Best Firearm Store in Johannesburg
I did my proficiency training at Bunker Arms. What a great experience! Kyle and his team are lovely people. There were chats about safety, the act, self defence, etc. and then closed book tests. The classroom is neat and tidy as well as the rest of the shop. The range is also well kept and safe. The instructor (forgot his name) who assisted with doing the practical shoots was very knowledgeable and calm. It was my first time shooting rifles and it was a great experience. They are all round just lovely and humble people. I will definitely be going back here for more training as well as when I make my purchases.

I never thought I would get so excited about a dentist!
I visited the Fourways branch in Lone Hill, in Sunset Avenue. The night before I visited I had excruciating toothache which I could even feel in my brain. I called on Sunday morning and they let me know what time I could come in, I didn't wait too long after filling the forms. The place is easy to find and really clean. The staff are very friendly and organised. Someone came around to offer refreshments, I declined because anything I drank made my tooth worse. When I got to see the dentist he soon discovered that I had a cavity in my wisdom tooth (the last wisdom tooth I have only because no other dentist could extract it over the past decade because its close to the bone, all said I need surgery). He said I could do surgery or have it extracted the normal way. I opted to go for a normal extraction and he did an x-ray to make sure that the roots are straight. At every step of the way I was explained what was going on and told what will happen next and it was all done in simple wording that I could understand. It took only a few minutes to extract and there was ZERO pain (there was some pressure as usual when extracting a tooth). I thought I would feel pain after the anaesthetic wore off later in the night but there was no pain at all even after the area was no longer numb. The next day, still no pain, a few days later still no pain. As I am typing this review it is a week later and I have still not experienced any pain. Some medication was prescribed and I just walked across the road to Clicks to get that, I feel like I didn't need any of the pain killers because there really was no pain but I took them anyway as well as the anti-biotic. I was also given instructions for after care verbally and in the form of a pamphlet. The costs involved were very reasonable too. I will be back again for cleaning and to speak to them about whitening. I have NEVER had such a great dental experience like I did here. I have been telling everyone about it. These are my new dentists!

Disappointing
I applied in March and provided all the documents that were requested, nobody responds to my queries and my application status has not changed. By the time they decide to pay me the money will just get debited out of my account.

Great people build great products!
I decided to change the app I use to buy and sell cryptocurrency. I chose Valr because they have lots of coins and tokens available to purchase and they offer a rebate for referrals. The support team behind this project is amazing, always helpful and quick to respond, and I’m always happy with the responses. I can only assume that they also have a great engineering team (I’m an engineer myself so it’s easy to tell) since I have not discovered any bugs and the app always seems very stable. This is the best crypto exchange in South Africa and will always be the best if they keep hiring amazing people :)

Excellent Staff, Quality Product
I've been shopping at Checkers in Bryan Park Shopping Centre for two and a half years. The store is always clean, prices are great, staff is friendly and always willing to assist and the parking is safe. Even though I live in a different area now, I always go back when I do my monthly grocery shopping.

Best Bank in South Africa
Opened a MyWorld account online, process was simple and FICA was done online too. The app has great features and is simple to use. I love that you can create pockets for savings (and share them with other users) and daily usage and have the benefit of really good interest rates. Fetching my card took 5 minutes and the service was excellent and professional. Literally everything can be done on the app or website.

Best service ever
I got my current apartment through Preferental. I had an unusual situation and the team handled it very well and everyone was professional at all times. I’m very pleased with the process and outcome. Shout out to Ross and Tayla, you are both awesome people! Hope to do business with you again in the future :)

Gas suppliers in Pietermaritzburg - Great Service
Specialist Team is a small business but their service is great. When I still lived in Pietermaritzburg, these were the only guys I bought my gas from. The owner and his staff always made an extra effort to make sure I left with a smile. Their prices are also usually cheaper than all other gas shops and they stock both LPG and industrial gases. I would highly recommend Specialist Team to anyone who needs gas refills or new cylinders.

Best Airline in South Africa
I’ve flown with FlySafair several times between Johannesburg and Durban. This is the best economy airline in South Africa. Their crew is very friendly and they are always on time. Prices are great and e-mail & social media campaigns are always well designed and fun. I will always use FlySafair for my local flights. #greatbusiness

Excellent Service
I’ve been using Hostking for a few years and their service is excellent! The Hostking server admins are very knowledgeable and friendly. Their servers always have the latest hardware and they allow you to use command line tools via shell access on their shared hosting servers. Their VPS servers are also cheap. Mail delivery is also quick and efficient, these guys are one of South Africa’s best hosting companies in my opinion.
