Been without fibre now for more than 41 hours. No feedback. No communication. It costs us a fortune in data because the fibre that we pay for, does not work. Vodacom is a circus and the tech dept is run by clowns.
Food didn’t arrive after almost 2 hours. No explanation on the app. Impossible to speak to a human. Just constant recordings and automated nonsense. Stay away if you like your money.
I have been waiting for the last 14 days for Afrihost to connect my fiber. The only fiber provider here seems to be Vodacom - which Afrihost has contracted to provide service. I have not received a single word from Vodacom. I followed up with Afrihost multiple times to reach out to Vodacom but they only reply that it’s still within their SLA. Who is the clown in your employ that agree to a 14 day SLA in Johannesburg??? Only after 14 days will they even look at doing something. I have never received any feedback from Afrihost. Not once have they tried to contact me back. Not once did they try and address my concerns. Not once did they make a single bit of effort to ensure that THEIR service provider does ANYTHING to provide a service. If you are looking for the most pathetic ISP on the country, congratulations; here they are. What a disgrace.
They have reduced staff, reduced branches and now they have branches filled to the brim with people sitting and waiting. Been sitting at the Woodmead branch for an hour just to change contact details. Cannot be done online. They know you don’t have a choice and frankly, they could not care less. We have been tying, unsuccessfully, for a month now to get our dog from Ghana to South Africa. She has travelled all over the world, even to Nigeria, without any issues. This time, we decided to use GP to bring her back home. The service has been nothing short of dismal. They don’t seem to communicate with the agents sending her from Ghana. My wife is in a state as she has to constantly ask what’s going on. There is no communication. The dog’s blood has been at the airport for testing for almost two weeks. Apparently GP may not follow up with the state vet on when the bloods can be released. Who must do it then? Us? What do we pay them R19k for?? To complete a few forms?? This is, frankly, the worst service of any pet transport company ever.

I have sent numerous emails to change my details as I have left the country but received absolutely no reply. I cannot phone their 086 number and their website do not provide an International number. They are very happy to take my money but please don't ask them to provide any customer service!!
Since they decided to reduce staff a while ago, this bank is the most useless in the country. They don’t reply to emails, they don’t solve online payment issues, they don’t call back as promised. My advice to anyone looking for a bank: Don’t pick Standard. Read the other comments on hellopeter. Then Run away as fast as you can!!
I have had my watch now for three years. It is beautiful, it keeps the time excellently and it has been a conversation piece because of its retro design. I have received many compliments through the years on my watch. Keep going Matt Arend.
<p>So, as a follow up on my previous complaint on the 5th of December. We were told that a 4MB line is apparently not adequate to watch movies and play online games at the same time. The line continues to drop, speeds continue to vary. Today we again, phone the call centre to complain about the line that is, again, extremely slow and because it drops frequently. We were told we are lucky that it only dropped 3 times today!! We must take the router to one of our family members and go and test it there. We have only had this thing for THREE WEEKS!!! Please MWEB, come and remove your router from my property and cancel the contract, at NO COST. I really do not want to do business with you any further.</p>
