I just spent 14 minutes and 30 seconds on hold with checkers sixty60 after going through the entire app, trying their online help, AND their whatsapp line to get a simple answer to a question that should not even exist. HOW DO I LOAD A VOUCHER CODE ONTO MY APP so that I can place an order? This is absolutely ridiculous. I demand my money back for airtime. And as an entrepreneur, I don't just get paid for showing up - I get paid for work done. While sitting on the stupid phone while someone is "on lunch" for 15 minutes, I'm losing out on money, which makes the voucher worthless. What is this country coming to??
I've been a loyal customer of Canvas and More for quite some time now, and with each experience, they continue to impress me. My most recent order, placed last Thursday, was nothing short of remarkable. To my surprise, it arrived swiftly from Cape Town to Uvongo KZN by Monday. A big shoutout to Duran and the entire team for their exceptional service!
2 Stars, because at least their social media team is good. I spent since before 6am trying to place an order for urgent 21st gifts. I only got money today and I really thought by 9am the order would be placed and paid for. Alas, their site doesn't work and their consultants just couldn't care less about helping. 1) my ticket was closed because I didn't respond during loadshedding. 2) couldn't find my order 3) just refused to help. Can't access emails, can't spell, just a general no care attitude. I thought it's a RELIABLE source of gifts. It's the exact opposite.
I just unpacked the canvasses I ordered few years ago after they had been on the walls in my old house for a few years, and then in boxes for several months and had to write a review. The quality of these canvasses is only outshined by the service. I like the personal attention I received and how quickly they delivered. Super grateful and look forward to ordering more.
I've been with Axxess for years, but lately their service is just going down by the day. About 2 weeks ago, I upgraded my hosting service and it's been a horrible experience. Things are not working and they refuse to assist me. Apparently they have a block on my IP address and that's why I can't get into the IWhost panel. But I also can't access my sites' front ends. Nobody else can access it either - just Axxess (or so they say). So I now have to get them to manually unblock every visitor??? Should I put in my ads "sorry but my sites only work if I have axxess take 3 days to unblock your IP address"?????? I'm absolutely disgusted by this lack of service.
Some time ago, I was dissatisfied with a product from PerfectAire and all the people I contacted were quite unhelpful. However, I got in touch with Marcelle from PerfectAire who explained to me how to make the most of their products. She was SO friendly, SO helpful, SO personable and extremely professional. We've been communicating for close on a year now with me asking questions and yesterday ordering concentrate and a replacement bowl. Her response to emails is lightning fast and thorough. It's an absolute pleasure to do business with her.
Initial message to Makro: I bought my Milex Airfryer from Makro Online on 29 November 2019 and absolutely loved it. However, one day it simply didn't turn on. It has a 2 year guarantee and I would like to return it for a replacement. As you can see by the attached screenshots, I have contacted Makro and logged the return SEVERAL times - 7 May was the 3rd time I contacted them to no avail. I just want the item collected and replaced, as per the guarantee. I was patient up until now, because of the lockdown. However, there's no excuse anymore. Life is back to normal, and if I ordered new items, they would be delivered in a couple of days. And there's absolutely no valid excuse for that phone call and the level of incompetence and no-care attitude. They called me last Friday, but the individual who called me was so incompetent she asked for my phone number. You can see the rest of the conversation in the screenshot (attached). I never received the promised phone calls either - not that I want phone calls. I just want the item replaced. Subsequently I've been dealing with people in the CEO's office and despite beautiful promises, they have done absolutely NOTHING to sort the issue out. Their excuse is that couriers aren't working, which is lies. I see couriers in our complex every day and I've ordered items from other stores that were delivered.
I ordered a gift for my son's birthday from HiFi Corp on the 29th. It was an online exclusive deal that promised delivery within 3-5 business days. I messaged them last week to ask where the parcel was, and received no response. I complained on their Facebook page and received a useless response that someone would be in touch. Tonight my kid is having a birthday party, and he has no gift. Thanks, HiFi Corp. I will NEVER buy anything from you again. This is utterly pathetic.
My husband called Telkom on the 14th to arrange for our phone line to be moved on the 15th of April. They said they would SMS a reference number within 48 hours. One the 20th, he phoned again (no number yet) and they said his application went missing because of load shedding and because there's a new team. They captured the data again. Again they said they will sms a number. On the 25th I applied online, because still no reference number. And guess what? More than 48 hours later, I STILL don't have a reference number. HOW am I going to be online once I have moved? This is horrible service.
