I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received regarding a serious issue with my NUMSA funeral policy. From July 2021 to February 2023, my account was incorrectly deducted R533 instead of the correct amount of R278 per week. To make matters worse, the refund I received was approximately R2,000, which does not accurately reflect the significant overdeductions I experienced. Despite my multiple attempts to seek clarification and resolution, I have yet to receive any response. This lack of communication and support is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I sincerely hope that NUMSA will improve its customer service and resolution processes in the future.

Worst union that you can join. They cannot even represent an aggrieved employee who simple wants to change a gang. It has been 2 months. They are all over the place. I gave them reasons concerning safety and being bul**** that is why I to change, and they go on and are influenced by the supervisor and change the reasons saying I want to change due to production. A colleague had a similar incident where she also need and AMCU respreseted the member changed gangs within 24 hours now tell which is the real union. I'm canceling my membership.

NUMSA VWSA IS WORSE UNION THE US IN SA I WAS FIRED LAST YEAR AND I CALLED UMXOLISI INSTEAD OF HELPING ME HE JUST ASKED ME WHAT MUST HE DO TODAY I SPOKE TO HIM AGAIN INSTEAD OF HELPING ME OUT HE JUST FOUGHT WITH ME REAL NOW IF THE COMPANY DIDN'T PAY HIM TO MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T DO HIS JOB KUBA THE ARE LOT OF PEOPLE THAT GOT FIRED WHILE HE REPRESENTED THEM. NOw My Case is late after I communicated with him just two weeks I was fired. 😢

Numsa, I joined this union in 2019 as I got permanent in my workplace. It was really easy to join, just filled in the joining form the I go I was a member.The only thing they have done for themselves is take a 30% on every sick leave payment, deduct a fee every month and failed us in every grievance that employees had. Now I'm that 189 section has been issued to us. The numsa union where even more good for nothing and their shopstupid /representative. My effort to get the hell out of this union has been really frustrating. Easy to get difficult to get out. Do not join numsa union for they are useless parasites.Port Elizabeth branch.

Dear Numsa and all the strikers at Escom. You demanded one hell of a rate. You got only 9% When you started with your **** on 27th of June the ZAR:USD was 15.79 When you decided to accept on the 16 July and crawl back to work the ZAR/USD is 17.13 The ZAR lost 9%, you got 9% You gain Zero, Zilch, Nothing. How stupid can you be?? It will take the country years to recover from your ****** antics. Strike again???

It's 4 months now since I've been communicating with them about my premium, in February they sent an sms about the premiums that are going up and also prompted that if you want to remain on the old premium you only get 84% cover and i filled out a form to say i want to remain and till now i have not received a satisfactory response, i call every week some days they promise me a refund for those months and some days they know nothing about a refund, my old premium was R541 and now it's R699 and to me that is too much, why do they give you options if they are not going to follow?

My first claim with NUMSA and they are refusing to pay out. Took out the insurance over a year ago completed the necessary waiting periods and now that I'm claiming they are declining my claim. I'm not happy with the service that I have received from NUMSA

One of your members has been left stranded by Cde Gift. She was awarded with a Default Award by CCMA earlier this year. She was supposed to be reinstated but Cde Gift from Ekurhuleni Region has made her to wait forever, this is very unfair to this member.
