Khetha are my Brokers but they have not done anything in assisting me with my claim with New National (AAA Claims), i have been the one to call and request for updates, my accident was on the 22nd March and even my courtesy car period has expired with no tangible progress on my claim. I have had to hire a car due to my mothers health issues and i cannot be without transport. I have comp**** with all the required documents on time but have been met with attitude and lack of empathy from the consultant at AAA Claims. The reason for me wanting to have a broker is that when you live in rural areas some things are not easily accessible and a Broker would facilitate everything on my behalf but they have done nothing but tell me they are waiting to hear from AAA Claim, who are only contacted by me and not them for an update.

I still hope that no this year is still getting ****med by Affinity Car Insurance aaaclaims or their other subsidiaries. I am still paying for a car I paid for for three years. These are corporate **** artists of note. I will come to this platform every year until they close down.

Be very careful if you have a insurance policy with these people, they have a surveyor called Marlon, that will go out of his way not to pay claims... They dont have a flippen clue how policy wordings work.

Worst experience ever received. I had a car accident on 01/01/2024 logged the claim same day. The insurance assessor took 3 week to state the car was a write off. They asked for additional documents i gave them the same week and 2 week later now the first full week of FEBRUARY when the car hire was expiring they claim they will hire an investigator to investigate the claim. He comes to ask questions and 2 weeks later sends his report back to the insurance on 26 Feb. Now i call the consultant and claims the claim is pending her manager as they received whats has been holding the claim back and will feedback latest Wednesday. On Wednesday they tranfer me to another consultant who says she will feedback on Thursday. On Thursday they give me a new consultant who claims the claim is under investigation. Everyday the is something new about this claim and two months has lapsed with no means of transportation. This insurance lacks transparency.

If I could give them less than one star I would. I had to drive around getting all the paper work myself only for them to deny my claim more than 2 months later. They will look for any reason not to pay. Also for a claim that they had previously settled used the worst/cheapest supplier to do the repairs and then still takes months to get sorted. Please take this as a warning to not do business with them. Also after joining I read the fine print and its shocking what they do not cover. It's a ****.

My two residential rental properties are insured with New National. My husband was dealing with them on my behalf as he has a massive property portfolio that he has with them. One of my properties was vandalized after the tenants had vacated and I was busy renovating the property. I had to pay close to R100 000 in cash to contractors to repair what wa ****** and damaged. New National does not want to pay me for the loss. On my second property the geyser burst and I had it replaced using a plumber that I called out. New National refuses to pay me out for the full claim. This is by far one of the worst insurance companies. They will gladly take your monthly premiums but will look for every excuse under the sun not to assist you when the time comes. Whatever you do, do not insure your properties, vehicles or personal possessions with New National Insurance. They are the worst, most ********* insurance company yet

On 24 December 2022 I had a burglary at my premises. I asked the Insurer for a copy of my policy which they did forward. This stipulated the premises were inspected and in order that never occurred. There was burglar bars and security gate with palisades excluding the sliding alliminium door ,where forced entry was obtained. I have been struggling with this matter since and even involved OSTI, which goes unsaid. I think the Ombudsman will look after the big parties and forget about the little ones on the side that has lost in excess of R 47000.00. Why do we have an ombudsman if they are not even interested. Why should the insured have to query a claim and never get response. All out there be aware of New National. Lesson hard learnt
