The Panasonic cordless phone set is a brilliant piece of kit for home use or the office. Really like the sleek design and easy to use interface. I love the different ring tones that are available, which there are plenty to choose from. The numbers are large enough for the older generation to not get frustrated. This is second time using this brand. The first one lasted more than 10 years. Used it as a business phone and it worked everyday. Grease and oil resistant means that they do not get dirty easily and a simple wipe down of a damp cloth restores them to new condition immediately. The only negative seen so far is lack of a loudspeaker on both handsets and the phonebook is not transferred to the second handset. Apart from that, these are solid cordless phones.

I have a top laoder washign machien that was faulty and needed spare parts. I contacted Panasonic who forwarded me on to Screen Vision who are supposed to carry parts. Screeen Vision offered no service, they kept promising me parts and never called me back even after seeveral messages left. I raised this with Panasonic managment and they made promises which were not kept. In Sum: Still no parts for my machine (Panasonic econavi top loader). If you buying a Panasonic washing machine, make sure you know where to get parts as i have not been able to. Would definitely not recommend this product.

I've purchased a Panasonic microwave (NN -ST955S)from Makro Cape gate. The microwave lasted a week when it stopped heating. It goes on but no heating. I took it in to Makro where they told me according to their policy, they will return it to the supplier for assessment and then phone me with the outcome. I waited two weeks then they told me it was ready for collection. Again it lasted a week with the same results. They then gave me my money back. I bought the same product because I thought it was just a failure of one product. The next microwave lasted me 10 months, then the same problem occurred. Now I've been waiting two weeks and nothing yet. When I went there, they are waiting on parts and can't say how long I still have to go without the microwave. I suggest that if you have a policy like that, after two weeks at least give the customer his money back, the voucher you give him/her is anyway for Makro again, so Makro won't loose the sale anyway. I am very upset that I've made a mistake twice buying electrical stuff at Makro! I have the inconvenience of not having a microwave for three or more weeks and they absolutely do not care at all! Panasonic use to be a good name but I am not so sure anymore. No more Panasonic products for me ever again!

It was with a great sense of excitement & anticipation that I visited Tafelberg Furnishers in Bellville on Saturday 15 June 2019 & purchased a Panasonic 55” UHD 4K smart TV. With this came a free Skyworth Android box. A few days later I became aware of a full green screen appearing when switching on the TV & android box. Mind you there was no such issue if the TV was operating on its own built in internal apps. On Saturday 3 August 2018 I sent an email to the Bellville branch informing of this problem & requesting advice. On Sunday 04 August 2019 I received an email from Ms. C. Seyffer where she said she would get back to me the next day(Monday 05 August , 2019) with feedback. Then the following happened: TFB(Tafelberg Furnishers Bellville) called me on Tuesday 06/08/19 at 16h24. I could not answer as I was driving at the time. Next day, Wednesday 07/08/19 at 10h42 I called TFB & spoke to Priscilla who informed me that this was the 1st time she encountered a problem with such an android box & would have to find out what should be done. TFB(Tafelberg Furnishers Bellville) called me again on Thursday 08/08/19 at 10h39. I could not answer once again as work did not allow me at that time( I work at Tygerberg Hospital in an extremely busy emergency ward) . Same day, Thursday 08/08/19 at 15h41 I called TFB & spoke to a TFB staff member. She said Priscilla was on a call at that moment & she would inform her of my call. At this point in time I clearly informed this staff member that I would prefer any communication to be preferably done via email( As you can see we were clearly not successful in reaching one another telephonically). Next day, Friday 09/08/2019 at 12h07 TFB called me yet again. I could not answer the call as it was Friday & Muslim prayer time. On Monday 12 August 2019 I sent another email to TFB,making aware of the miscommunication & my request that we communicate via email henceforward. Till today I have not been advised about a solution to my problem…… PANASONIC S.A(CENTURY CITY) POOR SERVICE(WORSE THAN TAFELBERG FURNISHERS) To find a solution to my problem I thought I would call Panasonic directly…… On Thursday 15 August 2019 at 08h12 I called Panasonic Century City. Janine answered & said she would transfer me to the service department. Subsequently another female staff member answered, but the call was abruptly ended( not from my side). This abruptly ended call lasted 1m46s. At 08h16 I called again. Janine answered, transferred me again to the female staff member who then transferred me to a gentleman called Amrit. I explained in detail my predicament to Amrit, but he said he would have to give me a call back in a few minutes. I requested him to please call me at 09h00 /09h15 as I was going to run an errand and would make myself available at the given time. This call lasted 6m16s. Unfortunately Mr. Amrit never called back till today…… I do not know what to call the above….. Poor service?. Ignorance? Lack of proper training?. Or maybe just a combination of all of these. That I will leave to the senior management of Tafelberg Furnishers & Panasonic S.A. to decide. All that I know is that this level of POOR service was not expected from a reputed dealer like Tafelberg Furnishers & more so Panasonic. I could have purchased the same TV or another brand from other dealers & received much much better service……Will NEVER purchase another product/item from Tafelberg Furnishers or any Panasonic branded item in future. WAY FORWARD/SOLUTION The TV was purchased as a gift for my family, but more than the defective item OR the lack of customer care it is the manner in which I was treated that will leave a lasting impression. That compels me to request that Tafelberg Furnishers please take the Panasonic TV back & refund my monies to my account as was paid. This is the only solution I will accept as I cannot digest mediocre service for high value items. I will also inform ebucks of my intention to return the Panasonic Washing Machine I purchased from them & delivered by Tafelberg Furnishers a few weeks back. Had I known Tafelberg Furnishers would be the supplier, I would never have purchased the washing machine. “To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity & integrity”……. From a very disappointed customer…….

I PURCHASED A 55" PANASONIC TV FROM EBUCKS. WHEN I RECEIVED THE TV I CHECKED THE SCREEN AND IT LOOKED FINE. WHEN I SWITCHED THE TV ON THEN I FOUND THAT THERE WAS A FAULT IN THE SCREEN. I SENT THE TV TO PANASONIC AND THEY REFUSED TO HONOUR A CLAIM. THEY SAY THAT THE SCREEN IS CRACKED AND DOES NOT FALL UNDER WARRANTY.

I was in Italy for holiday, and on my way back I bought a pair of Panasonic earphones (RP-BTS10) at the airport, very happy about my new Bluetooth earphones I went home-Namibia in Africa. When I got home, I wanted to test my new earphones, but it did not want to switch on, so I thought maybe I should just charge it - one of the key selling features is 'Charge within 1.5hours' -while on charge there is a red light flickering as indicated on the instructions, and after 2hours of charging when I tried to switched it on after absolutely NOTHING happened. I decided I will put it on charge for a few more hours, as it maybe needed a "charging boost" for the first time, and leave it over night. The next morning, same thing... NOTHING HAPPENED!! I mailed Panasonic in the UK and they referred me back to Panasonic Africa, who referred my to Panasonic South Africa, as Namibia have no official Panasonic office. Panasonic in Cape Town referred me to the technical office in Johannesburg-who said that they could not help me-, then referred me back to the Cape Town office.... Who then said they can't do anything for me... I want to know what to do now??? as I bought a pair of earphones that is useless which cost me N$600 (more or less 35 Euros) and Panasonic JUST CAN'T DO ANYTHING... I can obviously not take it back to exchange it, as I am not in Italy anymore!!! I am very very VERY DISAPPOINTED Panasonic!!!!!
