Call it what you want netcare / NetcarePlus Gap . Its all BAD NEWS say away South Africans, They over sell what is not there . they don't deliver, they don't pay. they NOT open to get approval when you need them , the call center is terrible. I can ONLY wish some one would warned use

I changed my gap cover after being with the previous one for many years to Netcare as they cover shortfalls on specialists. I put a claim in at the beginning of February. I have resent it a couple of times and wait forever for a response when I query it. When I do get a response there is always a problem or some excuse. I tried calling more than once but got transferred from one person to another and eventually the call is ended. I have requested that they call me on numerous occasions but have not had any response to that either.

I submitted a claim 2 weeks ago, they say their claiming processing takes 7 to 10 working days, however when I called the consultant said she can't see my claim submission. I would like to warn South Africans about this **** called NETCARE PLUS GAP COVER , a claim was submitted on the 27/11/2025,in December the back and forth started when I was doing a follow-up on my claim , one of their consultants Thapelo send me and email stating that a payment(claim) will be made/processed into my bank account on the 7th Jan 2025 and on their clause or benefit it states that : "Co-payments - You will be protected against upfront co-payment for each certain day procedure,like scopes or scans performed in hospital or day clinic".Last night I receive an email stating that they dont cover short-falls for procedures performed in the hospital_***7. SOUTH AFRICANS PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR NETCARE PLUS LIES AND JOIN THESE **** LOOK FOR OTHER GAP COVERS

I'm having the worst experience with Netcare Gap Cover, I was hospitalized and medical aid didn't pay everything. I then paid from my pocket and submitted a claim, from the 20th November I'm still waiting and when I call, they say they are still busy. How long does a claim take to process?

The worst product ,mispresentation of the cover,No value for money , Agents giving wrong information twice on the accidental cover again on the gap cover its 3 years of my premiums going to waste and unfortunately I will be logging a dispute.
