dollars. This system was installed Thursday 28/04/2022 and that is where the problems started as well, until today I have not had a proper service which should be 2 GB download speed un capped data continues. Now there is a lot of people that like to complain because they have nothing to do but I have all the evidence for this statement every e-mail and lots of WhatsApp conversations since the system was installed. We also need to be reasonable I mean I also have a business which I have to deliver a service to my clients, some of my clients are Nampower, Erongo Red and Navachab Mine which are also business ty****s like MTC with have very high standards and business values, which means that my service to them must be of a high standard and anything can go wrong. With this taken into consideration I kept an open mind through out the time period since the system was installed and give MTC a change to resolve the problem since the date off installation till today which I think was a fair chance. I have send e-mails and logged tickets and begged for help while the system was off at least 1 or two weeks every month and still are, but I paid every month my full amount otherwise I will be cut off. I also never till today received for one minute 2 GB download speed which are the product that I paid for. We now also need to be reasonable if I get 1,5 GB download that must be reasonable, yes it would be for sure but I get 0,3 GB download speed that is if the system are on which definitely are not reasonable. Ok that was to give you back ground about the problem but what I need to know is am I alone or is there more people that are paying there hard earned money to MTC the corporate giant with the good values every month and do not get the service/value for there money. I already know about 4 clients which is on excactly the same system with the same problem. Please let me know if anybody is getting ****** from their hard-earned money like me.

MTC Namibia has 'de-activated' my pre-paid number/simcard - for whatever reason they did find? This is not a big problem, because I can re-activate it [after making a statement at the local Police that the number actually belongs to me]. The BIG problem is - the credit still available on the specific simcard, has disappeared, miraculously. How on earth do they explain this?

The BIG problem is - the credit still available on the specific simcard, has disappeared, miraculously. How on earth do they explain this?

Mtc must train their call center staff on good customer service. I spoke to a Jetline who is one of their call center agent. When she realized that she cannot assist further she just passed the bug and said I must just go to the nearest mtc store or send an email. I requested to speak with a manager or supervisor but she just said they do not have any on floor as they are in a meeting. I told her that I will wait until 1 become available but she just hang up the phone. When I called again just seconds after she hang up apparently supervisor was now available to assist me. Its just funny how people would beg for a job but when they have it they put down the name and brand of the company. The service was just poor. I expect a call of apology from her. 0812849341

I JUST LIKE TO INFORM THE PUBLIC THAT MTC NAMIBIA IS CROOKS AND THAT THEY ROB THE PUBLIC WITH THERE AWEH SERVICES. IF ONE BUY CREDIT AT A SHOP THERE IS NO TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THAT IS WHAT THEY TELL ME TO READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS. I BOUGHT AWEH GIG AND IN A DAYS TIME THAT CREDIT GOT FINISHED. I'M USING IT FOR WORK PURPOSES AND NOW I CANNOT REGISTER FOR ANOTHER AWEH SERVICE....THEY ARE BUSY WITH DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.<br> I NEED FEEDBACK ASAP.....BEFORE I GO TO THE PAPERS
