I recently purchased the Quality Sellotape which has proved to be a totally unusable waste of money. It just comes off in unusuable strips & not in in the width strips. What a waste of money & suggest Checkers return to supplier.
Last week I ordered an appliance & was told it will be delivered today, 15 Dec 2025. Advised that courier had collected it but no Courier name or ability to track my delivery. It's now late afternoon & no sign of when my appliance will be delivered. Makro should supply the Courier name so that clients can track ETA when delivery will be completed!!!
14th October 2025, Momentum appointed a tow truck to take my Opel car to a garage to investigate engine overheating emergency warning. Tow truck registration CAA168 338 driver didn't give his name but told me he would contact me about to where my car was delivered & I heard nothing from him. I asked Momentum to tell me where is my car & received a reply giving totally incorrect information! I then phoned all CT Opel dealers & eventually located my car at Opel Belville. I spoke to a manager who took my contact number to let me know about what needed to be done. He didn't contact me, so today 20 Oct., I phoned again & spoke to a helpful service manager, who told me that my car had been left there without any documentation so he didn't know who to contact nor what was the mechanical problem. This kind of service from Momentum Insure, Rowena Abrahams is totally unacceptable after I have been their client for many years.

My Whirlpool large fridge/freezer was collected from me, for repair on Saturday 26 July 2025. I was promised to be emailed a repair quotation prior to collection but still have had no contact from Cape Town Appliances. I paid Junior R748.00 just for his call out, to assess the appliance: Inv 74976. The website Chat to us doesn't work!
I've had 2 accounts with Lloyds Bank & TSB, for over 60 Years. Both accounts are in good credit. On 2 July 2025 without any prior notification, Lloyds has closed both of my accounts! All I'm told is possibly because I'm an expat, but I haven't been notified of the account closure, nor can Lloyds Call Centre assist by giving me any contact details about how to get my money back!! My assisting UK family are also not getting any Lloyds Bank help information for me. In fact, it appears that Lloyds Bank has ****** my funds.
After shopping, I receive email survey asking me to rate my experience. It is impossible to complete blocks due to an unknown format.
I have recently relocated & rented a house in Table View. I went to ABSA bank Table View, with the details & was told that they will not change my address without a copy of the 24 page Rental Agreement! They refused to accept Page 3 of that Agreement, which gave fully signed details of the owner, address & my details. I own both a lucrative Savings & Investment accounts, for well over 20 years & get treated like this!! I would really appreciate it if somebody from ABSA will assist me as I do not believe that my full 24 page 12 month Rental Agreement is of concern to the local branch.
5 days ago, I ordered & paid R 2,668.96 for a table & chairs: Order #86170] (April 10, 2025 to be delivered. Order was acknowledged but they have not given me any date/time of the delivery & do not respond to my email requesting this information.
Having ordered & paid for an item, I was later informed that it wasn't available. Hence, I expected a refund! Instead, Makro has twice sent a courier to collect this item instead of refunding me for what they couldn't supply! Item Multiwrap Cling Wrap.
