Absolute disaster. Riaan is a smooth talker, but when it comes to quality of service the results are poor. A prject that should have taken just over a week took over a month to finish. Towards the end he was never available and did not do a site inspection. The first time the bath and shower was ised the bath did not drain. The shower which is on the second floor leaks into the tiles/floor and causes damage to the room below. A lot of money spent and down the drain.
Price advertised and when booking is confirmed on website is lower than amount invoiced. When querying this they simply forward the terms and conditions which seems to allow them to do exactly that...
The advertised price on items differ from the price charged on checkout. When enquiring about this they throw the book at you. I'll take my business elsewhere in the future.
Terrible customer service. The call center can only pass messages on via email. Nobody ever gets back to you. Orders gets delayed for weeks without proper communication. Generic emails go out to say your order will be shipped on a specific date and then 3 days after that date you get another mail saying your order will be shipped at a later date. Manager are 'working from home' but it is not possible to reach out to any of them or get them to contact you - pathetic management.
Solar Advice provides a quality service and goods. The website has a lot of useful information on solar and the various solar products. The prices are very competitive too. They respond promptly on queries and the delivery of items ordered was prompt. The only downside is the solar mounting kit and list of items delivered. No detailed list was provided which makes it impossible to sign off on delivery.
Poor client service and not able to get through to any numbers except the 'technical department'. When calling the number on their invoice or the 'customer service' number you still end up at 'technical support'. If you have an accounts issue it is impossible to resolve. 'Managers' makes promises about call backs which never happen. I was very impressed with the efficient signup process. Delivery of the LTE router and activation of the sim and service was done in 2 days. Unfortunately the LTE service is not reliable. When it is working the speed (up and down) is great, but it has been DEAD for 2 days at a time and there is no communication from Ignite to advise the client that there is a known fault and that someone is working on it. The support (WhatsApp and Call in) personnel seems to be uninformed about LTE and not in a position to understand basic questions. (yes, understand, not answer).
Telkom service is beyond bad. Not even the email address on their cancellation form works! They are making it virtually impossible to cancel a service that is not working.
The staff used to be knowledgeable and helpful. Have had problems with my line and speed for more than a week. Staff giving me the runaround and telling me I should downgrade my line. Why would it work for years and then stop working?! Next suggestion is to get a new router; reset the router; get a new ADSL Filter. I have a packaged deal. There is a FAULT ON THE LINE. Report it to Telkom as I have requested and let them give proper feedback on the problem - and fix it!
<p>E-vouchers crashes the system or does not work. Staff are unable to assist and do not understand how their own system works. The new ticketing system is a failure. It takes longer to buy tickets, printers act up then you need to wait for assistance. Home movies is the future. </p>
