Rgs' Laser crafted widget puzzle is the most stunning, challenging, fun puzzle I've ever done!! Deviously difficult in puzzle piece design, even a little sadistic, with beautiful colours and very cool widgets! You've got me hooked!! 😅
I usually praise The Courier guy but today I'm highly disappointed. After receiving an sms and email to say that my parcel is out for delivery and waiting for said delivery, I receive an email saying "Delivery attempt failed", having not received an Attempted delivery. I waited all day for it, to say the attempt failed is nonsense, you didn't try. Rather just say you close early on a Saturday or "knocked off early", please don't talk porkie pies!!
The Willows offered a spin and win competition at the Whale festival earlier in the year. All you had to do was have a look at their accomodation offerings and spin the wheel for a discounted weekend at the resort. I won a 50% discounted weekend and my boyfriend won a free weekend so we booked, brought granny from East London and headed off to the Willows. What they didn't tell you was that you wouldn't be housed in the accommodation shown but in a mouldy back unit without the same facilities as shown. We had tried to book a front unit(as shown) with indoor braai(during winter) but were told it wasn't available. On requesting to move from the mouldy back unit once there, suddenly the front unit was available but at extra cost. I think this is a very disappointing, ***** way of doing business and needless to say, we didn't go back to use the other voucher. Very poor business practise and we felt rather conned. Leaves a very bad taste.
Spar Humerail, after years of shopping in your store for everything from butter to braai meat, veggies to wors, I'm deeply disappointed of late. The quality of the produce has gone down the tubes with rotten broccoli that's been cut so you'd be aware of packaging it like this!! My favorite chicken kebabs were definitely not fresh with a certain smell to them. I've had tummy trouble ever since! Prices have gone up dramatically and quality had gone down. Now you are making us queue like cattle down your sweet Row. I'll buy chocolates anyway without this but I used to appreciate the quick response/short queues at the tills. As convenient as you are to me, I'll have to change my shopping habits. Very disappointed after many years of supporting you.
I bought my bike and accessories from Wayne Pheiffer Cycles a while ago but my little computer was playing up. I popped in with my bike to see if they could help me. Wayne came and helped me to try and fix it and ended up completely replacing it and fitting a new one(since Ryder products have a lifetime guarantee). He also helped me fix my front brakes that were sticking. I realised that the back brakes were also sticking so the next day, he adjusted them for me. It's like a new bike!! Thanks for the great service Wayne!! 😉👍
I bought R500 worth of data on the 15th of May, over two weeks ago and I have still not received my data. I have sent them the proof of payment and my ID and details a number of times, driven to the Cell C store 3 times, I have had to buy data to keep me going 4 times and I have escalated the case with Customer care about 7 times! I cannot get to speak to anyone in finance and know believe that I am never going to get the data that I paid for. This is theft!
I have been waiting for an overnight delivery that was sent on the 11th of May. I understand that there may be a slight delay due to the lockdown but I have received other packages via other courier companies without delay. What concerns me is that there is ZERO tracking information on their system and zero accountability taken by anyone of the 4 people that I have spoken to. I have been promised that they would call me back to let me know what has happened to my package but that was a full week ago! I have had my call cut about 5 times! I can only conclude that my package has been stolen as no-one will take responsibility!
I have been having my hair cut and colored at Raisormaids for over 10 years and it's always a great experience. They have now moved to New premises in Villiers rd, Port Elizabeth and it is a stunning space to relax and be treated!
After investing many years ago with Barclays wealth management, my father passed away leaving his accounts to my mother. My mother tried to get her funds paid out from Barclays for a period of about 6 years and Barclays denied having the accounts. I tried to help my mother to access her funds as she was ill and dying but still to no avail, Barclays put a hurdle in the way each and every time. Eventually knowing that she had passed away, they finally agreed to pay out but now needs a Jersey grant of probate to do so which can only be achieved in person. They are well aware that we are South African and cannot simply walk in and get this. Barclays have acted in a disgusting way, accumulating many expenses with hours on the phone, writing letters and couriering documents to them. THEY HAVE STILL NOT PAID OUT THE FUNDS WHICH THEY ARE HOLDING ONTO AND ARE NOW MAKING IT OUR PROBLEM. Barclays wealth management Jersey are a bunch of crooks and do not deserve to have any clients investing funds with them!
I booked a flight online which was for Air Seychelles, a subsidiary of Etihad airways. On check-in I was advised that the visa documentation did not match my passport details that they would contact the Indian embassy and try to sort it out. It was a case of a 0 which had been saved as a O so looked exactly the same to the untrained eye and obviously the Indian embassy had done so in error. To cut a long story short, I was denied boarding being told that I could ring them the next day, there were seats available so I could fly the following day at no extra charge. Well of course that never happened! Air Seychelles would not even try to help me and Etihad booked a new flight at an extra R5000 which is almost the cost of the initial flight. Not only did I get the wrong information fed to me but was charged a huge upgrade fee for something which was not necessary as you can get a visa on arrival in India anyway and the Visa that I had had been stamped as "APPROVED'! This not only cost me the extra flight charge but a new local flight in India of R1800 and an extra transfer of R700 plus missing the first day of a really expensive retreat! Add serious food poisoning to that on the return flight, resulting in a fainting incident and it was a seriously bad experience! One very unhappy traveller! Dione
