We had a terrible experience with this agency. We were made to feel like low-lifes and spoken to very rudely. I recommend keeping away from them if you are looking for someone professional. Horrible experience that gave us a sleepless night. She spoke to us like naughty children.

Worst service ever!!! They are very selective on who they want to assist. I contacted the agent to arrange for viewing and she said she will arrange a viewing time with the owner!!! I am still waiting fornher to get me and I followed up... meanwhile the property has been taken.

We have several properties that Petru Botha Eiendomme lease on our behalf. They've not only been in the business for years, but they are reliable, honest, trustworthy, committed and precise. No stone is left unturned to make sure that both owners and tenants are happy. Once the tenants report a fault, it is dealt with, within minutes where possible. I have never seen anyone get 26 hours of work done in a 24-hour day, like Petru, Linda and the rest of the team. They not only take care of rentals, but are also a great agency to sell property. They are SUPER!

Dis wonderlik om te sien hoe dit altyd uitkom dat ‘n storie wel twee kante het. Meeste van die tyd is dit ook die verkeerde kant wat op web deurgegee word. Ons gedeelte van die verduideliking: Indien ons “woordeliks” kennis ontvang het sou ons die huurders in kennis gestel het dat ons slegs kennisgewings ontvang skriftelik. Die huurders het ons wel later skriftelik kennis gegee waar ons die eiendom weer geadverteer het. Die kennisgewing wat aan ons gestuur was het aangedui dat die huurders se eie woning se huurders uittrek en dat hulle na die woning gaan trek. Ons huurders (Mario) was dadelik in kennis gestel dat indien ons nie 'n huurder het wat goedgekeur is nie, gaan hulle nogsteeds verantwoordelik bly vir die huur nadat hulle die eiendom ontruim het. Waar ons huurders vir ons bevestig het dat hulle dit so verstaan. Ons huurders het ‘n persoon na ons verwys wat glad nie gekwalifiseer het nie, waarna hulle toe baie ongelukkig was omdat hulle nogsteeds verantwoordelik bly. Die rede waarom ons die deposito terug gehou het is dat in hul kontrak wat hulle onderteken het bevestig dit dat hulle verantwoordelik sal bly tot nuwe huurders verkry word. Die inspeksie was nie voldoende nie, indien ‘n huurder ontruim moet die eiendom skoon en reg terug ontvang word. Daar was gebreke wat herstel moes word en die eiendom was nie skoon nie. Ons moet skoonmaak dienste inkry om die eiendom skoon te maak. Na ‘n heen en weer korrespondensie met die eienaars en huurders het die eienaar toegestem om die herstelwerke self te doen op sy eie koste maar die huurders moet vir die skoonmaak betaal dan kan die deposito uitbetaal word. Ons het soos op bevestiging van die eienaar die deposito terug betaal aan die huurders. Ons as ‘n eiendoms agentskap mag en kan nie enige huurder se deposito terug hou nie. Al wanneer enige agentskap dit moet doen is as die eiendom nie in die toestand is soos dit aan huurder oorgegee was nie. Die huurder is verantwoordelik vir die huurder se eie gebreke. Indien die eiendom nie skoon is vir die volgende huurders nie, is dit die vorige huurders se verantwoordelikheid vir die skoonmaak kostes. Ons doen ons volledige inspeksie met fotos voor huurders in ‘n woning intrek, indien die huurders uittrek doen ons weer ‘n volledige inspeksie. Die fotos word vergelyk en die skade ens word deurgegee na huurders wat hul verantwoordelikheid is. Ons by Petru Botha eiendomme lewer ‘n profesionele diens aan die eienaar en sowel as die huurder. Ons is die middel persoon wat na ons eienaars sowel as ons huurders moet kyk tot die beste van ons vermoë!

Petru Botha property letting agency places tennants in units of Townhouse complexes who blatantly ignore the rules of the complex and registered rules of the trustees. She is aware that the tennant is ignoring and breaking the rules and refuse to take action. The tennant signed a contract with her after he read the rules of the complex but still ignores it and she pulls up her shoulders when the trustees contacts her

Na 1xMaand Woordeliks en 2x maande skriftelik kennis dat ons gaan verhuis, n 100% inspeksie /terug neem van sleutels en die reeling vir nuwe huurders om in te trek. Is ons nou, ons Deposito kwyt en verwag hulle ons moet nog 3 maande se huur betaal. Daar is perke tot hoe ver jy mense kan druk. Eerlike/werkende mense. Wat die perseel nog opgepas het ook. Nee nee nee!

Na 1xMaand Woordeliks en 2x maande skriftelik kennis dat ons gaan verhuis, n 100% inspeksie /terug neem van sleutels en die reeling vir nuwe huurders om in te trek. Is ons nou, ons Deposito kwyt en verwag hulle ons moet nog 3 maande se huur betaal. Daar is perke tot hoe ver jy mense kan druk. Eerlike/werkende mense. Wat die perseel nog opgepas het ook. Good Day I hope you are well. Issues are as follows 1. I have been trying to contact Petru Botha Properties for 3 months now to come my and fix my leaking bathroom floors and broken Kitchen sink since the day they moved me into this apartment. From the first day I stepped foot in this flat they promised me that these matters would be resolved that week till this day they have been avoiding my calls and emails. There is a lady by the name of Druana who works for the Agency - she was all sweet when she wanted me to sign the lease now whenever i call her to explain whats going on she responds aggressively with racist comments and hangs up the phone! I have even tried calling the owner of the property he is even worse of a criminal he always says he is coming but never pitched in turn I am sitting with a flooded bathroom and a broken sink yet I am paying monthly till today they have not fixed it. 2. Electricity - The agency has made it compulsory for me to buy electricity from them directly and they send me the voucher pin but never send a receipt. For 3 months now I have been buying electricity but no receipts! they further told me that I can only buy a minimum of R200 electricity! R200! so on a bad month I cant even buy R150 ?! but thats just the beginning when I buy R200 electricity for my mothers home i get about 160 units but when I buy it from them i only get 89 units I asked about this till today I have not been provided with a receipt to show where are they buying they electricity and why am I not allowed to buy my own units. 2.1.Electricity - As mentioned above I have my own prepaid box in my room but its connected to the main house and I am in a backroom with 2 other tenants beside me. Now if the main house tenants decide not to buy electricity, Our electricity at the back is also cut off irregardless whether I have units in my box or not, what kind of living condition is that? This has happened 2 times now that whoever is renting in the main house decided not to buy electricity then automatically my electricity is cut off. Just recently i tried getting ahold of Durana and the Agency they told me to buy R50 electricity for the tenants in the main house, firstly they told me R50 units are not available now they are insisting I buy R50 units for the other tenants how so? again Im left buying electricity for other people’s household so I can have lights in my own apartment. Petru Botha Properties are running some sort of scam here and sadly I feel like the victim of such i urge anyone who wants to rent no to use any of they properties. I have also reported this matter to eskom because it does not make sense to me why am I being charged ridiculous amounts of money for electricity and even worse why am I connected to a main house when I have my own prepaid box these connections seem illegal, something must be done about this.
