Disgusting, Cape Town Station is a shame with no Leadership. Too many staff doing nothing but seating around and chatting to each other and playing with their mobile phones. How long are we going to destroy important facilities. The worst is that all these places are managed by University Graduates who are clearly failing and getting paid large amounts to destroy facilities. Gosh the place is a slump with plenty staff on duty
The conduct of the security personnel at Cape Town Station is horrible if I put it mildly. They want to scream and shout at you the client. They are intent on having the last word shouting while in uniform in full view of the patrons. Their colleagues support their trashy behavior, the is no law nor respect there period
According to PnP at Picbell Arcade in Strand Street Cape Town you cannot withdraw cash sent to you if you do not have the phone with you. I asked how the phone is going to protect me or the sender versus Voucher number written down and I insert the Pin. The manager very arrogantly said that is the policy and I asked to see the written policy and could not provide. Four months I am still waiting for the Food Poisoning claim with nothing solid coming from them. Worst customer assistance store ever.
Ordering KFC online and checking out as guest paying with card is a shock no one must ever experience, as I write this, I still do not have the order I placed nor got any assistance from the customer service call center nor the Store Manager at Long Street Cape Town store where I was meant to collect the order. I placed the order and the system asked for my address and indicated the closest store for collection which is the Long Street to me. I then placed the order and no confirmation email. I did not eat for lunch and two hours later the store calls to say they have found the order. Shocking service to put it mildly but very disappointing
There is a gentleman working for the fraud department by the name of Isaac gosh he is a germ. he is at work to assist and resolve, unlike some of his co-workers who are there to sound clever and offer various excuses of all sorts. He listens and does not offer defense because he is there to resolve issues experienced. He does not take matters personally to the extent of being defensive. He is a star period
Trying to get in touch with their customer care is purposely made impossible with the stupid and racist voice prompt. So if you have a non white tone the system does not recognize you meaning there is no customer service for you. What a racist ****
Two unhappy incidents in this hotel have convinced me this is not a place to book anyone, the Dom rooms especially. The first incident involved the establishment wanting guest to bring a picture of the low rate they got online in order for them to steal the client. Example if I went on Agoda to search for accommodation then take a pic of their rate then the hotel will book me at that price regardless of the fact that their rate is way more than Agoda. Now the issue with me was the fact that taking a picture of the laptop screen with the iPad could not have all the booking details on one pic, so i took two pictures indicating the room as well as the final price including taxes. The argument with the reception guy was about that and I was very unhappy and angry to a point where I lost my cool but that was resolved. I continued staying at his hotel for an additional 4 days and the room was cleaned twice only to a point where I opted to do the cleaning myself including the dishes that were all over the two basins. The housekeeping ladies were happy to pass me a broom and a mop and mentioned that they do not have dust pans I should use paper to pick up the dirt. Later that afternoon two Ladies came into the room saying they are from housekeeping, I responded by saying to them thank you and showed them how dirty the balcony was including the dirt bin that was full, one of the ladies named Lauretta responded back saying, " Listen here if you pay cheap**** you are going to get cheap****. I was extremely unhappy with her response and it did not stop there. Another argument upstairs started about a bed with another customer, the same lady said to that customer " Listen take your **** and **** off back to that bad, I then got very upset cause how can an employee use such language to a customer. I insulted her back and she did not stop but responded back in insulting me too. I then promised to hit her and told her what I thought of the hotel, the lady came down the stairs and said I should hit her, I pointed a finger at her and again promised to hit her, this lady laid her hands on me grabbing me by the shirt and head butted me, I responded and clapped her and other guest in the room tried to stop the fighting. The ladies then left the room and a few minutes later a gentleman from the hotel came and asked me to leave their hotel and never to book here again saying I hit a woman. I argued my case and then he got information from the other guests who were present that his staff member is the one that hit me and I responded back and clapped her. He then changed his stance and left the room, a few minutes later a lady walked in asking for me. Right there in front of everyone she evicted me and said they will refund me for the day. I asked her why must I be evicted and she said that I hit her employee. I asked who she was an she said she is the Hotels General Manager, I said to her does she know what really happened and she said she does and has a rights to evict me at anytime they want citing Right of admission rule. I again refused to vacate the room as I was the one violated by the hotels employee. I asked her to call the police rather and she then walked out. I then went to the police to lay an assault charge and was given a J88 form to take to the hospital. I was attended 4 hours later at the hospital and the doctor picked up a cut in the tongue and lip. I went back to police station to finalize the case but they decided to take me back to the hotel as the hotel had called them to evict me. After refusing to vacate the room and be on the streets I asked them to find me accommodation elsewhere which they refused. After much argument and the police supporting my call they agreed to let me spend the balance of the morning at the hotel. There is a lot wrong about this hotel including the danger of guests getting hurt very badly from the roof pillar they have to duck when going to bed especially when the lights are out. I did hurt myself on this extremely dangerous pillar. This hotel has no regard for the customer and clearly hates those who stand up to their constitutional rights.
The worst and most arrogant attitude goes to the gentleman that was the manager on duty yesterday Friday the 04 March at the ENGEN store in New Brighton Gqeberha( Port Elizabeth) He is a shame to put things mildly and his attitude seemed to say waste your time and point my flaws you are going no where cause I am untouchable. I arrived at the store at 19h50 to find a few people waiting outside to purchase lotto tickets, the very helpful and friendly cashier lady informed us that the lotto machine is not working and she arrived at work for the night duty to find it so, meaning the previous shift did not call for help to fix it. She asked us to wait and advised us that the lotto only closes at 20h30. A few minutes later those with transportation left to go over the express way to Sasol in Sidwell for their lotto and us without had to wait it out. At 20h15 I went inside the store to purchase water and was served by the gentleman in a red sweater who I came to understand was the on duty manager. I asked him if the lotto was okay now and he irritably shouted that is was not working. I then asked him why he did not call for assistance at the beginning of his shift only for him to scream at me that it is not working and he found it like that. I told him that he has options, either to stay at home or be at work and do his work minus excuses. He then gave me my change without any receipt and he walked outside to press his mobile while laughing at me being upset for the fact that I was denied the opportunity to play the lotto. I am sorry to say but that gentleman man should either be demoted or charged for misconduct, he is not there to serve but to collect remuneration in my view. The courtyard was also chaos with vehicles all over cause there is no management there with this man with no name plate.
