I was sent a link of an advert on FB and was asked to buy a pair of shoes because it was "buy one get one free". I followed the link and the only option available was a so-called 'mega bundle' which I naturally assumed was part of the deal. I ordered the shoes and chose the color, but was puzzled as to why it did not ask me for two colors, since it was supposed to be buy one and get another. I chose none of the additional items since I did not want them. When the order came there was only one pair of shoes. I have written to their support twice and simply got a response, "the website was clear as to which offer was being made.". This was NOT true. The page the link took me to ONLY showed the "mega bundle". This amounts to false advertising and what is more, when I asked if I can return the item and re-order the 'buy one get one free', I was told it cant be done. I now have a pair of shoes at an exorbitant price of R1300 which I would never have bought had I known it was for only one pair of shoes. The customer support of this company is shocking and I would not advise anyone buying from them, even if the shoes are comfortable! The order number, beginning with BS, is very appropriate.
This must be one of the WORST companies out there concerning customer support. You spend hours on the phone trying to reach them, when you cannot there is an option to ask to lodge a support call, I did so twice and 5 days later still haven't heard from them, you cant reach them by e-mail. Bottom line is you CANNOT reach them. Also, there is NOTHING on their site to cancel a service. I highly recommend that if you are looking for 4G or %G WiFi service DO NOT USE THEM. Their customer service is SHOCKING.
If you ever have any issue with ***** on your account with Capitec, be advised that it is the WORST bank in the country in giving assistance around blatant *****, even when you detect the ***** and within an hour go to the bank personally to explain what has happened and ask them to stop several transactions (over R10,000) that are STILL in process and they say they, "sorry, we cannot help you." They claim that security information was given to the hackers, which was ABSOLUTELY not the case, so make me out to be a ****. We are not the first people to be burned by Capitec. Many we know have had the same experience and when reporting this to the Police their words were, "Which bank? Oh, forget it, you will never get any help from them." No other bank gives such shoddy service and as a result we will close our account and never work with this bank again. We will be definitely taking the matter up with the Ombudsman.
I contacted this service provider that was advertised as a Defy Agent on the internet to repair my freezer because it wasn't freezing. They had to come three times to do the repair and finally by-passed all the circuitry using loose wiring in order to get the freezer to work. They clearly know little about the electronic of the Defy Freezer. After the repair to the freezer, the fridge is now is freezing up and they refuse to take my calls and come out. I will NEVER use them again and need others to know that they are absolutely useless, charge you R3000 for a repair that is not completed and should not be advertising as DEFY agents. I have written to DEFY to complain about this and hopefully action against them will be taken.
Shocking service. Sent parcel on Weds from Pretoria to Queenstown and on Saturday it still hadnt arrived. Tried calling their offices and afyer 15 minutes call just cut off. Will NEVER use them again, simply ahocking. Tracking just says 'in transit' but you don't know where. Useless.
I find it absolutely immoral that Discovery get you to take out a life policy with you quoting all the benefits of vitality, how staying on Diamond status will boost your retirement payout etc etc and once you have taken out the policy they randomly move the goal posts so that it almost becomes impossible to stay on Diamond. Last year we had to acquire 90000 points to stay on diamond. This year it just gets increased to 100000 but not only that, the earning of points has been more than halved in so many cases! So instead of getting 2500 for a HIV test, you now only get 1000, etc. For me this is totally unethical and demands a response. How can the criteria for earning points and the targets to reach certain levels be changed after you have contractually entered into an agreement with a client? Like timeshare, I can only ho[e that anyone considering Discovery will think carefully before signing any medical or life policy with them. They are simply out there to make money and care nothing for their clients or their welfare. When their actuaries realize too much is being paid out on diamond status, they simply move the goal posts to make it increasingly difficult to maintain that level. That is immoral.
I have tried contacting their customer care service for over a week in connection with a refund for a cancelled flight and I have received zero response. Shocking customer service. I will never book through these people again and will make it my mission to advise others not to as well.
Must be the WORST pizza delivery service in the southern hemisphere. Took nearly two hours to deliver one pizza and last time well over an hour. Shocking service. I will NEVER deal with these guys again, even if they offer me a dozen free pizzas. Incompetent staff. A complete circus.
My wife placed an order with these guys on 10th December and they claim they will deliver the items purchased within 3-5 days. It is now a MONTH later and we have received nothing, nor have they responded to any of our letters of inquiry or complaint. I now have to report them to the Fraud Division of my bank as well as have the order reversed. They tell you that you can track your order but that too is bogus - the order says it has been delivered and the dates do not tie up in any way with the order. I believe the courier company does not exist. My advise to anyone out there is this : USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN PERIL. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING YOU PURCHASE FROM THEM.
