I went to buy a washing machine and saw the LG was on offer with a "pensioners" discount for around R6200 (cannot remember the exact amount), plus the discount. Decided to buy it, but when I went to pay, there was no discount because I was told there was no margin. (by several staff) Never mind the price proudly displayed with the yellow across the top, which I believe indicates a pensioner's discount??? I call this false advertising, then remove the yellow on the price which is displayed...
I bought a pair of slippers on Friday at The Crazy Store - The Glen. Although they are the size I always wear, they are a bit small. I went today to exchange them for one size bigger, till-slip and slippers in hand. Only to be told I would have to pay R20 because when I bought them, they were on special, and today there is no special, and the price on their system is R20 more. I ask you with tears in my eyes, for the exact same item, I must pay more. I told the lady not to bother, I will wear them as is... I wondered if I asked for a refund, if I would get R20 more back?? As a pensioner R20 is a lot of money...
First, getting my phone off contract (ended over a month ago) and onto prepaid was a miracle. Now after a 2-year contract is finished I am battling to get the Network unlocked .... Last Wednesday I got a reference, and was told 24 hours, tried to follow up on Friday, but it was said the 24 hours are "working hours" and it would be Monday afternoon. I tried today, but this phone is still NETWORK LOCKED. THE TICKET NO. IS REQ000005695365. Could someone pleaseeeee tell me what to do...

Don't buy a Vodacom sim card at Checkers, they charge R1. Game say 1c but actually give it to you for free....
I have been trying to port my number to Vodacom, followed numerous instructions, and been there 3x, always offline. Now 5 days and I still have had no success...
These people hound you for interest on SABC licence, not happy you've paid, put alerts on your name. When you contact them to work out a payment. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED!!!!!!
How does one get any kind of assistance from this department???
I am trying to sort out a payment from my son who lives in Hong Kong. He did the payment on 18/7/2023. Normally I get a message from Capitec the same or the next day. I have not heard anything. Spent hours trying to phone, left a message and sent an email. All to no avail. Would appreciate some advice on what my next cause of action should be.....
Original order placed 6 May 2023, was told the order was being processed, waiting for the product. Then I got a message the order was cancelled!!! Not sure if Casper did it. After submitting a query as to why? Next thing it was back on order and is now only being delivered on 16 May 2023. I have been a customer for many years and I find this service shocking and the fact that you cannot complain to a human being.......
