I had a Pedicure Plus done at their Century Village Branch, and when I asked what it included, the word polish was mentioned, so assumed this meant nail polish. However, this turned out to be an added fee, which I had not budgeted for. Every other pedicure I have ever had elsewhere includes the nail polish, so I feel their pricing is misleading.
Popped in to get their advertised Beef & Pork Mince on special. Sadly nothing was available. Spoke to the butcher who was more than happy to prepare me a small batch. Thank you. Forgot to get the butchers name (male) but he was on duty yesterday (Saturday 28th June'25) at around 1pm. Thanks again
Purchased prepaid electricity via the Clicks website. A glitch in the system from the Prepaid Vendor resulted in me being debited for the purchase amount but never received the generated token, and had to repurchase again. Logged a complaint with Clicks and thought this would take ages to sort out. However within a few days all was sorted out. A very special thank you to Teri Bruinders for all the assistance.
We were a bit hesitant to pursue our complaint with CSOS. However, to our surprise, it seems to work very very well, and our issue with the Body Corporate were resolved via the organisation. A very special thank you to Tammy Lee for all her assistance.
As a regular, happy customer of the Aramex Store to Door service, I am highly disappointed in the delay of my Christmas parcel sent to family from Century City, Cape Town to Mandeni, Kwa Zulu Natal. It was deposited at the store on the 18th December and it has still NOT been delivered yet. As many of the baked Christmas foods will have expired by now, this is a complete let down and despite my repeated enquiries and false promises of delivery, we are still waiting. I am most disappointed and will need to find a more reliable service in future.
Due to strict dietary requirements for health reasons, I needed to request a plain Chicken Mayo toasted sandwich, instead of their usual Chicken pesto one, and was delighted when they agreed to assist. However, what was served was extremely disappointing. Not only had they forgotten to add the mayonnaise, but the few morsels of chicken bits were dried up and overcooked. When the portion size was pointed out to both the waiter and manager, they assured us that the amount met their weight spec. Although the amount of chicken seemed stingy compared to other restaurants, I would have thought additional chicken should have been added when you are excluding the other ingredients, especially since there was no reduction in the price charged for it. However, this was not the case. As a regular and previously happy customer of Bricklane Eatery, I won't be returning in a hurry...
I recently ordered some sympathy flowers to be delivered on the Thursday. Whey Netflorist contacted the person to deliver them, they were not available until the Saturday, so happy that they agreed to reschedule the delivery, at no extra cost. However, I was informed that they could not find the address, despite sharing a location pin and the recipient had to go to the corner shop to collect them herself. Also,, once again the flowers that were delivered looked nothing like the picture shown on their website. However, after going back to take a screen shot as proof, I see there is a small terms and conditions that states that the flowers are delivered in bud form, which many people are not aware of. I feel this looks less attractive and does not make a first good impression. despite that they will last longer, I would much rather prefer at least some of the flowers to be in bloom so that the recipient can at least see what flowers they are getting and to confirm the colour.
After reporting an issue with our order, we were delighted at the speedy response and the efficiency of how it was resolved. This far exceeded our expectations and confirmed our commitment for Butlers to remain our first choice for delicious pizzas! We can't wait until their business grows big enough to warrant our own branch in Century City!
Despite numerous complaints and requests, the Table Talk is no longer being distributed anywhere within the Century City area, which is a suburb that falls within its jurisdiction. I am having to travel all the way to the Milnerton Library to get a copy and even then, they either did not receive any or are already out of stock.
We tried our first experience of this company to send a large box from Cape Town to Ruimsig in Gauteng and was very impressed at the cost and the speed it took! Although the App needs improvement, and it was a bit confusing when our drop off point was not a locker but an office, it was a smooth transaction.
